Actually, that's a good observation. "Endless" does apply to the soul, so I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be true. Only problem is, this is said to take place before the existence of Heartless and Nobodies. Unless, of course, Nomura contradicts himself, as usual.

As long as it isn't a book, I'm fine.

Bad? From Sora's perspective, yes. But evil? No. They all only desired to have emotions; they just used different methods.

No, not even they were evil. Marluxia wanting to overthrow Xemnas and take over the Organization was merely an alternate method to achieve the same goal as every other Nobody. Larxene simply agreed. They're no different than any other Organization member.

In FM+, it was stated that Axel was "good", but only while he was in Roxas or Sora's presence, because their hearts actually connected to him and caused himself to temporarily have emotions. Roxas is the only Nobody that's actually different from the other Organization XIII members, as he's probably the only known Nobody that's "good" and actually has emotions. It's true that Demyx didn't prefer to fight, but on the inside, he was like everyone else in Organization XIII.

They're neither. The only reason they want to become whole is so that they can have emotions and thus a free will, that isn't necessarily good. Their actions aren't personal at all, but simply their methods for achieving their goals.

C'mon, guys. It's even stated in the game and the guides themselves that they aren't "light" or "dark". They're "nothingness".

For some reason, none of the Disney characters seem to age. I'm betting that if they appear at all, they'll look exactly the same as they did in previous games.

A lot of people are theorizing that the new member is Aqua, because of Xemnas' connection to her in FM+. It's possible, but we'll probably never know until the game itself is released.

Actually, in terms of the Kingdom Hearts Universe, they're neither good nor evil. At all. Nor are they in-between.

The powers in this series implicates what "side" someone is on. Riku, Xehanort, and the Heartless used "Darkness", Sora used "Light", and the Nobodies use "Nothingness". Riku wasn't entirely evil, but he had to have had some amount of darkness within him in order for him to have the ability of using it. The same rule applies to Sora with light. The Nobodies cannot use light or darkness, because they have no amount of either within them (the only exception to this case is Roxas). They simply have no emotion at all; they're only doing these things only because they have a desire to have emotions. Everyone else had a free will and could choose whether they wanted to be "light" or "dark". The Nobodies have no such thing; they're all essentially ignorant, robotic beings.

That being said, the Nobodies are simply nothing, as implied. They have no emotion to choose whether they want to be good or evil. They have no desire to do good things, and no desire to do evil things. The only desire they have is to gain a free will.

Since when did preferation come into this? Since when do Nobodies even HAVE a preferation?! Just because he has bishounen characteristics doesn't mean he's gay. Hell, look at Vaan of FFXII fandom. His face looks so flawlessly feminine, yet chances are he has the hots for Penelo, who is a female. Most bishounens I've seen (excluding doujinshi) are not homosexual at all.

I also can't understand why some of you guys think CoM is owned by Nintendo. Yes, it's for the GBA, but it is clearly owned by SE. Perhaps people think this because the CoM box has the Nintendo seal of quality on it...?

I agree with what everyone else said, and he is indeed a great drawer. However, I hate to sound like a n00b here, but it would be nice if you could maybe give an explanation of what each form does. I've seen the ES videos on youtube many times, and yet it's STILL hard for me to keep up with his attacks. If anyone can explain the forms and what they do, it would be greatly appreciated.

No offense guys, but if this entire final boss situation was reversed, you would be crying for Armored Xemnas instead. Even I would. But to tell the truth, I like the final boss as he already is. The reason Nomura probably didn't go with "King" was because he didn't look as Nobody-ish as the Dragon Ship (or the "World of Naught" as I like to call it), so he went with the dragon instead. If anything, this concept looked more like a Heartless than a Nobody. However, at least he didn't scrap the idea of the boss being formed from part of TWTNW. The conceptual boss was formed from the buildings, and the dragon ship was formed from the castle. It all evens out.

I also found it strange that his weapon was a book, but I sort of had a feeling all along that his weapon would be much different from the others, hence the fact that Nomura had kept it a secret for so long.

Yeah, I saw the video where one guy beat ES at level 1. It seemed he did it easily too, as every time the ES would attack, he would either dodge roll or block with his Keyblade. Most of the time he would stay in one place as well. Perhaps there is a way to defeat ES without having to resort to all of the forms and whatnot.
