"Satanists do not believe in the supernatural, in neither God nor the Devil. To the Satanist, he is his own God. Satan is a symbol of Man living as his prideful, carnal nature dictates."
    - Peter H. Gilmore

Welcome stranger, to KHV's resident Satanist grouping. This group is not intended solely for LaVeyan Satanists or Satanists exclusively, but also caters to Atheism and some members of Agnosticism. Be aware that this group caters to Atheistic or Deistic Satanism but not Theistic Satanist groups, such as Luciferianism or Palladists. If you fall into this category, I suggest you make your own group, as you will not feel comfortable in this one.

    The Nine Satanic Statements

Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence

Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams

Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit

Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates

Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek

Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires

Satan represents man as just another animal (sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all fours), who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all.

Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification

Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years

The Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth

Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.

Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.

When in another’s home, show them respect or else do not go there.

If a guest in your home annoys you, treat them cruelly and without mercy.

Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.

Do not take that which does not belong to you, unless it is a burden to the other person and they cry out to be relieved.

Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.

Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.

    Do not harm young children.

Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.

When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask them to stop. If they do not stop, destroy them.

    The Nine Satanic Sins

Stupidity—The top of the list for Satanic Sins. The Cardinal Sin of Satanism. It’s too bad that stupidity isn’t painful. Ignorance is one thing, but our society thrives increasingly on stupidity. It depends on people going along with whatever they are told. The media promotes a cultivated stupidity as a posture that is not only acceptable but laudable. Satanists must learn to see through the tricks and cannot afford to be stupid.

Pretentiousness—Empty posturing can be most irritating and isn’t applying the cardinal rules of Lesser Magic. On equal footing with stupidity for what keeps the money in circulation these days. Everyone’s made to feel like a big shot, whether they can come up with the goods or not.

Solipsism—Can be very dangerous for Satanists. Projecting your reactions, responses and sensibilities onto someone who is probably far less attuned than you are. It is the mistake of expecting people to give you the same consideration, courtesy and respect that you naturally give them. They won’t. Instead, Satanists must strive to apply the dictum of “Do unto others as they do unto you.” It’s work for most of us and requires constant vigilance lest you slip into a comfortable illusion of everyone being like you. As has been said, certain utopias would be ideal in a nation of philosophers, but unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately, from a Machiavellian standpoint) we are far from that point.

Self-deceit—It’s in the “Nine Satanic Statements” but deserves to be repeated here. Another cardinal sin. We must not pay homage to any of the sacred cows presented to us, including the roles we are expected to play ourselves. The only time self-deceit should be entered into is when it’s fun, and with awareness. But then, it’s not self-deceit!

Herd Conformity—That’s obvious from a Satanic stance. It’s all right to conform to a person’s wishes, if it ultimately benefits you. But only fools follow along with the herd, letting an impersonal entity dictate to you. The key is to choose a master wisely instead of being enslaved by the whims of the many.

Lack of Perspective—Again, this one can lead to a lot of pain for a Satanist. You must never lose sight of who and what you are, and what a threat you can be, by your very existence. We are making history right now, every day. Always keep the wider historical and social picture in mind. That is an important key to both Lesser and Greater Magic. See the patterns and fit things together as you want the pieces to fall into place. Do not be swayed by herd constraints—know that you are working on another level entirely from the rest of the world.

Forgetfulness of Past Orthodoxies—Be aware that this is one of the keys to brainwashing people into accepting something new and different, when in reality it’s something that was once widely accepted but is now presented in a new package. We are expected to rave about the genius of the creator and forget the original. This makes for a disposable society.

Counterproductive Pride—That first word is important. Pride is great up to the point you begin to throw out the baby with the bathwater. The rule of Satanism is: if it works for you, great. When it stops working for you, when you’ve painted yourself into a corner and the only way out is to say, I’m sorry, I made a mistake, I wish we could compromise somehow, then do it.

Lack of Aesthetics—This is the physical application of the Balance Factor. Aesthetics is important in Lesser Magic and should be cultivated. It is obvious that no one can collect any money off classical standards of beauty and form most of the time so they are discouraged in a consumer society, but an eye for beauty, for balance, is an essential Satanic tool and must be applied for greatest magical effectiveness. It’s not what’s supposed to be pleasing—it’s what is. Aesthetics is a personal thing, reflective of one’s own nature, but there are universally pleasing and harmonious configurations that should not be denied.

So, whatever your purpose may be here today, I hope you find this grouping educational, insightful, and interesting.

General Response. Ok, so they finished Windows 7 and now they have the update development team on it. What do you think they're going to do next? sit around and watch windows 7? No, They start Developing Windows 8 immediately. Development doesn't mean it's coming out any time soon though, so just because you're on windows 7 now it's not like this is going to be out the door tomorrow. It'll be 2012 or 2013. When you look at OSX's update cycle, this is not surprising. it's a successful business strategy, and Microsoft is a Business.

Well there's large holes in our detection system for meteors as well... That's why I believe it's paramount that we establish self sustaining bases on the Moon and Mars, and begin the process of Terraforming Mars as well, although I don't anticipate that happening in my lifetime. Interestingly enough though, I went to go look at One of my favorite new companies, SpaceX and this month they've announced Falcon Heavy WILL be within Human Safety Standards set by NASA and TLI/TMI (Trans Lunar/Mars Injection) capable, meaning, if they pull this off, Return Missions to the Moon and first steps towards becoming an Interplanetary species will begin, now unhindered by governmental seating changes and restructuring of program plans every eight years. They've also achieved the lowest pound to orbit/cost ratio ever as well, at about $1000 per pound, which sounds like a lot, but comparatively, it's cheap. a 3 man crew and suits would cost less then a million dollars to send up to the station, (not including fuel and other stuff of course, but a whole lot cheaper and more viable then the Space Shuttle Program)

So, if any of you know me well, you know by now that in addition to my obsession with Animation, I'm also a space nut, and believe that Humanity needs to focus more efforts on scientific endeavors then almost any other funding. Yuri Gagarin set out on a 1 hour and 48 minute journey that would change the way we view our planet forever, and setting in motion a new era of exploration, that over 500 men and women have followed in the years since then.

Additionally, This is the 30th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Program, and the last planned year of flights. Ironically, at these two great anniversary's there isn't much to look forward to in the space program at this time. This is the final year of planned space shuttle flights. After this, the Soyuz program will be the only Transportation for Humans going to orbit. Obama has scrapped the Constellation program wasting billions of dollars of work done on ALREADY CONSTRUCTED vehicles and technology, that was only just starting to come to fruition, Ensuring that we will not be returning to the Moon for at least another decade or moving onwards to Mars.

    [IMG] < scrapped

So, as much as this is a celebration, I'd also like us to discuss what the future holds for space, and if you care, help support the future of space travel simply by letting people know what's going on in the news, and prevent it from being cut off entirely.

Judging by the lower case "c" on christianity, you may be able to guess my current stance. Atheist? no. agnostic? yes. unfortunately, over the
past year, and as I'm sure has come to the attention of anyone who reads my posts, I've become quite militant against religion as well. First off,
I'd like to apologize for that. To my fellow agnostics, I'm setting a poor example of ourselves to outsiders. I should be Rational and calm before
entering a discussion about such a topic. However, maybe do to my upbringing and physical location, I've grown accustomed to having to shout and
demonstrate to be heard. Everywhere I go I feel as though I am a second class citizen as soon as my beliefs are mentioned or discovered. I feel like
it's a topic I can never escape. and I also feel like christianity isn't being fair to my opinion. I understand your desire to convert me, and I won't go
into the discussion about that, I realize that's not something I can change, you will continue to Hand your opinion to people who don't want it.
However, I will ask, please don't shove it down there throat when you do.

What I am here for primarily, is something else though. I'm concerned about your double standards. My encounters with members of your faith
generally go ok even when they know I'm not a christian, it's when they find out that I don't believe in any god at all at this time that it bothers
them. About the time I reach this point in a discussion, it's like hitting a brick wall. Suddenly everything I say has zero credibility to them. They'll
talk to you and tell you their personal opinion, but everything you say will go right in one ear and out the other, because they no longer care about
you as an individual. Essentially, if your not going to be easy to convert, they won't make nearly as much attempt to, other then to tell you how
wrong you are repeatedly until you are sick of it. And then hatred sets in. I don't want to hate you guys. I've come to hate your religion. But I don't
hate you. I struggle to show that though. I struggle to not take it out on the person as an individual, knowing it's not them that causes them to act
    this way.

Additionally, even if you are joking, please don't threaten people with bodily harm, or to be dragged off to church, etc. I've received many threats
like this over the years living in the place I do, and sometimes they scare me. Some are very real sounding. I understand many of you haven't felt
what it's like to live in a place where you're constantly persecuted, Americans in particular I know are by majority religious. Please think about what
you say and do, and what you look like to someone in a heightened state of fear about a topic, especially one that's omnipresent and you can't escape
from hearing about on a daily basis.

So, I'd like to ask all of you, what can I do to become more friendly, to tolerate the way I'm treated and realize, it won't always be like this. I won't
always be persecuted and then turn around and retaliate, only to have the persecutor claim to be the persecuted? To agnostics and atheists: What
can I do to stop from becoming what I hate, and to christians, What can you do to stop me from hating you?

Also, vista is an under optimized piece of crap, It's going to choke up whole gig of your RAM, and Norton is a Memory/CPU hog also. in conjunction your probably losing a ton of Performance
