I'm going to guess that they're lines that were considered, recorded, but left out. It's not uncommon for lots of different demos to be left out, actually, so I'm guessing that's why they were used. As for Xemnas, and his line, I'm going to bet that the scene was meant to happen, but left out purposely, so it could be used in FM+. After all, the whole thing gets scripted first, and then they record what they think will make it into the game. If a scene needs to be cut, for whatever the reason, they won't just delete everything immediately, as it might come out in a Director's Cut version, or something. Of course, there is still a good chance that if it comes to America, the actors might voice over for those parts. It'd make sense, since the parts were voiced in Japanese, and all. That is, IF FM+ goes elsewhere.
Listening to Demyx's laugh during the group jeering, at Hollow Bastion. Seriously, everyone else was all evil-sounding, and Demyx's is so clear and obviously NOT evil. Made me laugh.
Hm... Nictresix (Hard consonants, or sort of a roll-of-the-tongue on the "ctre" part) Scryxis (Sounds like "Scry"-"zhes") I'd think of more, but I'm liking the second one, yup. :3
Hm, interesting proposal. I suppose mine would be... Xawme(t)th: optional "t" in there, as it really doesn't change the pronunciation at all.
Hm, there's someone on Youtube who beats everyone with constant spamming of both Ars Arcanum, and Ragnarok. Seriously, he or she would just use it over and over, and could go about five times before having to throw out an Elixir, and start all over. The dude's fights never lasted more than three minutes, pretty much. Aside from Marluxia's final form, since there were three targets. Scratch that, found it. For your viewing pleasure Seriously, when spamming enemies get you down, you have to spam right back, just to win.
Well, they're not so much the symbol of death, in the way a rose is the symbol for love. Cherry Blossoms are often considered as a scene for passing, when someone dies, but is headed toward a good future. More importantly, it's only when the petals fall from the tree, that they are considered to be a symbol for death. Aside from all of that, Marulxia's sexual preference really isn't supported by this. Not only that, but to be quite honest, if Nobodies can't feel emotions, then I'm pretty sure they don't have sexual preferences either. I mean, it just seems so odd that a Nobody could be straight or gay, when they don't even have a heart to be able to feel the emotional bond, and yet can still feel the physical one? Kind of detrimental to what they are, honestly. And as for Axel and Roxas, they're just friends. Everyone elaborates on it, because Axel had his little fit at the end, but let's be honest, if your best friend all of a sudden had to be killed, and you had to be the one to do it, wouldn't you get a little teary-eyed? Ugh, hate Aku-Roku...
Hm, well it would depend on the direction they intend to go in. If the game is like KH1 & 2, where Sora is the main controllable, then the system won't change very much. Aside from Reaction Commands possibly expanding into different outcomes, based on different buttons being pressed (as in using 'X' to attack, or Square to block/dodge) the system really won't change. But, if what I'm thinking is correct, the system might become something of a three party control group. In other words, being able to change the lead member on the fly, between Sora, Kairi, and Riku. This would mean expanding on abilities, as each character would have their own, and quick-change would probably be done through an expanded "Party" slot. Drive Forms will more than likely be limited only to Sora, so what that slot would become for other characters is debatable. For all we know, the forms might just be distributed to everyone, evenly. Personally, I think they'll do more with the Dirve Gauge. Perhaps some sort of Drive Limit, or something? I dunno. Though, if they do go in that direction, then I'll have right to scream, "U TUK MY IDEA!" at Squeenix. ... Hm, tough choice there...
All the female leads in Disney Movies are known as Disney Princesses. Alice was chosen because you visit her world, and unlike Ariel, can survive on dry land.
Well let's, for just one second, forget the fact that finishers were taken away from Mickey so a fight couldn't be finished with him, and start remember that as a character, he's got a fair amount of skill. With that in mind, I have to say that Ansem and Rik-sem are at a great disadvantage. Mickey has the "Pearl" attack, which is nothing more than Holy magic, balled up into a little projectile. Not to mention that he can fire more than one at a time (As seen in Re:CoM as a Riku/Mickey sleight) and each move rapidly. Riku cannot use Holy magic on his own, though. After all, even alone, Riku uses darkness, and thus is exempt from using the light. Heck, even his Key is based around darkness. With that said, Mickey vs Roxas is the only problem. Roxas definitely has an advantage, what with dual wielding keys and all that, but Mickey has MUCH more experience at handling the Keyblade. The only thing Mickey can't counter is the lasers that Roxas can produce. But, let's be honest, they're not the hardest thing to avoid. Let's also look at the fact that Mickey>Sora>Riku>Ansem in terms of power, and who has beaten who. Mickey can wipe the floor with Sora, and by default, can also defeat anyone Sora has defeated. So Mickey comes out on top.
And nobody asks for FF9 characters... Personally, I'd like to see Kuja make an appearance. Mostly because he'd be a much harder enemy to face off against, than Sephiroth could ever hope to be. I mean, seriously, in the game, even after you beat him he STILL kills you, and STILL manages to survive. ... For a little while... Still, he'd be an interesting enemy. Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo would be fun to bring in, especially since Sephiroth and Cloud already left Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden, and hence aren't going to be coming back. Good thing, as most people kind of paid more attention to Cloud than any one else, and it was a little annoying. I'd like to have the staple characters for FF9 as well. Zidane, Vivi, Steiner, and Dagger, they were all interesting characters. Some more FF8 too, like Zell, and....and...RINOA! xD
Well, to be honest, Zexion was originally concerned about what Marluxia was going to do with Sora. Zexion was also working with Vexen, who Axel killed on the grounds of betraying the Organization. It's safe to then assume that Axel target Zexion, completely out of speculation that Zexion was going to betray Marluxia, whom Axel had to gain trust. To put it short, Zexion was killed, because Axel needed to get Marluxia's trust, more than likely.
Well, you have to take into account that sometimes, especially with GBA games, that the script is run through a translator, and sent out pretty much "As is". Not the mention the fact that voices weren't needed, so the translation could be flawed, and still be OK. "Got it memorized?" was probably decided upon, when they got Axel's voice actor. Mostly because "Commit it to memory!" sounded a little too formal, especially for a character like Axel, and thus was changed from the CoM counter part. They're the same thing, it's just that "Got it memorized?" has a little more flavor to it.
Granted, the Berserk would be a little difficult to block, but Master Form a little faster on the ground. It might be possible to run from him, making use of the second jump to put a decent amount of distance from him, when he gets too close for comfort. See, it's times like these that make me a little upset that I don't have KH2FM+. I'd like to try it myself, but alas, I'm stuck to hypothetical situations.
Thinking back to forms, it's hard to say which ones will work best. Notably, Final Form will be a huge success, due to the amount of gliding that needs to be done. Personally, I want to see how well Master would work. The form is generally faster, and since Reflect can be used well, this form also buffs up the damage sent back at the enemy. Not as much as Wisdom, but still. Not only that, but Master Form's aerial finisher is a completely invincible strike, and has a large radius, and goes for a decent amount of time, while striking multiple times. Makes me wonder how much more damage could be done to the ES on the third combo, with this as the finisher. I would think it would work well, mostly because you don't actually have to glide at all during the fight, if you just make good use of Reflect and Guard.
Definitely "Oliver and Company". We could see more animal forms, and play with the whole dog and cat thing. Aside from that, there's another genre people may not know about. Movies like "Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle" are all based in Japan, right? But here in the States, these games were released THROUGH DISNEY. So could that mean, since Disney Interactive is mostly American based, that those movies, even though they weren't made by Disney, could be used in Kingdom Hearts? It's something that I think could actually happen.
Well, I wouldn't so much say that he sat in front of a TV. I mean, I've watched a few Youtube videos, and the ES's battle strategy is pretty straight forward. At the start he always uses that rocket, which is easy to block. Then he's open for three combos, and then let's out a quick circular strike. Repeat until half-health, when he starts sending out those beam-things, which act as his main attack, until another bar or two goes down. Then he flies at you with the charged up key strike, and with four consecutive blocks, or use of Reflega, you can block those all easily, and strike him for another set of combos. Stay far away, and he can't unleash his most devastating of attacks, and you pretty much make him dance. It's all about analyzing, and keeping your cool in a battle.
Hm, I didn't like Demyx. Not because I couldn't beat him, oh no, but because of the opposite. He was too easy. Not to mention that he's about as useless as Shadows. He really didn't DO anything, anyway. He went to the Underworld, ran away when Cerberus was unleashed. Went to Hollow Bastion, and did nothing while the Heartless invaded. He literally just walked around, complaining about everything, and overall just whined. I didn't like him, just lacking so much in personality, and drive, y'know? Hardest boss, though? I hated fighting the Grim Reaper Heartless in Port Royale. So annoying sometimes, really. Xaldin, since everyone seems to have hated fighting him, was easy for me. Beat him my first try, no deaths, no items, Wisdom Form twice, Anti Form once, Fantasia, and Beast limit. Then again, when it came to that dragon thing I did use Reflera, and I was known for being a Reflect Spammer. What can I say, I liked being able to just avoid damage, and send it back. Too easy, and killed too many enemies. Loved it.
Something interesting I found, while browsing around. http://youtube.com/watch?v=_Qu7Oj6P6hc In the descriptions it lists what the Enigmatic Soldier, or Alta/Terra/Larry (as the many names that people term him [especially since Nomura is going with the air, water, ground, and Aqua and Ven take up water and air respectively]) states that all he has left is his hatred for Xehanort. Perhaps this solidifies your theory even more, since the old fart could be Xehanort's true form, and possessed our Enigmatic Soldier. That would explain why Xemnas can double image himself, and each fight so well. Though, the use of Keyblades makes things a little confusing. Perhaps it has mostly to do with the newer looking Xehanort appearing after the war, without any memories. Which leads me to another idea. Castle Oblivion was a place to study memories, and uncover them, right? How odd that an entire castle could be built for Sora, seeing as how he only recently came into possession of the Keyblade. Perhaps Castle Oblivion's true purpose was to serve as Xemnas' path to his memories. A way to get to the memories deep within his heart, by reliving experiences in his past he may not remember. So it could be theorized that where the Room of Sleep was in The World that Never Was, and the Room of Awakening was actually hidden in Castle Oblivion. What happened to the castle afterwards is questionable, but I suppose it's pointless now, right? In any case, I also have sneaking suspicions that the trailer featured isn't a game at all. Remember, Nomura stated that none of the soldiers were Sora, but we also know that Sora's story has to continue. Perhaps the trailer is in fact a movie, a full length pre-story for KH3, which will continue Sora's story, while also using information from KH0. As for Mickey, I'm pretty sure we can assume that Mickey has the magic of longevity, right? I mean, think about the Timeless River. I'm pretty sure that was placed before Keyblades existed, so it's safe to assume that Mickey might actually be hundreds of years old, but like most Disney characters, is still pretty young for his age. I know, it's kind of a cop-out answer, but if this KH0 is a game, then any worlds they use will have to be taken out of KH3, and let's face it, you can only play the same world so many times. This also supports KH0 being a movie more than a game. If it does so happen to be a game, then it more than likely will follow the formula of world-fight-cutscene where more of the past is exposed to the player, and history somewhat repeats itself. Personally I believe the over-shadowing theory. The evil man tries to awaken Kingdom Hearts, only to fail. After ward, since he was defeated and all that, takes over Alta/Terra/Larry's body, in order to try again. But in doing so, his heart and A/T/L's heart clash, and make a new heart, leaving all the memories of both characters behind, thus creating the one we know as Xehanort today. My only head-tilter is the fact that Xemnas looks EXACTLY like he did when he had a heart, and we know he HAD to have one, since Xemnas relates the name Ansem as familiar to him. (In KH and KHFM, when Goofy questions "Ansem?" and Xemnas replies with "Yes..that sounds familiar" and in the end of the fight says "I am but an empty shell) Could it be because the body is already a fusion of two, and thus couldn't change anymore, or did the KH2 production team just not want to give away too many spoilers with a character model that might lead to the story being given away? Personally, I say the second option, but the first could always be plausible. Either way, that's what I'm thinking.
