That thing after Xemnas's defeat wasnt anything significant to the plotline i dont think... (Basically it was just there to show how powerful Xemnas is and how he brushed off the damage he had taken like it was practically nothing. Xemnas is awesome like that lol) About the gathering events in KH2fm... That may not be Terra entirely... And to be perfectly honest I cant provide a solid answer to that. Terra and MX are both Xehanort in a way... I think Master Xehanort somehow possesed Terra and when he did this his original body basically became lifeless. Master Xehanorts soul inside Terra's body is what I believe to be the Xehanort that becomes Ansem's apprentice. Terras soul may have been kicked out when Master Xehanorts took over and it could have wandered its way into his Armor which would explain the "Lingering Sentiment." Braig may have also done something when he captured MX to try to obtain the power of the Keyblade by changing his own physical form to MX's or by taking control of MX's body after it becomes lifeless. I consider this possibility because I saw a video series that made me realize that Xigbar looks EXTREMELY Similar to Master Xehanort.
Hello FF gamers! like the topic title says I have recently been considering buying FFIV. The only Final Fantasy game I've actually played and beaten is Final Fantasy 1 (lol) on the gba version. The gba version also comes with Final Fantasy 2, which I played but found WAY too difficult. Please don't ask why I want to buy FFIV... I just do. So my questions Concerning ffIV are these: Is it a good FF game? Does it give save points instead of letting you save anywhere? (I know FFVI does) Is it turn based? Also... Which version of the game should I get?? WII VC version?... (I dont think its on Virtual Console in North America... correct me if Im wrong...), Playstation version from FF Chronicles, GBA version, or the DS version? Can some other people post in this thread to answer my questions please? I want multiple peoples input to help me...
I think MX is Xehanort's heartless. He lost his body (or rather Terra's) before the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 1 (when he was wearing the brown cloak) then he possesed Riku and then somehow managed to reaquire Terra's body after Riku-Xehanort was defeated. How he did this however I am unsure...
Hell guys I don't think Vanitas is going to look like Xion... But since they don't reveal his entire face he VERY LIKELY will look like a character we've already seen... Why else would they hide his face like that? In the most recent trailer It looks like he Defeated aqua after the long battle in the kh2fm secret video... (there's a small clip with Aqua lying on the ground and vanitas looks like he's about to stab her unconscious body towards the end of the trailer.) And with the picture matching from earlier in the thread... I believe now that Vanitas looks like Sora. Maybe not exactly like (I don't see how Sora's spiky hair could fit in that round helmet...) But he probably looks a lot like Sora. Sora does have a lot of people that look like him already doesn't he? Why not add to the list? lol Like someone said before Vanitas may also be some form of replica... Master Xehanort did call him "His mistake" But also... I thought I read somewhere that Vanitas had the same japanese voice actor as Sora... And someone said they thought Vanitas was Sora's dad... O_____O I don't think they'd make someone's dad that young in an E10-T rated game... (This game might wind up being rated T) As far as Master Xehanort = Xehanort and Terra = Xehanort is concerned... I still believe my very old theory that MX possesses Terra's body to become Xehanort. I mean think about it he does the SAME THING to Riku doesn't he? He controls Riku's body with his soul... If this is the game thats going to be coming out before KH3 I think that the soul & possession has to be involved in some way. Maybe Terra becomes one of the "lost souls" Ansem mentions at the end of the newest trailer after he is possesed. And in the most recent interview keep in mind. Nomura told us to be keeping more of an eye on Master Xehanort and Braig.
I vaguely recall it being in an interview with Nomura like this one although im definitely not sure. But if it didnt have anything to do with the difficulty what did it have to do with?

That wouldnt make much sense... How could a 4 year old Sora be more difficult to beat than LS?!?!?? XDDDD And @ Mish... This is a Japanese magazine so maybe hes only addressing to the people in japan... Final mix 2 wasnt released in US because it Was too "HARD" So why would they release an even harder boss in the US?
Interesting that Ansem mentioned souls in his statement there... I HAVE to urge my best friend to find his psp so he can get this! WTF?!!?!? Harder than Lingering Sentiment?!?!?! O_______O O... M... G... Something tells me that might be japanese version exclusive... I mean KH1 Xemnas and Lingering Sentiment were two of the hardest optional bosses and they were only in the final mix releases... And the people who made this game said that the reason why they didnt release KH2FM was because they thought it would be too hard for Americans....... So Im not gonna get my hopes too high about that optional boss... Yes well have to all keep an eye on Braig... And why did Nomura laugh when he said the story was sad??? O____O That kinda seems like a smack in the face to hardcore kh fans...

Okay I just found out how the phantom looks in KHFM And the first thing I thought was JOLY CRAP IT LOOKS LIKE A NOBODY The color scheme is very nobody like and overall it resembles Spoiler The final Xemnas boss in KH2 But the phantom is... weird and Although it is a heartless it seems to exhibit characteristics of both nobodies (lacks physical essence and in a sense doesnt exist,new color scheme) and heartless (The emblem on its back, the ability to curse a person and steal their heart) while at the same time exhibiting characteristics of neither a heartless or nobody (It has a heart). Is this just a coincidence or maybe did they change the Phantom in FM to be more nobody-like?
Go to a bunch of different areas in KH2 and defeat heartless (pureblood and emblem). Unless your game is screwed up you should notice that pink hearts fly out of all emblem heartless and nothing comes out of pureblood heartless; purebloods simply melt into blackness. Also Daxma I'm pretty sure Axel didnt ALWAYS see Xion with her hood up.
If you go into more detail you'll also notice that her hood is down whenever people she doesn't know well are in the cameras view. When its just her and Roxas after they became good friends you see her face. Also I read a post earlier on this thread that said heartless only release hearts when killed by a keyblade. Thats false. It doesn't have anything to do with what the heartless is destroyed with; it has to do with the type of heartless. Only machine created emblem heartless can release hearts. Pureblood heartless do not release hearts.
Well... It has 2 cameras... (but thats just stupid imo) The truly important thing is the addition of an sd card slot (like the wii) It can create tons of new possibilities for the DS.
Well I think they're definitely going to make Kh3 for 3 reasons. 1. Kingdom Hearts has alot of paying fans (duh). And many of these fans are expecting a sequel. 2. As Misty said the cliffhanger at the end of KH2 is probably the biggest reason. 3. There still needs to be a soul-based enemy

Meh the beta logo wasn't that ugly IMO. But I did like the quote Riku said... "That's right Sora. Your body. Your soul. They're all going to disappear!" OMG EPIC Thats probably the ONLY reference to the soul in anything KH1 related that I can think of........ And technically Soras body and soul would be his nobody....
