Same pretty much, I don't have a big preference with TVs. Sonys are nice, though.
Same, I have not really joined this digital era. It does sound exciting and all but I'm not sure it's where the consumer market is heading. But we'll see.

I bought a new TV about a year ago and I like it lots. It's one of those Sony Google TVs? They never really took off, nor did they produce them long, but it's pretty rad.
I unfortunately cannot speak on that count but I have heard some bad things about them. 8(

Ah that sucks. 8( I remember when I was young, I played PS2 at my dad's house, and the television was very dark. I really only played Kingdom Hearts, and it was impossible to see things in the secret place and on the night time Destiny Islands ( we never made it too much further than that). When I played it again on a normal television, I was shocked at how much brighter and easier things were, hah.

Oh I know it has little romantic basis. For one, Hope is a little kid and while Lightning is not exactly collecting social security, she's got to be at least a few years older, in actual years and in maturity. But I also think that Lightning has a soft spot for Hope; he (and Serah, I suppose) is really the only character we see her being even slightly affectionate towards. It was just so cute djfdskjfa
I've not finished yet so I will not speak for them. 8)

Snow's story could be adorable and sweet but it really just comes off as obsessive and annoying. I think he was just poorly handled. Sazh is more tolerable but I was not taken with him... though I was a bit broken up when I thought he'd shot himself. And I enjoy the Sazh & Vanille dynamic. Hope I just have all these Hope/Lightning shipping emotions about...

I don't mind the battle system of the linearity, really. I do tend to prefer open worlds (FFXII style), but I'm also good with games like FFXIII. I am a bit of a treasure nerd so I like that FFXIII lets me be sure I've gotten everything. 8) I do like Hope and Vanille in addition to Fang and Lightning, but Snow and Sazh are just urgh. The boys of the game really pale in comparison to the ladiez.

I still haven't finished FFXIII and considering how long it's taken me to get to Chapter 11, I won't be done with it any time soon. FFXIII-2 has plenty of time to price drop. c': Did you not enjoy the first or something?

Probably because they realized that Final Fantasy titles will only get "outdated" when a new one is out--which, considering Versus's development cycle thus far, will be never. They're games that people will probably continue to buy no matter how long they've been out.
