What about the Keybladers' special moves/attacks/abilities?
OOC : Since Pezz says he'll be absent, and my character was just about to engage in a long conversation with him, I'll change my plans a little. Trenyan, with his wolf next to him, could see the Shaper. He seemed to have been using his Shaper skills, because he was creating... cannonballs? Or were they shields? Or maybe he wanted to construct a machine of some sorts? Whatever he was doing, he took a few minutes to observe, barely hidden by the crowd. The Shaper seemed busy enough not to notice him, or at least that's what Trenyan thought. He could just as well pretend not to notice the crossbreed and his unusual pet. However, what Trenyan didn't know, was that anyone looking for the Shaper could also see him, and wonder why he was just standing there...
OOC : Soon moving my character out of Triwn, because all the main characters seem to converge in that random spot :D BIC : Trenyan had been supervising the evacuation of the town. A lot of people were already on their way. The only reason Trenyan lingered to help them was because he had nothing to do, but keep searching for Cylians, or people that knew something. "I might never find any Cylian who knows about the past crimes commited against my people... but I'll never forgive myself if I never tried to find anyone. He did meet a few Cylians while supervising the evacuation, but had no time to talk with them. What was difficult was to enter the subject. Evne after years of practice, Trenyan had no efficient strategy of going into details. He could not just say "Excuse me, but I'm wondering if you or your ancestors tried to exterminate my people. Wanna talk about it?" More subtle methods were needed, and many smart and alert Cylians notice Trenyan's acting strange. And few Cylians aren't smart. "I'm done here. If the Lizards attack again, so be it, I've helped out enough already. I'm not here to be a hero. Now, why would he call me to Ilianam... this will take entire days of walking..." But Trenyan soon discovered he won't need to walk. He heard rapid, light footsteps... "No way", he muttered to himself. "Hm. Always the same, unannounced and when I least expect it..." He turned around, but his pet was faster, and he was soon on the ground, his wolf on him, overjoyed to see him again. "Flame Burst! Hey boy! You run even faster than before!" Flame Burst was the son of Trenyan's first wolf. Whatever kind of wolf is, it proved very strong, and Trenyan sometimes uses him for transportation. The animal is smaller than a horse, and not as well-suited for carrying people on its back ; this meant that whatever the reasons Trenyan needed to leave, it was important. Otherwise, his friend wouldn't have sent Flame Burst. "Ok, Flame, I leave soon. I just have one little matter to take care of, once and for all." Trenyan, with his pet wolf walking beside him, finally went to speak with the Shaper, this time more seriously. After a few minutes of searching, he found him, alone, and approached him. OOC : I should get to sleep now... gotta leave early tomorrow.
Trenyan didn't like the numebr of things going on at once. After reading the letter he received from the boy, things only got worse. The message was from an old friend of his, requesting his immediate presence in the Ilianam kingdom. No reason was given, except "that it was a good one". "Great. I guess I'll leave at noon. I have to talk with that Shaper... how many times have I said that already... ok, but first helping the people evacuate.".
"That would explain your fighting skills.", said Trenyan. He was thinking waht to say next, but he suddenyl realised something. "That doesn't explain, however, where your money comes from. I've seen your little show at the inn, last night. Listen, I don't know who you are, and I barely care to know. What I need is a little information. You definitely look like someone who knows things." The noise of the crowd came to Trenyan's ears, whose shape was a mix between a Cylian's and a Wolf's ears. He was dissapointed. "Unfortunately, we can't talk right now. We've got a village whose evacuation must be overseen... well, at least that's what I'll do."
"A... sacrifice. Hm. Yeah, right. You do realise this village is completely defenseless, save for those improvised warriors? And that all villages nearby are just as defenseless? If we don't spread the news, it's gonna be more than just a few horses that'll be wasted! That's more than my heart acting. That's my logic, too." Trenyan went silent for a brief second. "And you mention war. War, war, and war again. As far as I know, this was just an unfortunate raid. Sure that the Lizards attacked several times, but many raiders strike back, when the townspeople celebrate their victory. Why so wuick to say there's a war going? What do you know that we do not?"
Get messagers, and send a group to each nearby town! , said Trenyan. They'll never want to leave their homes! responded the mayor. When they hear that you did, perhaps they will too. And when teh Lizards strike once more, surely they'll understand. Waste no time! As the people started moving, and the mayor sent orders, Trenyan was suddenly approached by a young boy. The boy handed him a letter, then tried to leave. Wait! Who gave you this?, asekd Trenyan. But the boy ignored him. Trenyan wanted to follow, but the boy was engulfed by the crowd. He was about to read the message, but he suddenly remembered. The Shaper! The crowd was already moving. Trenyan went to find the Shaper he'd been searching.
The crowd's complaints were loud. Seizing the opportunity, Trenyan stepped through the people, and arrived at the center of the crowd, where stood only the Shaper. This man is right., he said. Your village is jsut that ; a village. You hav eno defensive structures, nothing. I've been with your people as we fought off the Lizard Clan. You barely have weapons. If you stay here, the next attack might well wipe you out. While saying this, Trenyan shot glances at the Shaper. He hoped to get a conversation with him later.
I invited FinalForm32, for the moment. Hm... one thing that can be a problem, is that people are less likely to join once the RP becomes...
OOC : And I thought I went to sleep late at night! I went to sleep at 1 AM, which was still a bit "early", because I've been away for half the day today... man, you people are inspired. I've missed the end of the battle :( BIC : Trenyan had awoken. He had spent the night in the house of a farmer, who had been taking care of several human soldiers. The battle was won, and Trenyan's wounds were bandaged. Many more Lizards than I have expected... for a moment, I thought I was defending my old village again. He suddenly remembered the odds things he saw last night. Odd things indeed. A human Shaping Lineve, an archer that looked disturbingly like himself, what looked like a "different" human... and a Cylian. You have GOT to be kididng me. This random fishing village sure is a hotspot in this kingdom. I could barely find any Cylians in the past few days, and now I see four... interesting people. , thought Trenyan. Compared to the humans still sleeping next to him, Trenyan was in good shape. He remembered his resolution to find the man he now knew was a Shaper. But if he could find the Cylian or the archer, it might be just as helpful. He started searching the nearby farms, as the sun was rising in the sky.
"The battle is calming", thought Trenyan. What he heard from the humans pointed out that most Lizards have already been repelled. In fact, some of the attacked farms were already safe, filled with wounded soldiers whom the farmers were taking care of. "So we're almost done". Trenyan could feel the effects of fatigue, but he still had a lot more in him. He had been injured a few times, but he had seen worse. While the human reports said the battle was nearly won, the battle around Trenyan was almost is intense as when he came. Blood was sprayed all over the trees, bushes, and grass. A Lizard, running towards a human near Trenyan, met his demise by slipping on the blood-soaked grass, before being overwhelmed by the angry humans. As even more Lizards came, seemingly out of nowhere, Trenyan could only hold on to his sword tightly, and help the humans cut through the Lizards' ranks.
Oh, and the RP is fine till now. I'm surprised how fast it grows.

Also, a few of the text is understandable. Abbreviations are kept as is. So you'll see "HP", "MP", etc. Numbers are kept too, so you'll see "50%", etc. This greatly helps to know what's what. "DRIVE" is also kept. Synthing may look difficult, but because of the pictures, it's actually easy to get the hang of it. You know everything: what you need it for, what it does, etc. I recommend you, if you get the game, to memorize a few symbols. I memorised the last symbol of "Shard", "Stone", "Gem", and "Crystal", which makes Synthing as easy as in English. If only KH1FM was as easy... there aren't images, etc... and barely any guides.
OOC : Trying my hand at fighting scenes : BIC : As the humans got closer to the fires, the sounds of men fighting and lizards growling became more distinct. Trenyan continued to run, when he suddenly found himself face to face with a Lizard. Obviously he had misjudged the distance between him and the battle. He was surrounded by humans and Lizards doing battle. The Lizard tried to tackle Trenyan as he stopped running. He crouched and lunged at the lizard's feet, making the creature fall forward, on its face. With sword in hand, Trenyan spun and slashed the downed Lizard several times. Hearing an approaching growl behind him, Trenyan spun again, slashing the monster's face. There were several Lizards in front of him. "Come closer..." slowly said Trenyan, and the Lizard Clanners lunged at him. Prepared, he lifted his sword, and while swinging it, instantly used his his Mold powers to turn it into a long, large ice sword. When the sword hit the Lizards, it was a huge weapon, and it threw all of the Lizards aside. However, the impact wasn't extremely strong, and the Lizards got up. Trenyan slashed with his sword once more, and a few seconds later, he had defeated the Lizards. "They aren't the strongest ones their race has to offer. Just who are they, exaclty?" Thinking isn't something one can truly afford on the battlefield, and Trenyan realised this when he heard another growl coming closer from the side. He reacted, but was too late to stop the Lizard from tackling him. They both fell down, the Lizard on top of him. "Argh, you'll regret this!" grunted Trenyan. The Lizard's head raised, and attempted to bite Trenyan's head. The crossbreed's right arm wasn't pressured, however, and he blocked the Lizard's mouth by holding his sword in front of his face. The Lizard bit the wing-shaped sword, its mouth closing on it by surpirse. Then Trenyan took his sword out of the Lizard's mouth, by pulling it aside, severely slashing the Lizard's mouth. With its opponent in pain, Trenyan could push him off of him, and get up. But so did the Lizard, who growled, revealing his now-bloodied teeth. "That's enough!" Shouted Trenyan, and he rushed towards his enemy. He attempted to slash to monster's neck from right to left. His horizontal slash missed, however, as the Lizard Clanner sidestepped in the opposite direction, to Trenyan's right. Realising this, Trenyan used his Mold powers to materialise an ice Wing Sword in his left hand. With the inertia from his initial horizontal strike, he kept turning, and did a full spin, his left-handed ice blade hitting the Lizard. The five teeth of the Wing Sword left five very close blood trails on the Lizard's skin, and the monster fell down, motionless. The battle was still raging, and more Lizards were coming Trenyan's way. One was right in front of him... but stopped dead in its tracks. Trenyan realised a nearby human had impaled the creature with a pitchfork. "Untrained and barely armed", thought Trenyan "... but my allies nonetheless". With more humans at its side, and holding both a metal and ice Wing Sword, Trenyan jumped into the Lizards in front of him, fighting fiercely.
I'm in Canada, lol. At least we now know the odds that someone respons to our posts, huh? Well, we started an RP, but that doens't mean we must stop with the Desouls. So, some ideas : First, did Turpis ever see Oriens or Rin after they separated? LilBueno's story of the encounter betwwen Kairi and Turpis made it seem like so. Kairi will indeed receive a charm from Rin, that will transform her into whatever she needs to look like. She will also teach her her first magic. Whatever that might be... Fire or something. Hm... Blza could unlock Riku's first magic, and Oriens teaches Sora it's first? Or more importantly, what happened to Sora and Riku's magics from KH2? Did they vanish? Were they stupid enough to actually forget them? I say that they should begin with a few magics, although weak. Sora can have Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, nad maybe Cure, Riku will have... whatever dark aiblities we give him, maybe Dark Aura/Firaga, and Dark Shield, and Kairi... Kairi's got nothing :D. This adds an element of gameplay. Sora has quite some magics, Riku's got a few, Kairi's got nothing. They'll all end up about equal, but this mkaes each scenario more personal.
Trenyan could not sleep. He had been searching the village for Cylians all day, without finding one... without expecting to find one. But comapred to the previous days of walking tremendous distances, this day was a break. Since he wasn't asleep, he could easily hear the commotion at the inn's main room. Curious, he got up, took his travelling bag and his sword, and cimbed down the stairs. "What's all this noise about?" he asked the innkeeper... who had apparently decided to move part of his room behind the counter. "Odd", thought Trenyan. "Get lost", the innkeeper said. "I have no time to waste!". Trenyan curiosity wouldn't puch him further at the moment, but his will for payback at the insult made him move. He grabbed the innkeeper's shirt, pulled him closer, and repeated his question, word for word. "Er... if you want to know, the Lizard Clan is attacking again! As if we hadn't had enou-..." Trenyan was already on his way. He was the kind of person that would sometimes meddle in others' affairs, but when there was a raid going on, he wanted to help. While searching for Cylians, he got countless stories about the Lizards attacking, anyway. Running out of the inn, he followed the armed men that were also running. Most were armed with improvised weapons : pitchforks, hatchets, rakes, and all they could get their hands on. "No wonder those Lizards keep raiding. This village is an easy prey.", tought Trenyan. He ran among the humans, the night sky filled with their shouts and the light from their torches. Soon, several fires came into view. OOC : To avoid problems, I'll change my character to a half-Cylian - quarter-Wolf Clan. That's the result of the union between a pure Cylina and a half-Wolf Clan. He used to be half-Wolf, aka half of a purewolf, which would require explaining how a Cylian mated with a wolf. He still retains the mostly Cylian appearance.
