Kid Flash didn't even hear what White Light had said to him; by the time Red Robin had finished telling him to leave, he turned right around and did just that. "Gotham's my turf," he grumbled, mocking what Red Robin had said. "Go do your thing, Rob." But he wasn't really angry with his friend, more like insulted. As he was trying to understand where Red Robin was coming from, he heard someone call out to him. "Kid Flash! Wait! Please help!" He stopped quickly enough to only have to backtrack a couple of feet to get to the girl who'd called to him. "Hey there, beautiful. If it's mouth-to-mouth you need, I'm all for it."
Me too. I'm starting to like her.
Long is good! I've finally figuring out what to do with Wally. >> I was really struck off guard by Red Robin's attitude toward KF -- and I mean...
Caleigh kept up with Legas easily. "You always whisk women away like that?" She was glad to be away from Reno and Aveline but she would have liked to have done so without destroying the bar so much; it was her favorite. For a moment she thought of leading Legas back to her place, but deciding against it. He probably knew where he was going anyway.
I know that's Ultimate's Spidey. That's my Spidey. <3 They showed some really amazing Spider-Man (pun totally intended) footage at ComicCon. The crowd had their mind blown at the acting (by everyone and not just Andrew), but was upset that they didn't get to see the Lizard. (I would have been too!) It's been specifically said that they showed a clip of Peter asking out Gwen and the crowd had all kinds of positive reactions (from sympathetic aws to enthusiastic yeahs). I died a little more for not being there to see it.
Yes, there are many different Peter Parkers/Spider-Mans, so that does make it a little confusing and a little more difficult for people to find "their Peter". And another will soon be joining the ranks, but that topic is for a different thread. I really and truly believe that Andrew Garfield is the perfect Peter. Not just because of how he looks or how good of an actor he is, but because of the immense amount of love and dedication he has for the Spidey legacy. And even though he said, “I needed Spider-Man in my life as a kid and he gave me hope," he constantly refers to Peter Parker as being an every-man and a character that belongs to every person out there. Even though he loves Spider-Man so much, he's not just doing this to live out a geeky fanboy dream (as I first thought), he'd doing this for the fans just like him.
For the love of--- D< THIS is the comic book Peter Parker. The one I fell in love with. The one that Andrew is amazing similar to. Get over it. THIS is the cartoon Peter Parker. The one that when I first saw I thought, "When the hell did Peter get so fricking buff??"
"Oh, um..." Ben was partially wondering why the Hufflepuff boy was still talking to them. Was he really going to keep an eye on them? But maybe it'd be helpful for their group to have an upperclassmen on their side. They were more versed in magic and stuff so they'd be able to help out the first years. Taking a deep breath, Ben confessed, "We're trying to find some information on the Chamber of Secrets."
Al laughed and rolled her eyes, punching Jay's arm. "Fine. Just don't... blow anything up." As Head Girl, she'd made it her responsibility to know which students were trouble makers, like Jack, and which students just caused accidents, like Jay. She smiled at the two first years and gave them a little good-bye wave. They seemed to just be researching for a class essay; she remembered when she had to write a length of five pieces of parchment for Potions in her third year. Poor kids are probably freaking out over their first long essay. Ben nodded to Layla. Maybe it would be best if they could avoid attention from their upperclassmen for now. Then again, this boy seemed nice; he did get them out of a dangerous situation with Hufflepuff's Head Girl. I need to learn her name. Ben mused.
Just found this. If you don't want to know too much about the plot (haven't read the comics) then I suggest you don't read it. While I knew most of information here already, there was something that struck me a little: "Parker isn't a simple nerd but has a punk and sarcastic attitude; his Spider-Man is cocky and mischievous." I don't know how I feel about this yet. I love Peter because he is "a simple nerd." We all know that Spider-Man is definitely "sarcastic" and "cocky and mischievous;" so I'm glad about that -- it makes me think that we'll get to see some of Spidey's quips and smart-talk in fights. But my trust is still with the cast and crew of this movie. (:

It’s been over a hundred years since Harry’s children left Hogwarts, and the school has remained a peaceful learning place. New students flood the school every year, but some of the rules have changed at the school. Students still need to be eleven years old to enter the school as a first year, but they can also enroll or be invited to Hogwarts as a first year if they are older than eleven. Half-way through their school year, their fellow classmates and upperclassmen start vanishing without a word. Ben was about to ask Layla how pairs would be faster when he heard someone speak behind him. He turned around and saw a Hufflepuff boy who must have been a sixth or seventh year. He didn't look like he was out to get the group of first years into trouble, but Ben still cringed. "W-we were just..." He struggled to come up with some excuse. "Careful," Al walked up next to Jay, having followed him into the library to scold him for bringing food in. "Someone might think you're up to something." She winked at Ben and Layla. Ben bit his tongue. He was pretty sure that this new Hufflepuff was the House's Head Girl. Would she get him in trouble if she knew what he and his friends were doing? He looked nervously to Layla. Should they ditch their plans for now and come back before or after dinner? "And you," Al turned on Jay, frowning, arms crossed. "Why are you eating in here?"
Approved, my bestestestest friend ever! 8D (Props to Hufflepuff!! Now Al can have INTERACTION...)
Whoo! I'm excited for this! Hufflepuff still needs characters though.... T~T
Ben grinned as his friends started to gather around. Some their lunch hour had passed already but if they didn't find what they were looking for now, they could try again after classes. "Alright! We've only got one hour so I think we should split up so we can get more books."
