    That's awesome! I actually haven't seen Psycho. :O

Really? It's one of my favorite films; it did a bunch of stuff that was before its time and helped craft modern horror movies. Plus, it was the first film ever to show a toilet. XD Okay, I will. Can't wait to have class.

That's sweet! I will have to watch it one day. Lol, first film to show a toilet? My my! XD
And thanks! Saving the best class for the end of the week. Great way to start the weekend.

Haha, yep, and the toilet is actually important to the plot. XD Mmhmm. It gives me something to look forward go, and will most likely be the less stressful class.

Haha, oh it is crazy. The twist at the end is easy to guess these days, but when it came out, it caught people off guard. Yep, but I also have to study for my other classes. All that reading I'd going to suck. XDX

That is very true. Well at least you get one weekend with little reading required. XD If the reading is interesting, it's not so bad. So if you enjoy your classes, it won''t be so eh. haha!

We just really talked about movies and how the human condition is involved. He gave us a few assigned movies to watch. We won't meet next week because of a holiday though. :(

I went to go see Side Effects though. Really great movie.

He assigned us Munich, Training Day (both films are supposed to have similar themes even though they tell very different stories), and School of Rock (basically to look at the difference between the wants and needs of characters). I saw School of Rock and Munich a long time ago, so I really need to see them again, and I have yet to see Training Day.

Nice! I have seen School of Rock, but I can't say for sure about the other two haha. Training Day sounds familiar....hmm... Well you have some movies to watch this week! :D

Yeah, hopefully I can pick them up some time this week. Since they're old, I'd rather buy them at a cheap price then rent them, since I'll probably have to watch them multiple times to let everything sink in, I think I saw Training Day somewhere for five dollars.

    How've you been?

That is true. Besides, if they are good then they will be worth the buy even at a cheap price :D

I have been really well. Slightly fatigued but aside from that, I have been good. :D Thank you for asking! How might you be?

I've been okay. I at least got Training Day and thought it was good. Although, Denzel Washington scares me now because he can play antagonists very, very well. XDX

Besides that, I've just been lazy. Tried to do some reading in my environmental science book, but not much luck. Hopefully I can catch up with the four day weekend coming up,

lol! Denzel Washington is awesome! Great actor!

Haha, being lazy every now and then isn't a bad thing I suppose :P Environmental science book not that interesting hm?

Yes he is. My mom bought Flight, and while it wasn't that great of a movie, Denzel was the best part of it. I see it more of just an acting piece set up for him instead of a regular movie. Not best actor nomination good, but still really good.

Yeah, well, technically, I have am entire week off. XD my next class will be a Wednesday. Hopefully I'll have plenty of time to catch up in classes. How've you been?

Yeah, that's always the best experience with movies. Just sitting there in that atmosphere. I always try to look for the best place to sit when I first go into a theater.

Either Safe Haven or Beautiful Creatures. I'm not really excited to see either of them, but they're the newest ones playing at the theater I go to. And if I want to be a real critic, I need to go see movies that aren't ones that I really want to see, even if I think it's going to be terrible. And who knows? I can always be surprised.

Yeah. I think I'm on my 5th book now.

Me too! Thus arriving early is how I do XD

So what did you end up going to see? Beautiful Creatures looks good, aside from it being another love story >.< The idea is pretty interesting. That is very true....as a critique, good or bad, you go see them. As you said, sometimes what thought to be a bad movie turns out to actually be quite good!

Nice! Not...too many...more to go XD

Mmhmm. I hate going with family though. We usually come late and they take up all the popcorn and expect me to go get the refill. It's anmoying sometimes, unless it's a bad movie.

I didn't end up going to see anything. My parents don't really care for my fascination with movies, nor for the side job for reviewing.

Haha! My family and I try our best to make the popcorn last through the entire movie so that we have some to take home with us for snacking XD Something about theater popcorn that just tastes so much better than any other kind lol.

Aww :/ I am sorry to hear that. But if it's what you want to do....keep going for it! ^-^

Yeah, my family could care less. We don't see eye to eye when it comes to me. To them, it's mindless entertainment, not art. I feel like I'm trapped in my family, I have a different world view from them but they wish I was just like everyone else.

Yeah, I'll try to keep working at it. I wish they paid me a bit thou, the blog I write for. I'd use it to help me get money to pay for the movies on my own.

I tried looking around. I even thought about applying for an internship for ANN, but I'm happy with my place right now. If anything, it gives me a portfolio if anyone who pays actually looks at me.

Haha, it's fine. I've been a bit busy anyway. Thank goodness I have the day off tomorrow. I've actually gotten a lot of the reading done. Probably wont get much done on Tueday since I'm going to be going in for a check up.

Yeah; still a bit to go, but it's manageable now. And yeah, this weekend had gone by a bit fast. I went to the movies today to see Side Effecta again with my dad. I still love that movie. Now I have to see Killing Lincoln to write a review for it.

Your welcome. Mine has been pretty okay. I went to the doctors for my check up yesterday, they took soooo much blood out of me for tests, but everything came back fine. They are lowering the dosage of one of my medicines as well, which I am happy about, I was able to stay awake in my classes today, so I guess that's good. Haha

Yeah. I'm used to being poked though; you kind of get used to it over the years. Mmhmm, much less to worry about. Yeah, and I'm happy I also caught up with my reading. I wills have an exam on Monday, but she said she'd post. Study guide on the Internet, so I won't worry too much.

I have a bit of a fear if needles @.@ haha! Cringe up and tear up when Im near them. V.V it's awful!
Exams on Mondays ahh! Gotta love study guides though! My art history teacher never gave us them. He pretty much just told us to memorize every date/artist/title/location of every piece of art we were taught. His tests were extremely difficult...not many people passed that class with a good grade. I thankfully managed a B+....but my goodness!
    Feb 23, 2013

Yeah, I understand a fear of needles. I'm a bit weirded out of how used to them I am. I also get a little bit shaky when they lower my meds, like, my body shakes and it's not even cold. It only lasts a day or so, but it's scary sometimes.

Ahh, that must've been difficult. I hope my teacher uploads it soon. I know a lot of the stuff in it, but I still want to be safe

Oh my @.@ It would be a bit scary sometimes. I would feel really uncomfortable shaking without reason :/

It was indeed! I loved what I learned in that class, but I was so happy when it was over XD Did your professor ever upload it for you?
    Feb 27, 2013
  49. Scarred Nobody
    Scarred Nobody
Yeah, it really scared me the first time it happened. I'm sure it's just the medicine change, even though it was a really slight drop in dosage. The side effects for these things are weird. Haha

Yeah, she did, but too late for me to really study it. I took good notes and read most of the chapters that were in the lectures. I'm sure I did okay; hopefully enough for a B. How are things with you?
    Feb 27, 2013
  50. strfruit
    strfruit
Haha! Yeah, after your body adjusts to the medicine, lowering that dose even just a little can be effective for a little while. >.<

Well that's good. You'll do good I am sure! :D May even be an A! Haha!
Things are pretty good. Was assigned my shot of the animation film I am working on Sunday, so I have to finish that by Saturday. I have lots of homework along with that, so things have been quite busy for me this week. Makes the week go by so much faster though. I like that, but at the same time, I don't because deadlines approach quicker....ah!! lol
    Feb 27, 2013
  51. Scarred Nobody
    Scarred Nobody
Yeah. Well, the good news is that the odd shaking has stopped, although we still need to get me Vitamin D supplements, so that may bring them back.

Haha, maybe, I wouldn't hold out for an A since there was a few things I just had to guess on. Plus, I second guess myself a lot. Oh wow, that sounds difficult but also very fun. Good luck to you. And yeah, when there is a big deadline. The week seems to go by pretty fast. Never fun; all your study time just disappears.
