if it's not on the list, just keep trying different combos on that list. also try 'admin/admin' or 'admin/password' for the username/password combos.

i dont mean disable the connection, i mean disable the password. To do it, copy/paste this:

into your browser address bar.
you should find a login page. Depending on what kind of router you're using the username password will be something on this list:
http://www.default-password.info/smc/
Just keep trying different Username/password combos on that list until one works.
Once you get in, you should be able to find an option to disable the password and make it an "unsecured wireless network". After that, the DS won't ask for a wep key anymore.

a WEP key is the password that you need to connect to the network. It should be the same password that you type in on your computer whenever you connect to it. So you either need to find out what the password is, or disable it.

Give it a shot. Start up the game, go to wc mode, go to communications menu, go to "nintendo wfc setup", go to Nintendo WFC settings, pick connection 1, and see if it finds 'sudden link' or any other access point.

You said that you connect to your internet wirelessly right? Then there's no reason you shouldn't be able to go on wifi.
