What do you consider to be a mainstream 'gamer'? It used to be to me anyone who plays a variety of games and types of games. Now, however, mainstream seems to be those who just play games at all. The people who play this fitness games or the dedicated FPS crowd, like COD and Battlefield, or those who simply buy the biggest games of the year. These days I don't know. Since gaming has become more accessible to all brands of society they are now the more mainstream and majority of gamers then the 'hardcore' gamers I suppose you could call them now, who play a variety of different styles and platforms. Your thoughts?

Considering the date of releases of games worldwide, I must ask this... Why do European games, when released, come out on a Friday and not a Tuesday like North America? From what I know the stock of games are already here, in stores or warehouses around the country at the time. The big question is why if they have the product ready to sell on time in America, why does Europe have to lag behind a few days? Anyone know the answer?

The sequel to The Darkness, following again the exploits of Hitman now Don of the Family and chosen of the ancient and whispering power of The Darkness, this bloody game has had a lick of graphical change to a comic style and greater control of the slicing and dicing. And a decent looking Cooperative mode, with four different characters each different from one another. I wish this to be as good as the first game, which pushed a lot of FPS games at the time. Something of an adventure, action, sandbox game which involved lighting mechanics as a key gameplay element with small morality options to pick from and a story that was deep and surreal. Please be as good. Doesn't have to be better, just as good. So anyone played the first game, or are looking forward to the next?
