I agree that it should be in the Keyblade Graveyard. The battle there in BBS never concluded, so I think everything needs to be finished there. The place where it all started is the place where it needs to be finished. Don't you think?

Hmmm...I'm a lot like Namine. I'm quiet, and I like to draw. But, I'm a lot like Xion too. And...I like people to be happy--like Sora does. So, I'm like any of those three. :)

Hello everyone! I've been a member of this site a few months, but I haven't really been actively posting anything. I''d like to get to know everyone. So...hello! I've been a fan for about three years now, and I LOVE KH! My favorite characters are Xion, Riku, Ven, Xigbar, Axel, and Leon. Who are your favorites?

My story takes place during Dream Drop Distance. In fact, it's part of the scenes at the end of the game, so those of you who haven't finished DDD, don't read it in case of *spoilers*! It covers Sora's fall into darkness and the origin of the questions that Riku is faced with from Roxas, Ventus, and Xion.
    "Three Questions"

    Darkness.
“It’s because we need you, Sora…”
    Orange eyes.
    “The thirteenth dark vessel.”
The darkened sky was hidden by the man’s emotionless, young face. His silver hair replaced the coldness of the moon. Sora felt the hard street on his back. He had no power to move. Black vapor began to steam around his body, choking his lungs, burning his eyes.
There was a pain in his chest, marked by the x on his shirt.
    “What’s…gonna happen…?”
The young silver haired boy leaned over him, pleasure somewhere in his eyes.
“My appointed path is now etched in my heart. Yours is no different.”
Sora saw his vision blur, black splotches clouding his vision. The image of the silver-haired boy over him flickered to that of someone he knew well…Someone he had always had to reach out to and help. But now…
    “Riku…”
It took all his strength to murmur the name.
The true image of the boy returned, as well as his amusement.
“So, light gives way to darkness…”
Sora watched his hand reaching towards him like a claw.
    “Goodnight, Sora.”
    Darkness.
    . . .

Sora’s eyes were sealed as he sunk into a hollow, darkened world. The realm above filtered light to guide his descent, but he could never hope to reach it again.
The pain in his chest hadn’t ceased. His heart was pounding…his mind racing.
    His last thought was Riku.
“What is it you’re so afraid of?”
The voice was so familiar, like a part of him. His eyes refused to open, but he was certain he could visualize a boy his age with blonde spiky hair.
    Roxas
    .
“Do you fear…getting trapped in the darkness?”
That thought had never occurred to him, except now that the thick darkness was swallowing him up.
“Do you fear…causing someone to be hurt?”
Sora’s thoughts turned immediately Riku and Kairi and everyone else he had met throughout his journey. It had been his goal to help each one, but…had he done something wrong?
“Do you fear…losing something that’s important?”
He always had feared that, but he had always known he would gain whatever it was again. But, here in this world, anything seemed possible. Everything important felt out of reach.
“What is the thing you care about more than anything else?”
There was subtle change in the tone, but Sora knew that Roxas was no longer speaking to him. This boy’s voice was one he had heard years ago.
He felt another throb of pain…in his heart.
“Do you care about…hearts connected by light?”
    Of course he did.
    “…Your close friends?”
    More than anything.
    “…The strength to protect others?”
He had always had it. But now, that strength was fading. He could feel the darkness gnawing on him, threatening to douse his light. But then, he felt something start to form around his body. It was heavy, but protective. Armor.
For one moment, he thought he caught a glimpse of the boy he had never seen--the one who’s light came to rest inside of him. But then it was gone.
His body continued to plummet, away from the light. He felt his senses fading.
    “Sora…”
    Kairi?
    “What do you wish?”
His eyelids lifted just enough for him to see out of his visor. He could see a girl who looked identical to Kairi, but had black hair and was wearing an Organization Thirteen coat. On either side of her stood Roxas and the other boy.
“Do you wish to protect your friends?” The girl asked him with a faint smile.
“Or,” Roxas added, “To recover something important?”
“Could it be,” The other boy asked, “you wish to heal the pain from the past?”
Their words echoed around his head until their images blurred into his own likeness.
    “Riku knows,” Sora whispered.
    Darkness.
    “Let him decide.”

My first jump into Kingdom Hearts started with the original game, but in a little different fashion than most fans. I was introduced to it on Youtube. Yes, my KH experience began only a few years ago when my sister showed me the opening to KH1. I was immediately awed by the professionalism of the voice acting. From there, Riku grabbed my attention, and overall the whole cutscene confused, yet interested me. And, that was only the beginning…
So, what is it about KH that is so special? That is not easy to explain. Part of the specialty must be thanks to Disney. There is just something so magical about Disney, and anyone can feel that if they visit the theme parks or watch the movies. But, Square Enix can not be ignored. Their brilliant games are truly responsible for the great characters and plot of KH. I know that ever since KH, I and my sister have been watching a lot of Disney--and appreciating it more and more.
As a writer, I am especially attracted to KH for its story and plot. Those games have given me so much inspiration for my own writing, and for that I am grateful. The characters of KH reminded me of the characters in my stories, giving the games a sense of familiarity for me.
One of the points I appreciate about Kingdom Hearts is the relationship of the characters. Sora, as well as others, exhibit such a positive concept of helping those in need. I also love how the characters will just break out laughing with each other. Its such a perfect image of friendship. My sister and I relate to Sora and Riku in their friendship, (especially at the end of KH2 or DDD). One of the greatest things is being able to see yourself or your friends in characters.
As a Christian, I appreciate the concepts of fighting against darkness and standing for light. Doing what is right is what any person should strive to do. When me and my sister went to a convention dressed up as Xion and Riku, we entered the costume contest, and one of the judges told us, “Good luck fighting the darkness!” It was uplifting, because it was applicable.
For me, one of the greatest influences of KH is Final Fantasy’s Cloud Strife. When I first “met” him in KH1, I liked him because he was cool and reminded me of my own characters. In KH2, he took on a change. His struggle with darkness was more focused on, and anyone who struggles with guilt or their past can relate to him. I struggle sometimes with the inability to let things go, and my sister even called me “Miss Strife,” because of that. So, he is, in a sense, a “fellow-sufferer” for some people. But even Cloud overcomes his past.
It is truly hard to summarize the impact of Kingdom Hearts into a few paragraphs. The magic of the games reaches people of all ages. All I know is that I am glad that I did not skip this series. I would definitely be missing out.
