But re: Andromeda, I'm still enjoying it. I think I'm still in the early-mid parts of the game, and I guess my main problem so far is that it hasn't had a moment that really stands out yet story wise that's really compelling. The closest thing for me so far has been the plot thread with the Ryder family, although where I'm at it's a bit of a B-plot.
The kett aren't really that interesting yet imo, but that could change later. Got a couple loyalty missions, but I haven't jumped into them yet since I'm trying to level a bit. The game gives you a LOT of content after the first main planet, and they leave you to pick and choose what you wanna do and just...go.
Sometimes it's nice since you can just do side quests or loyalty missions if you don't want to go straight to the next main mission, and lets you play in bite sized chunks. But if you like games giving you a sense of direction, it can be pretty jarring and overwhelming seeing folders filled with a bunch of **** you can do.
