Trent smiled. "Very well." Crouching down, he sprang upwards onto the balls of his feet, his hands coming together into a V shape, with the fingers spread at the tips of the V. With deft precision, he caught Xane's chop and flipped Xane over his head to collide with one of the arena walls. "Dragoon, right?" Trent smirked. "I told you, boy, I know it all..." Trent spat. "Stupid kid. If that's you getting serious, this won't be very fun..."
Trent sidestepped the blow, bringing his left fist upwards into Xane's path, aiming for his stomach.
Trent rolled forward nimbly, coming to his feet and turning back to Xane, ready for his next attack.
Trent changed the swing of his right arm to grab Xane's left arm, using the momentum to dislodge Xane's balance, then swept his right leg out behind him and brought it sweeping forward to take out Xane's legs.
Trent rushed forward, slamming his right fist downward as he simultaneously spun his left leg upward, to perform a scissor movement.
Trent smiled. "Then enter. I have waited nearly twenty years to fight someone like you, boy. Someone who has mastered the arts, as I have. Someone who I can truly..." Trent flipped backwards, landing on the arena wall a few meters away. "Unleash all my strength upon. Are you ready, boy?" Trent laughed, leaping again to land in the center of the arena. "I shall crush you with all the joy I hold in my body!"
Trent dropped down to the ground by Xane. "Well, not technically. You see, the last time we fought, I was just an illusion provided by Azull." He gestured. "Have you ever fought in an arena, boy?"
The others all went down their respective paths... OOC: All my characters at least... BIC: Xardius was grumbling to himself when he entered a courtyard. "Another one?" he asked himself. "Who's in here...?" *** Meanwhile, Xane's path took him by an arena... "Look who made it," a voice laughed at him.
OOC: Sorry bout that... BIC: Xardius shook his head. "Look just a little ways down...the paths split into more and more parts...we'll have to do this single-handed." "As for Skinnar," Xardius said. "I dunno what we're going to do with him." "Allow us to be of assistance," Tyre said as he and Highwind appeared out of a portal. "We found out you were here through some crazy tech stuff, and Highwind here will be happy to take Skinnar for a little jaunt through the maze." Highwind opened his cell phone, and pressed a button. A small projection appeared, a map of the maze. "As you can see, the maze looks messy," Tyre said, "but all the routes eventually lead to the main ruins." "Then why don't we just choose one?" Xardius grumbled, turning for one. "Because your goal isn't just to kill Scourge, is it?" Tyre asked. "If even one member survives to point a finger at you, you're, put bluntly, screwed. You'll have to catch all of them." "Dang it," Xardius muttered. "We have to split up."
Xardius finally appeared. "Ah, Wing, Bellatrix, you're both here! I'm glad you're okay, Wing, and Bellatrix, it's really good to see you." He clapped his hands. "For some reason, that throw energized me, so let's sidle around this ectoplasm dude, and get into that maze!" OOC: Yeah, that's not Xardius...What have you done with him, you fiend!? BIC: Xardius walked to the maze and turned in a semi-circle. Grunting, he sighed. "There's too many paths..." he muttered. "I don't know which one leads to the main ruins. We'll probably have to split up. Does anyone have a problem doing that?"
OOC: Yippee, the gang's all here!
