First with Beau, who we'd all but confirmed for town, and who ran the risk of becoming a dead spot anyway, which to the mafia is a good thing, because it's another kill they don't need to deal with (funnily enough if that had happened, this whole day would've been different). So although what he's saying makes sense in the fact that lynching someone else might mean 2 mafia kills that day, if he is Mafia, it would mean the opposite effect, 2 town kills that day (obviously Beau got replaced and it was 1 townie death) Which brings us to... His post where he just plainly votes for Krowley, no explanation or anything to begin with, at this point he is already sitting with 2 votes, so joining in now looks less suspicious than being vote 5 or 10 would be. He later goes on to give a 'reason' for voting for Krowley, which makes sense as to why he voted, but not really why he voted for Krowley other than the fact he already had votes, and no lynch is better than nothing, again, if already Mafia, he's well aware of Krowley's status, and wants to ensure another town kill that day so they can guarantee one in the bag. Again, when it came to default, he just voted for him because no one was voting for Kaze, so he went with the guy who was going to get lynched anyway, securing a Hammer for default that day and ending it before any decisions could be changed. Once more providing no real backing to his votes other than "oh other folk are doing it, I'll just vote to lynch this guy too" because he knows they're town, and it's another mislynch in the bag. Because of that, I would have to stick with my gut and continue to support the fact that Princess is most likely Mafia.
Unfortunately there's not much to get from Jiku's posts before Mish replaced her as she never said much, this is the most accusing she ever was, and it was obviously pretty non chalant, again though BtD is mentioned, so his townie ness is looking pretty secure in my eyes, since they both independently pointed the finger at him.
We have to operate under the impression that everything Mish has said so far in the game has to be in attempt to give her and the mafia an upperhand, they are all about misdirection and shadowy acts, so supporting each other in the early game by claiming some to be town also covers the other mafia's backs because they don't just out right say "Oh X is NEVER going to be Mafia, they're just so town like!?" they'll bury them in lists of other names so they are still protected, that's why we need react to her posts as if there's lies in all of them, people she accuses are really because taking the heat off of her and onto them will keep her and her mafia friends safe, and people she supports will only look worse once the truth comes out, that's why it's best to assume that any time she's supported groups of people being town, she's more than likely burying a name of a mafia into them to support her side. Now I'm not super good at the whole reading people thing, never have been, plus this is my first real game of this so im still kinda "what does this button do" when it comes to how to approach things, but I would be more interested in the ????? list of folk as it gives her freedom to not really form an opinion on them, while allowing others to build their cases against them and let's her slip into the crowd if they're ever under fire and follow bandwagon suit. Because of this I would be very surprised if one of Hayabusa, Luxord or Cat isn't Mafia, now for me personally i've always had that gut feeling about Princess, since day 1 and i'll admit it, it's one of those stinks you can't shake about the player, the same way we clung to people like default to be lynched, i've always felt he was one we would be better without, even if turned out to be a mislynch, there's been no unity from his posts and he hasn't really added to anyone elses cases. Hayabusa and Cat are other stories, Cat is very quiet, so again it could be the case of playing it quiet and allowing us to perform mislynch after mislynch and laugh in the back, or she's just not very active. I know you've had a few butted heads with Hayabusa but I'll be honest i've not really felt that he was suspicious in any way at the moment. like I said though im not too hot at reading folk. From those 3 i'd rank from Most Mafia to Least, Princess, Cat, Hayabusa.
This is really the post to focus on I believe, here we have 4 people named who she's "fairly certain" are town, now we have 1 mafia sussed out for certain, and 4 to find, it would be very silly of her to outright say all the other names in this here post but we can guarantee she's said at least 1 of them, maybe 2, my guess would be 1 from the certain list and 1 from the ????? list are Mafia.
@Makaze Ok I got ya. Looking through Mish's posts, in her time in the game she seems to have pointed the finger at me, you, what? and BtD, now as for yourself it's pretty clear you're a townie, after what's happened today, and I know I'm a townie, but obviously only have my own word to go with it at this point which is fine, there's not much else I do have other than her accusation, the same really goes with What? and BtD, she's attempted to point the finger at all 4 of us and with her biggest pointer at you she's shot herself right in the foot and shown her hand, from this I feel until proven otherwise, it would be safe to assume that all her accusations are most likely aligned with town, it's as you stated with her accusation of What? but really on a broader scale, so our efforts should really be focused on people she has backed up or supported. The key lies with Mish.
I just use that as the collective for the group since I dunno what to call them otherwise, players seems a bit generic. going deeper into that, do I think they're townies? Well i'd be totally surprised if they all were, I know in the last game some of the Mafia took a back seat and let the town pick away at each other whilst they flew under the radar, accounting for some people being busy it's hard to believe that all of these people are doing it, otherwise they'd have just dropped out due to inactivity by this point, there's probably a half decent chance one of them is playing like the last game, and not injecting themselves into the group discussion to avoid risk of slipping up and giving themselves away. Now I couldn't say who if any of them are Mafia, because like I said, they're all as inactive as each other I think, (Sorry, but I cannot justify 41 pages just to post count) so none have any obvious tells, just 3 people that might want to have an eye kept on them from time to time.
Twilight Blader, Bite the Dust and Cat I think are our quietest townies.
That makes alot of sense actually, I have to worry about some of our quieter 'townies' aswell, alot of them have been pretty silent since the start of the game, im not even convinced everyone's voted yet, we run the risk of the vigilante being someone who's super AFK and not even going to read all this information and mess up killing Mish.
Alright, so Im work tired, so forgive me if im missing a few things, but what i've picked up so far is Mish is pretty much confirmed Mafia unless Kaze is lying Kaze is pretty much confirmed Townie and Watcher unless he is lying, but at this point in the game it would seem kinda silly for him to be since he's just put a MASSIVE X on his back for the mafia to kill tonight. From the above two, in my head it only makes sense to Lynch Mish today, so we have a confirmed mafia kill and remove 20% (There's 5 of them right?) of their originasation and for all we know their lynch pin, and we can expect to wake up to a murdered Kaze in the morning. Moving on from that Calixyn seems to have formed a pretty strong wagon against lost girl for reasons I'm not 100% sure of? I see that she tried to defend Mish at the beginning of the day when it was under speculation that you may be lying Kaze, but again it would be pretty silly for you to do that, other than that though once it was kinda cemented that Mish has now been confirmed Mafia, lost girl has changed her tone. Marushi and Cal have been going back and forth with Marushi chipping away at Cal and from what I can see, she does appear to be deflecting a few times onto other members, with mentions of Cat and Princess etc. and that's usually classed as fairly suspicious behaviour, especially at this juncture in the game. Between the 4 of them, Mish, Cal, Lost girl and Marushi, I think we've probably got 2 mafia in this net all together, Mish is all but confirmed, it's Kaze's word against his, but he has no reason to lie, if he was and she did get lynched and turned out to be town, you'd be instantly seen as Mafia and murdered post haste by the Vigilante or the town, I'd imagine. I think of the 3 remaining girls given the behaviour, and how very abruptly her attention was focused on lost girl, who was from my opinion at this point in time was only trying to confirm Kaze's word for truth, and potentially support a townie from getting mislynched by Kaze, who up until today hasn't had a very strong standing in the town, until he played his card, Calixyn's 180 onto the lost girl wagon has made me suspect her slightly more, because it almost feels like she saw the opportunity to shout cahoots at lost girl and throw the heat off of her slightly. I think Marushi is thinking along my lines of thought here aswell, and that's why I'd say she's the least likely of our active bunch of posters for this day. So right now I'm feeling Mish Mafia, Kaze Town, Marushi Town, (Calixyn Mafia, lost girl Town) These two im not 100% on right now, but at the minute this is the alignment i'd like to stick with. @Marushi I have work so I can't really wall post right now. But as I said the only suspicion I have had of anyone really who is still breathing is Kaze and Princess, Kaze has obviously just marked himself for death tonight but has made himself known as a town, Princess on the other hand has been someone who's pointed fingers and sidestepped blame a few times, and has been the only person i've had a strong feeling about since early game. He would be my only real 'stab' if we were to leave Mish up to the Vigilante.
...Well, this just did two things, you've putten a massive bullseye on your back, and Mish's. You've just revealed yourself as a role, which means you've got a very short life span my friend, the Mafia are bound to target you tonight, plus it does obviously mean you're a town role, so a lynch would be useless. In terms of Mish however... Unvote: Makaze Vote: Mish This kinda cements her as a Mafia member, and Kaze as a town, it also cements his own death, to be fair. The only thing we can do other than Kill Mish now, is take a stab at lynching someone else, and allowing the vigilante to kill Mish tonight. But i'm too tired for that line of depth of thinking right now, so as it stands, we must murder the scummy Mafia.
@Mish The reason I voted for Luxord is because I was not confident on fuk? being mafia because most of the speculation around him arose from Makaze, another member who has been under the lens a fair few times. I voted for Luxord because since Day 1 they've came off as quite finger pointy when it comes to making votes, and I've always had my suspcicions, alot of this game is going with your gut, and I've only had a strong gut feeling about Luxord and Default, and Default is gone now so really If im to stay with my convictions I'd be only suited to vote for him, and not another member who is at risk of death who I didn't feel 100% was Mafia. At this point those Kaze has given a fair few shots at a member who he's 'convinced' was Mafia and has been wrong every time, he appears to be constantly leading the charge when it comes to them and he has light a fair few torches on the lynch mob and it's gotten us nowhere but a few dead fellow townies. He's manipulative and cunning and I fear we've become complacent in his actions as "Kaze's posting walls of text about this person, it seems pretty logical, I should go with him" as which tends to be the case near the end of the day when a vote needs to be made. I'm well aware I said i'd eat my hat back in day...2? if Kaze was Mafia because I believed it was just his nature that was rubbing off wrongly on people, but I too fear i've came under his foot and allowed him to sway my decision to not go after him, but I will change that now. Vote: Makaze Because you've aided in the lynching of one too many townies for my liking, and worst case scenario, we can finally put to rest this mystery around yourself on whether or not you're Mafia. The last person to really have a go at you was murdered by Mafia last night after all. The evidence is kinda piling up.
