The irony of this is is that I'm singing a Kelly Clarkson song for my Christmas Concert and my mom HATES IT but I like it... but I picked it... the world is a weird place man

I just don't like Kelly Clarkson I guess, and it sounded too like... pop singer to me? It's supposed to be this deep emotional song, but it sounded like your everyday catchy pop song on the radio and it took away the sadness if that makes sense. Not that pop songs can't have meaning but like, it just sounded over saturated? I don't know, you may know what I mean

edit: Maybe too many like, weird vocal effects? That's probably it. Not auto-tuning but other stuff
