http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tcmcqq0z1Cc I'm just glad that they add to the plot. If it were just more side assassination missions, I wouldn't have bothered.
That coded progression as Data Sora is essentially COM, but with a few minor changes to time period and characters? I just hate the fact you're essentially playing a smaller version of KH1. First game: Great adventure, love it! COM: I miss some of the old worlds! coded: So... is anything new around here?
http://www.bungie.net/Projects/Reach/default.aspx So... the Spartans want alien blood on their visors. Even if it means blowing up a whole planet to get it done.
In FF13, will there be any unique perks/downloads/DLC to either console? Or they both exactly the same as each other in terms of content? Or has nothing been announced yet?
How important is music to yourself? And how important do you think it has been for humanity? Pretty basic, I know, but I do consider it to be part of intelligent discussion. Hope no-one disagrees.
Enlightenment is considered to be a form of spiritual harmony with yourself and the world. Alot of religions believe it is something we all should try to strive towards. It would make us complete, whole and effectively peaceful. It's one of the toughest things we can do in our lifetime, since it takes decades of discipline and commitment to attain and in the end we may just be left with a lot of time considered wasted. But, does anyone believe that humans are capable of being peaceful at an enlightened point?
Another one of those choice threads. Out of the two things in your life, what would you rather have right now or in the future? 1) A job: become succesful, financially stable and moneymaker. 2) A family: taking care of the household, family members and one day maybe raising children. Btw, choosing 1) means your constantly swamped by work, emergency calls, filing, paperwork effectively making you a workaholic with no time to be with your family otherwise you'd lose your job. If you pick 2) you're also swamped with alot of work too. Cleaning the house, keeping things tidy, taking care of other family members, become almost like a therapist to help them with their problems, not to mention trying to raise kids. And btw, just for this type of situation, let's say you have enough time to be able to enjoy the riches you gain (even though somehow you can't be with your family to enjoy it to). It's really a question where you choose between money or love.
Anyone else agree that all the achievements for AC2 are fairly simple? The only one i'm having slight trouble with collectiong all the feathers, mainly because it's dull and longwinded, but meh. Anyone agree? And if anyone needs any help with others or maybe Glyphs, post here and someone will answer i'm sure. Question: Spoiler Does anyone know that in order to get the Trophy 'Show your Colours' do you have to have gone to the Rome area aswell wearing the cape? I know you get the cape after collecting all feathers, but I wonder if I need to start a new storyline dame if I need the Trophy.
I know it hasn't been confirmed but I believe that Twilight Town, or at least the Old Mansion part of it would be a perfect world for a prequel. In the mansion in KH2, everything is ancient, destroyed or deserted and doorways are blocked off. Now, whether on purpose or not, the designers have left alot of area that could be explored or discovered by a player before it became so degraded. The question of, who lived ther? why was it abandoned when DiZ moved in? Was the lab always there, before DiZ occupied it? The Sleeping Pods are mentioned as not being used in a long time, suggesting they've been there for many years. It just has such an expansive history and space that BBS could exploit this for the future. What do you think?
As some or none may know, i've played over the first KH game again to get to grasps with the upcoming BBS story line. Now i've gone through the fight with Ansem the Seeker of Darkness (who is the heartless of Xehanort, and will furthermore be named as Ansem SoD) and I notice a few things that interested me, throughout the whole game. 1) Riku: His Soul Eater (aka: SE) weapon has a blueish eye, with dark wing-fins as a blade. Now, the first time we see SE, is in Traverse Town (second visit) before joining forces with Maleficent. Also, Way to Dawn, the keyblade version of SE is mainly considered to be the manifestation of both the light and dark parts of Riku after accepting who he is. 2)Ansem SoD: during his final battle in the dark abyss area, he uses a double headed voulge weapon, with the SE wing-fin designs and blueish eyes. [If anyone can find a picture of the last battle on the World of Chaos vessel, please post it up!] This is the fight I mean: 3) Vanitas: both his armour and Keyblade mimic the basic design of the SE, with both the blueish eyes and the red black design of the fin-wing blade. I'm not quite sure how to take information like this. I do believe that they all have a connection with each other, Ansem SoD tempting Riku with Darkness, leading him to control his body and therefore his powers and weapons. Vanitas is still a wild card and I don't know where he could come into it, maybe part of Riku's family or he's actually young Xehanort, the one who opened the darkness onto the worlds? The main reason for the similar themes of weapons and clothing has to be taken in a similar way to these: A) It could be that all these characters are ultimately connected, and therefore share similar traits to one another. B) Just as well, it could be because all characters shown, have used darkness before and are some how able to temper the darkness into weapons, clothing and abilities. Or it could be something else completely. I want to know more people's thoughts on this. What do you think???? Also, to side note. The Guardian I notice the guardian concept is quite interesting. Picture the scene between TAV facing MX in the middle of a field of ten thousand Keyblades stuck into the ground. Suddenly, the shadowy image of Vanitas seperates from MX into a full being. When TAV attack, first on the scene to protect MX is Vanitas. Both Master and Apprentice become instantely intune with each other and are able to fight effectively together, using magic and Keyblades alike. Now, to think back to KH1, you're finally fighting Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness, (Xehanort) for the first time. Out from his shadow sprouts the image of a Guardian. Both are able to attack and defend each other with ease, the Guardian even possessing you and your friends to let you open to attack. It's as if they have been together forever, and over the years been able to synch up with each other over that long time. Now, if it isn't obvious what i'm thinking think...you need to get a better imagination. I'm saying that the Vanitas AND the Guardian are the one in the same being, the later being deformed because he has lingered in darkness for so long, and can only survive by clinging onto Ansem SoD. Don't ask me the MX, Xehanort, Ansem SoD connection. Alot of theories already address this. I just believe this to be able to used to further prove or disprove other argumanents if anyone wants to. Thank you and goodnight!
The eating of one's own species. 'A story once told of a group of immigrants from Mexico trying to float their way into America with the use of a small boat. 8 men in all, drifting for 4 weeks in the hot sun and cold nights, with only small meals to feed them, comparable to 4 days worth. After a long and sickening night sleep, each memeber woke up one by one. That is except for one man. He seemed to have died from lack of nutrients. The crew had little choice and decided to push the body over board before it would attract all sorts of horrible things. The next few days, another man died. And then another and another before only 4 men were left in the boat. Here, was where the crew had decided that the next one to die would offer up his body to the rest of the survivors to keep them going for another say. The day came that the 4th fatality had occured. The last of the men fed on his corpse in disgust. 3 hours later, they were rescued by coast guards.' Now, the story may only be an urban legend, but still the question remains. Is it right to eat the body of the same species?
Ok, again another crazy theory, but here it goes. I was playing KH1 again to get to scrap with the storyline again and I got this theory. Ok, so lets start with Ven, he's an upcoming Keyblade master who looks like Roxas, Sora's Nobody. Now i'm thinking that Ven, after looking for MX in BBS was either mortally or had given up on the future (since he found out MX, Vanitas and Terra have all turned to darkness or something like that). In basic i'm not sure what, but something happened to Ven. So because of this 'something' happening he ended up on Destiny Isles where he met young Sora, at this point I believe that Ven had given up his existence and fused it into Sora. THis is why Roxas looks like Ven, because part of Sora is fused with Ven. I also think that before this point, Sora was never destined to be able to wield the Keyblade. In Hollow Bastion (first visit) in KH1, Riku is able to take the Keyblade from Sora, everyone was confused why this was possible but Riku explains, saying 'You were just the delivery boy'. I think Riku was most likely destined to wield the Keyblade first, but thanks to Ven giving up his powers and abilities to Sora, this changed everything, letting Riku to be led down the path of darkness. So....any good?
Imagine for one moment, just one major problem thats affecting the world at the moment, or once affected the world, ok? Now, think, has this situation been improved because of human intervention? Or has it even made things worse? Ok, now could you srare what your thought was a if you believe human intervention has helped or worsened the problem. (I hope this works, since i'm not sure what a lot of people consider major situations, but if you want some ideas think of crime, pollution, reservation of plants and animals, ets.) By the by, a few interesting ones I wouldn't mind people thinking of like a cure for cancer and the justice system. Brownie points if people can tell me bout either of these two.
SO another one of those 'I saw it on a poster' questions. I've seen the question on this board for over a year now, but i've just started to think about it. I mean, this situation is based on gambling with money and in Casinos, etc. And I got to thinking, yes it's irrational to enter an unsure situation but, really the most amazing things can happen with a gamble. So, now it's your time, express your opinion people. Gambling: Good, bad? Should be legal illegal? Rational or irrational?
This is a classic moral situation, one I picked up from a poster at my school, so I thought, what the hell... A situation occurs, your walking down you local street just after visiting some friends, you know you ate too much ice cream, but it was so good! However, you're disturbed by a shrill scream from down the road and the sight of black smoke rising in the air. You mover closer and see a burning building. You can't see any emergency services and a large crowd continues to gather. You look at one of the windows and you see the person you care about most struggling in the flames. You're stunned and are unsure what you can do, however you rush in the entrance and try to rescue them. Through the burning hot flames and choking smoke filling your lungs, 2 rooms appear. One shows your friend stuck on the other side deep in flames certain to be ingulfed by fire soon. Whilst in the second room, a doctor cries out for help, they claim they have the knowledge to finally cure cancer and save millions, if not billions of lives. And.... you realise you have a choice. Save the person you care about the most or the person who could cure cancer that has affected the world deeply, saving many, many people. You have time to only save one, the other would be killed by the time you rescued the other. So... what would you do?
This is just an assumption I have on how the game will pan out in very general terms, so spoilers are here. So onto the topic, The game starts off with you being one of the three apprentices, T, V or A, and you are introduced to the main players: you, the other apprentices including Varitus, your masters Eraqus and Xehanort and maybe a few other unknown characters of yet. After a few intro lessons your told that Master xehanort and his apprentice have left unexpectedly. Your sent, under the guidance of Eraqus where he promotes you to Chaser and sends you to seek the two others in order to become Keyblade Masters. You visit many worlds, old and new, where by you uncover more about the Keyblade War and how each of the apprentices are changing through their journey. They are tempted by the darkness, where the Unversed feed on their negative and dark emotions. Finally through determination, they are able to fend off the dark and find that the master and apprentice have ambitions to take over all the hearts in the universe through the power of Kingdom Hearts, thus becoming all-powerful. They return to their master to be told that to fight the new threat of Xehanort, they must don a powerful but costly armour. They accept, and journey to the Crossroads, here the fight that we all know from the seceret movie, begins. From here they are able to stop Xehanort, but however Terra had to give into the darkness (such as Riku did) to defeat the threat. However, the cost of wearing the armour, condemed them to linger as lifeless beings where few would find them. Now I know i'm not detailing alot about the Unversed, Xehanort or his apprentices actions, or the continuation in the KH universe, but it is just a big overview. So, whats you thought? Have I got it right so far?
Reliving some old Kingdom Hearts cutscenes I've seen Kairi's heartless body with Riku on both Captain hook's Ship and Hollow Bastion. Now according to the specs of the KH Universe, that should have either returned to darkness or turned into a Nobody (accordingly Namine), but there it is, lifeless being carried along by Riku who is looking for her heart to put back into her body. So, WTF? Why in KH1 is Kairi's body still there when it shouldn't? Please inform.
I was going back over the vids of Terra, Aqua and Ven appearing in the secret video, and I saw the word Chaser. Now I checked and an article on the Chasers either hasn't been done or hasn't been done lately. Now, i'm gonna guess that the word Chaser, is a rank of some type, most likely people who chase down lost people and maybe other lost things (memories, keyblades, or the such). If so, i'm guessing the Chasers in BB are T, A and V sent by Master Eraqus to find the whereabouts of Master Xehanort and his apprentice. Now has this been confirmed or speculated before? If so i'm sorry for the waste of time.
Ok, I have pratically just finished KH 358/2, and i've got a question that I can't find the answer to, sorry if it has already been asked, I did look around. It's fairly long. Spoiler Anyway, throughout the games conversations the cutscenes and in one of the Secret Reports, I can safely say that both Saix and Axel knew each other before becoming Nobodies. (Weak) Evidence: Saix knows Axels true name of Lea. Numerous conversations between the two, indicate that they have a good understanding of one anothers personality, and treat each other fairly equal compared to other Org Members. Also, the Seceret Report Day 118 says a lot, as Axel is the writer: 'Talking to Roxas and Xion always brings back memories of my human life, back when I was a kid, it's a weird sensation. I ought to be able to share all this with Saix, but I just don't feel like it anymore. It's strange, but i'm not content with just missing what's gone. I'm not the one who changed. You did.' When Axel says he should be able to share this with Saix and that it was Saix who had changed, it shows that they were once close with each other, probably when they were human and kids. It begs the question whether or not they may appear in the next game as kids. Still this is all a speculation. So, whats the deal? Nomura said anything? We gonna see them in Birth By Sleep, you think? Anyone with theories or answers are welcomed.
These titles in the debate corner always make me think of news programmes discussing current events and so on. But anyway onto the point. Capital punisment is (if you may not know) the 'execution' of someone who has commited a usually major crime or a number of major crimes. Now in many countries this is an illegal course of punisment, however, in as many countries (or certain states in a country) this is a legal action. What I wonder is, do you believe it to actually be a good course of punisment for certain 'vile' criminals or just plain murder?
