Right we have no idea where it came from. Unless it was explained in Chain of Memories since Riku can return to that form. It could very well be that he cloaks himself in darkness to increase his power.

Does he have to be possessed? I mean Riku got that suit before he was possessed by Xehanhort's Heartless. But there still must be a connection of some sort. Darkness is a common factor in both cases but where does said suit come from?
Not that I know of.... I've only been a member there for a year and when I joined the trailer and basic info about the game had already been released. As long as I've been a member he's been refered to as Master Xehanhort. I know he was called the Dark mage a while back, but I've never heard him called "Aero". Why do you ask?

Ultimania a collection of information about 358/2 and other KH related information. Which would make sense, Mickey has a easily recognited voice and by letting him being revealed so easily would kind of ruin the mystery. If you also notice none of Mickey's letters are read just like the voice's lines. Mickey was also able to talk to Riku throught his heart in CoM so I've suspected this was true for some time.

Well Sora was known by the Organization, mainly Marluxia, as the Keyblade's hero. I guess Marluxia underestimated the power of Sora's heart and realized it's strength the hard way. A hero is one who fights for others they care about no matter the odds. Sora wasn't just fighting for himself he fought for Namine, Replica Riku and everyone else. That powered Sora to go on and defeat Marluxia. In KH1 during Sora's awakening the voice, who we now know to have been Mickey, said "You hold the greatest weapon of all". It wasn't refering to the keyblade, but his heart.
It's possible, but with the release of 358/2 days the term replica became aliitle bit more complicated. Which is a copy of the one Riku had. How Riku got this suit must be a clue to what the Dark Soldier is. Riku got the suit before being taken over by Xehanhort's heartless so another factor was at work. Not necessarily
It's the Mickey symbol and comes down to a point. It kind of looks likes like an elongated heart. It might just be a coincidence.

Make it the way it was promised in this pic before KH2 came out. With two Behemoth Heartless, the normal heartless and Wyverns circling above. Just imagine the reactions in that fight
That may not be Terra under that armor, But personally I still think Terra does become Xehanhort, but more evidence needs to be found.
Heartless didn't existed during BBS. So I'm going to say no. If they could, why fear the keyblade then?
Or they were allowed to be swallowed by darkness and not processed by the heartless machine. It's been said in 358/2 days that the Organization only wanted emblem heartless killed by the keyblade to go to the Kingdom Hearts. Marluxia explains this to Roxas on one of his first days in the Organization.
The gathering of hearts collected by the heartless. How or why the heartless do this is unknown. It may or not be. Right now theres too little info. Ineteresting enough. The Kingdom Hearts is blue just like the hearts Ansem The Wise has in his office. Hint....Hint It kinda was. Xemnas artifical created this Kingdom Hearts. And unlike the one in KH1 it's only made up of the hearts of Emblem heartless.
Right, The battle it's self isn't Canon (Having nothing to do with the plot) but the words whoever says it are Canon. If that makes sense. It all indicates Sora wasn't chosen by someone to have something. It's assumed to be the Keyblade by many.
Yes, but an extermely special one. Basically 358/2 Days says no Not necessarily, One member of SRK is said not to have a connection with a member of VAT. It's assumed to be Kairi since she doesn't have a keyblade.
