Marlene's hand flicked, sending the chain flying at Bellatrix, a dagger at the end aimed for her back...
OOC: .................... BIC: Xardius shook his head. "How are you still alive?" Tera Roth smiled. "Actually, this kind of hurts, so could you move your swords, please?" Xardius and Dyran both took back their swords, Dyran's black form slowly dissolving back into normality. "Well, I did die," Tera Roth said, "and my body was lost in the light pool. Dyran found me using that form you just saw. It's nearly impervious to light, but he still suffered burns from it. Scourge used his Phoenix power to revive me." "But I can't really talk now," Tera Roth said, turning. "I'm not exactly completely revived yet. I only have limited mobility for about fifteen minutes. It'll take another few hours for me to achieve full capacity." "You shouldn't have been able to catch my blade," Xardius said after a moment. "How?" "Everyone has their secrets," Tera Roth said as he walked back into the building. "Mine are mine." The door shut behind him. Dyran shrugged. "If he wanted to come out, I guess it's okay. But no one is going inside without his permission..." Xardius shook his head. "Whatever. I'm meeting up with Wing...Geez..." Xardius stalked off.
OOC: I guess that works...Except not. I still can't really do anything... You know, I wasn't going to bring Tera Roth back, but I needed him to be alive for some other stuff, so he's alive again, and NO ONE CARES! I'm going to start pouting... BIC: Enigma stared at what was left of Kardas. "Well, that's interesting. It looks like he was ripped apart." Enigma looked around. "It's too bad you're not still alive so you can tell me whether I was correct in my hypothesis." Enigma shrugged. "I suppose I'll found out some other time..." Enigma opened another portal and stepped through...
Hey, I'm online again. Let's RP.
OOC: OK, I'm back, didn't take as long as I thought I would. Someone post about Tera Roth being alive. AND NOT POCKETMAN DID THE WHATEVER.
Enigma stared at Ravakov. "I thank you." His smile broadened slightly. "Until my time comes then, I'll ask that you simply resume to your next post on the 4th floor." Enigma bowed slightly to Ravakov, and opened another portal. He paused. "Try not to die, Ravakov," Enigma smiled. "I like you a little bit, so it would make me a little sad..." Enigma bowed again, and stepped through the portal. OOC: Gotta go for the evening. Tomorrow, we start the castle gauntlet...
Enigma was silent for a moment, frowning. "What are you going to do about it then?" Enigma asked finally. "Why are you even telling me? I was one of the ones who was supposed to be...eliminated in the war, right?"
Enigma looked annoyed, but also considering. "Well, I never claimed to be omnipotent or omniscient. I'm simply a man who's doing the best he can..." Enigma seemed to relax, a lazy smile on his lips, but his eyes were as sharp as daggers as he looked at Ravakov. "Tell me, Ravakov, who are they and what do they want? And perhaps most importantly, what do you want, bringing them up like this so suddenly?"
OOC: You're a moron. BIC: Enigma looked at Ravakov for a few moments. "I'm not interested," he said after a moment or two. "If they ever become prevalent, I'll become interested." He smiled. "Though I'm not sure that's what anyone really wants..." *** Marlene leaned against the building, idly twirling her chains. "So you're the goddess of the Ultimate Organization, I guess?" Catching her chains, she pointed at Bellatrix. "Do you mind if I rearrange your face? It's annoying me..."
Well, whenever. I won't be on late tonight, though. And thanks!
OOC: Epic Brotherhood Battle Part 2. BIC: "What in the world is this?" Xardius asked, raising his sword. "I've never seen something like that before..." "Of course not," Dyran said, his voice gravelly. "Me and Tera Roth both share the unique ability of both light and darkness. This is the ultimate form of our darkness." "Never say ultimate unless you mean it," Xardius said shaking his head. "Show me what you got..." SHUNK Xardius lowered his head. "What?" Dyran said. "Didn't you see that?" Blood sprayed from Xardius' chest, where a fist-sized hole resided where his heart had been. "Wha...?" Xardius blurted, blood dribbling from his mouth and nose. Dyran raised a bloody fist. "You're dead, Lionheart." "What the heck do you think you are?" Xardius finished, wiping his mouth. "You think you could just kill me...?" Xardius raised his sword. "You think I need a heart to survive?" Dyran's eyes widened. "What are you...?" Xardius smiled as the wound on his chest began to close. "I'm indestructible." Dyran barely caught the swing as Xardius lashed down. "Fast..." Dyran grunted. "You're as fast as I am..." "Just wanted to show you," Xardius grinned. "It looks like that darkness is a protective layer. But I'll bet it's just like the Virus. Dark begets dark." Xardius' sword edge began glowing dark. "So I can cut you like this..." Back and forth they danced, both moving nearly three times as fast, Dyran and Xardius both spraying darkness from their swords and bodies. It was fast, it was brilliant, it was beautiful, and it was over all too soon. Xardius and Dyran both swung as one, Dyran upwards at Xardius' waist, Xardius' swinging down at Dyran's neck... PLUNK Xardius' eyes bulged. "What!?" Dyran shook his head. "No..." Tera Roth's hands clenched harder on both men's swords. "Now, now, you two," Tera Roth smiled. "Play nice." *** EDIT: Enigma raised an eyebrow. "Never..."
OOC: Next epic Brotherhood battle. Part 1. BIC: Insults aside, Xardius and Dyran took the time to stare each other down. "You know, I wondered if someone who looked like Tera Roth could really fight like him," Xardius said after a moment. "Will I get to find out?" "Are you growing senile?" Dyran asked, as the two began to circle one another. "Talking to yourself are you?" Xardius sneered. "Is that the best you can do? Honestly, having one's own brother be the enemy. It must really stink." Dyran smiled tightly. "I wouldn't be here if you'd kept him alive, but what were you doing while he was fighting? Playing with your power perhaps?" Xardius' gaze turned murderous. "That's enough talk. Now I'm gonna cut you up." Xardius swept his sword out at the same time as Dyran, the two smashing together, dancing back and forth like a pair of long-forgotten samurai. Attack, defend, riposte, spin, kick, etc. They broke, both breathing heavily. "You're a little slower, but just as skilled," Xardius grinned. "You do your brother justice..." "Don't talk if you're out of breath!" Dyran yelled, running forward to clash once more. This time, though, Xardius managed to break through Dyran's defense. Dyran reeled back as Xardius sliced him from right hip to left shoulder, hitting a building with a loud cry. Xardius looked guilty. "I thought you'd block that..." "Why do you look like that?" Dyran panted. "...Is it because you didn't really want to cut someone who looks like your old friend?" Xardius' frown deepened as Dyran continued. "I knew you were strong, Lionheart, I knew you were good," Dyran said as his life blood slopped onto the ground messily. "I accepted the consequences of playing with fire when I drew my sword. I knew I'd get burned." He raised his head. "So stop looking like that! Where's your rage!?" Xardius shook his head. "Jeez...you're so stupid..." Dyran coughed blood. "This wound is going to kill me..." "So shut up," Xardius said, flicking his sword onto his shoulder. "You'll only die faster if you talk." Dyran coughed again. "It's time for me to go to the extreme...I'll embrace the other side." His blood darkened and began covering his body. "What the...?" Xardius mumbled, stepping back. Dyran smiled as his blood turned pitch black and covered his entire body. "Now I'm going to cut you in half..."
"It doesn't concern them," Dyran growled. "Go in if you want, but I'm not letting them inside." "Is that right?" Xardius asked, trotting up. "What's inside there, DD?" Dyran's eyes narrowed. "None of your business, Turdius?" Xardius' nostrils flared. "I'll kick your butt, pretty boy." "Come and try, fly swatter," Dyran said, gesturing with his fingers. "I'll swat you!" Xardius glared, grabbing his sword hilt... OOC: I love those insults. They're wonderful. And Xardius totally ignored Xane it seems...
OOC: Then he's not going to be in it...*BLAH* And of course, it pretty much seems like Enigma's a bad guy now...or is he? We don't even really know what his powers are.....................I think I'm scared. BIC: Dyran Dirge turned. "Your friends are coming. But I didn't offer this to them...Go inside." *** Xardius' eyes narrowed. "Isn't that that Dyran fellow?" Xardius began walking faster. "What's he doing with Alyt?"
OOC: Nulix, you got an Ecko pic for my sig? And you might have missed Wirdikov not really being dead... :P BIC: Xardius kept walking. Then he stopped, confused. "There's something wrong, Xane. Although this road seems to be going straight, we're heading somewhere to the left...Towards that small building...Is that Alyt?" OOC: Yes, we can continue with Alyt now...
"Actually," Enigma said, stepping out of a portal and closing his cell phone. "It's acting leader of the Brotherhood, second only to Scourge himself. But you probably didn't know that, so I'll forgive you." Enigma sighed, and pressed two fingers to Ravakov's temple. Ravakov's eyes blinked open. "I'll drop you off," Enigma said as he helped Ravakov to his feet. "I have to check on Kardas, who's near there anyway."
OOC: Sorry, had to do some chores. BIC: Xardius slid down the other side, and kept walking. *** Wirdikov sat reading War of the Worlds with interest. Scourge nudged him with a shoe, and Wirdikov looked up. "Yes, what is it?" Wirdikov asked. "You should get out of here," Scourge muttered. "They got rid of your double." Wirdikov placed a bookmark in his book. "Very well. I wish I could stay and fight but...It's time for the old characters to go and disappear." "Skinnar took your double's body," Scourge said. "I'm not sure what he's planning with it." "I had you use my blood for a purpose," Wirdikov said. "There's no way they could really beat me in their state, so I gave them the chance to beat me otherwise..." Scourge shook his head. "You're not a nice person, you know that?" "Coming from you that seems nostalgic," Wirdikov smiled. "It's been surprisingly nice knowing you, Rune." Scourge waved a hand. "Whatever..." Wirdikov smiled and opened a portal. "Die well, my friend." As the portal closed behind Wirdikov, Scourge began laughing, his eyes blazing golden red.
OOC: Xane, what character best personifies Raijin? I'm trying to do a Brotherhood sig, but I don't know what Ecko or Raijin looks like... BIC: Xardius sighed. "Well, let's see: I think that the castle is that way." He pointed. "Behind that really tall pile of junk that's blocking our view..." He walked over to it, and climbed up on it. "Hey, I see Wing..." He waved. "WING! Hmm, guess he can't hear me. OK, Xane, after we get over this, we only have about a mile or so of straight path to where Wing is!"
Xardius sighed. "Xane, where are we going? I can't even see the castle anymore..." *** The sound of chains clanging on the ground echoed behind Bellatrix...
I'm here tonight, tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday pretty much all day. The trick is when I check in if you're there or not...or vice versa....
