Well he didn't become technically a heartless, but Xehanhort willing gave his body to darkness, and returned only as a heart. He unlike other heartless kept his memories and image of his self. Because he cast his body to darkness and was only a heart he couldn't produce a body like normal heartless. Years later he took over Riku's body and took a form similar to his old one. Not two humans, just the parts of life of one human (Soul, body, heart) acting on their own Xehanhort's heartless - Xehanhort's heart Xemnas- Xehanhort's body and soul

Mickey left in KH1 to get the Dark realm keyblade He never met DiZ until CoM, but didn't recognize him as ATW, but trusted him. Well considering Xehanhort exists and so do the heartless this conversation happened after BBS and before KH1. And since ATW is still King this can't be during KH1.

Also the Ansem Reports make it sound like they had never met before Now if you have met someone before would you refer to them in this manner? The flashback Mickey had of when he first met ATW. He didn't talk to him like he knew him before.

Well we know a man appears very injuried and the only thing he can remember is the name Xehanhort on ATW's door step. And since the battle we saw between VAT and Master Xehanhort is near the end of that game, someone in that fight must be come Xehanhort. And appear in hollow bastion. But Roxas isn't a normal nobody, he's very special. But I doubt they're the exact same, I have a feeling Sora's nobody was altered by an outside force.
