I have now met said guy, all he would tell me was that the INTP description does fit him in some ways and doesn' t in others, but that he wouldn' t elaborate. Which of course only flared my inner Sherlock. ^^

If I had to take a wild guess I would have said he' s an ENTP. Already told him so. A few youtube peeps aside all I had to compare was their online description though.

Now that I know you are one I' m all the more confident about my guess, I would have wagered you' re an ENTP as well.

MBTI diagnoses traits you actually have (or tries to), while Zodiac predicts traits you could have based on a (very) loose deterministic model. That I happen to be a Gemini and that Gemini happens to fit ENTP is lucky.

Correct. If you can isolate someone's functions, you can usually find their type. Whether they can answer the test accurately or not.

But it's also reliable to go by letters. That's how I do it. Heh.

My bestie never took the test but I bet he' s an ENFP. He' s gemini.

I guess L does match me, plus he' s got that Taurus sweet tooth, though I' m nowhere near as smart.
