Eek this past week went super busy for me so I didn't get a chance to get back to my own topic lol.

In any case, yes, Romney dropped out. I'm pretty pleased with the three remaining: Clinton, Obama, and McCain. Ideally, in my opinion, it would be one of the Democrats-- they're too close and I haven't made my final decision yet. McCain is the most liberal of the Republicans, though, so I'm happy about him.

And I thank heavens Ron Paul didn't make it. >.< My major issue with Ron Paul is that he'd dismantle the Department of Education. Which does the FAFSA. Which gives me my loans. Which lets me go to school. Which lets me one day get a good job. Woot. And I just....don't particuarly trust what he says, pparticuarly pertaining to women's rights and whatnot.

As for the other three, I don't particuarly care for either Clinton or Obama's border policies (I live in Arizona, which is a very big border state). McCain I tfeel has a stronger edge over national security-- he's also very liberal for a Republican, which is good in my opinion.

If Huckabee somehow wins by the grace of a falling sword on anyone else's head, I'm going to Canada. Huckabee...in my opinion...can swallow a knife. Dropped in acid. And containing anthrax. X.X

I don't particuarly like anyone-- nature of politics-- but out of all the ones in the running, I think that the three we're left with are the best to be done.

Agreeing with the two posters above me... it's not equality if straight persons have the right to practice PDA excessively and homosexual persons are not. It's something we will have to get used to though, I'm sure.

I love Sora too and like someone mentioned, I think he's too cute for words when they're in Halloween Town and he's all "ZOMGSANTA!!" I couldn't stop smiling because it was so adorable!

And I loved seeing Roxas again in the World that Never Was (even if it baffled the hell out of me the first time before I looked it up online about how it involved Axel...and then the yaoi fangirl inside me squeed for days on end...in fact she's still squee'ing about it).

And when Sora cries at Riku's feet..it tore at my heartstrings! It was so sad! <3

And suffice to say...I love the ending and there aren't any real words to descirbe how much I love it. Everything in it is entirely perfect to me. <3

In any case, America is lagging behind on homosexual rights (figures, we lag behind on civil rights all the time really...). Many other countries, like Canada and the United Kingdom, all have no laws against same-sex marriages. I don't know the cause (I can speculate and get into a long diatribe about religion and ignorance and prejudice but I won't), but those are facts.

In my opinion (I'm agnostic, but I sure as hell don't believe in a Christian god), it's wrong, much like the reason stated at the very outset of this thread. Yes, the Constitution says that everyone has the same right. It's written there, in black and white, and again and again we seek to specify and exclude from that clause. We have a history of prejudice and there's still deeply rooted prejudices today, against women and people of different nationalities and now homosexuals.

I'm a firm beliver, however, that as this generation grows up (the one in the technology-era and the following), they're growing up to be a more accepting, much more tolerant bunch. You're still going to have prejucide, you can't erase that (this isn't paradise sadly). But I do firmly believe that this generation will grow up to be much more tolerant than the one that controls the government now. It's my hope that this more accepting generation will realize the basic rights of all human beings in this country and recognize their rights (people of color, women, homosexuals) are the same as every other person.

Freedom means to have equality. We don't have that right now.

If it's in CGI I think it would be great. I honestly would like to see the movie, just to see what kind of effort it would be. It might end up spectacular, and if it doesn't, well, the games will always be the same. I'd be interested to see it, actually. I wish they would make one. If they made an amazing movie, it would so be worth it. :)

I haven't played KH1, because KH2 was the first game I got when I got my PS2. Needless to say, I absolutely adore KH2 and I actually wasn't going to play KH1--I didn't see the point, as I've watched all the cutscenes (and when I say ALL the cutscenes I mean, ALL the cutscenes) from it and the animation didn't look too appealing.

Reading this thread and hearing some more friends' testimonies, though, I figure that whenever I run across it I'll pick it up and play it. It's a lot harder to come by around here...none of the local Gamestops have had it (I've been looking when I run around like a crazy fool trying to get the Wii haha) and I found one copy over at FYE, but the disc was scratched and even though it was "guaranteed to work" I still didn't like the looks of it. So I'm not actively pursuing it, but if I happen to run across it at some store and it's in decent condition I'll pick it up and play it.

I really just think it's symmetry and parallels...you know, toshow everything is connected. A lot of scenes are connected and I just think it's meant to be more...hmm. I can't think of the word. Just symmetry. Everything is connected. *insert religious chant*

I honestly think the Simple and Clean song backward is just...gibberish. It doesn't sound like anything to me.

I will admit though that Sanctuary does sound like it has words backward (besides what we already know).

In any case, I do think they both sound great backward too. :)
