"In normal conditions, I would've introduced myself. But those aren't normal conditions, you get it? When I see my wolf friend fall in a pit, and encounter the one who dug that pit, I don't think of polite introductions, right?" OOC : I'm trying to give different ticks and speech habits to all my characters, so it may sound strange sometimes. You may have noticed Kurt loves ending all sentences with a question.
Kurt let out a sigh. "There aren't MY people, you know. I just happened to be there, at the wrong place, at the wrong time. Blame them for burning the forest down, not me."
"I'll take that as a "no", shall I? Baflee is under attack. Lizards and Leechers are destroying it, you understand? This forest, Faelyand Woods, was where they came from. That's why it's burned. The people of Baflee wanted to protect themselves, so they sacrificed this forest. Now that I've answered to you, do us a favor, will you? How about you get that wolf out of the pit first? Or rather explain why you greet strangers with so much hostility?", said Kurt.
Kurt answered : "What do you mean "I don't know who I am?" Are you kidding me? I didn't ask for a philosophy lesson. As for the forest, I guess you aren't aware of Baflee being burned down as we speak, are you?" Then, to himself : This guy is suspicious. He talks as if he taunts me... he probably wants me to lower my guard. Better be careful.
Kurt was intrigued by the way the obviously Cylian man looked at him. "My identity is of no importance", said Kurt, keeping an eye of the slingshot. He thought of the man's words. "To make the forest green again"? Kurt thought about Trenyan's pyromaniac adventure for a second, but then shifted his attention back at the man. Flame Burst was growling hard, and trying to get out of the pit, of course failing. OOC : Hey Pezz, Cheslidair is gonna get attacked already? I figured it would take a few days for the whole kingdom to retreat there, but it's barely been a few hours, or am I mistaken? Won't you force the population to go back to their towns, which is the best place to be?
Kurt was intrigued by the wooded area he reached... How did this place survive the fire? But suddenly, Flame Burst, who was sniffing ahead of him, fell into a hole! Despite the swiftness of the event, Kurt realized that this was a trap. Flame Burst wouldn't have fallen into an open hole. He took his scythe from his back immediately. "Flame Burst! Are you okay?" He could hear the wolf growl wildly in the pit below. "Who did this? If you're there, show yourself!" he said, staying alert, knowing that other traps could hit him at any moment. OOC : Why set that trap... why not just, ya know, ask them who they are? :)
Ah. I knew what ewoks were, but had no idea why you mentionned them suddenly.
Trenyan had arrived at Cheslidair. But he felt like arriving in hell. Thousands of villagers were gathering in this city, as the King apparently ordered. Where will those people stay?! Doubtless it's indeed a traitor that made this plan, and not the King. But who? thought Trenyan. If the King had thought of this, surely his generals and officers would have told him the problem. No. This must come from someone who has a great military influence. This King needs to remake his military generalship... Trenyan managed to enter the city. There were "only" a few thousand villagers here. soon, however, the entire kingdom will be here. Unless Trenyan succeeds in his mission. Something even he, unfortunately, highly doubts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kurt was surprised how fast Flame Burst moved. He had trouble keeping up, especially with his feet always sinking in deep ash. It took a while, but eventually he approached the northern border of the forest. He then saw... a part of the forest that was left unburned? He approached the mysterious place, Flame Burst growling. OOC : Traveling through the forest in record time ftw
Ewoks? Where did that come from...
Kurt followed Flame Burst. Being a half human and half Cylian, his smelling sense wasn't strong. All he could smell was fire and ash. Coughing was part of the travel through Faeyland Ash. And still, a few remains of the forest were on fire. I hope the dead Lizards and Leechers were worth this, Trenyan.
Ok, Kurt and Flame Burst are on their way. I won't make the traveling take long. You can still do something in the meantime, if you have any ideas.
Kurt had a nice surprise waiting for him. He saw an animal approaching, but he recognized Flame Burst. Trenyan had told him he sent the wolf in a delivery mission, and Kurt was happy to see the wolf come back unharmed. This wolf will never cease to astound me, will he? The reunion wasn't anything too sentimental. Kurt knew the wolf, because he was Trenyan's best friend, after all. Sometimes going on journeys with Trenyan, it was inevitable he knew his wolves. Thus he understood what Flame Burst was trying to say. It was one of the few things he could understand from the wolf's gestures. Flame Burst had detected an odd smell. It came from Faeyland Woods... or what remained of it. That was making the smell odd : it was a smell in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of an ocean of ash. Kurt wouldn't worry about the smell and whoever it came from, but he planned to go through Faeyland Woods anyway. He feared encountering Lizards or Leechers by taking the western route to Ilianam. He decided to go through the burnt woods. So he turned back, and started moving east once more, turning north when he reached the woods, and proceeding in the desolate land that his best friend had created.
Finally we can RP together, and have our characters actually do some interaction! Hooray!
Don't worry. KH-Vids often shows people offline when they really are online. I think it automatically shows offline after a few minutes of...
When the humans arrived to Quel, the battle was almost over. Little did they know that, unfortunately. Several groups were made, and the soldiers ran straight into the ending battle. Lythorne could realize, within the first minute of fighting, that something was wrong. Fighting further, he knew that the fight had already been lost. He had seen Leecher siege weapons in the distance. Quel was doomed. Muttering an insult to the creatures that he was fighting, he decided to escape. No matter how hard he fought, more enemies would come. Their surprise attack would soon be known to all the Lizards and Leechers, and a full retaliation would be fatal, no doubt. Swallowing the little pride he had, Lythorne took a few steps back, then turned around and ran as fast as he could. A few enemies chased after him and the other ones trying to escape. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flame Burst was south of Faeyland woods. He picked two smells, one to the north, and one to the south. The one to the north was particular, because it came from the burned forest. It was faint, however. The one from the south was interesting because the wolf knew whose it was. He moved towards the source of the smell.
OOC : Damn! So many Posts, so may Posts! Posts all over the walls, Posts everywhere! Ok, in order to avoid disappearing from the face of the planet like this again (:(), I'll make an effort to at least inform everyone before I leave. Sorry people :( Since I've missed 4-5 pages of posts (and I've set KH-Vids to show 40 Posts per page), and read them all just now, could I please make my characters be far away? They were technically moving all this time, so can I, for example, make Trenyan already be near Cheslidair?
Hm... this actually disproves the barrier theory, in my opinion. Kairi had practically fallen on the white ground. Had Sora been too slow to catch her ; they would've been together  Also, for the ""Ansem" sent Kairi away" thing, my memory tells me it was in a Japanese-only game. Maybe KH1FM. But I can be very wrong.
Barely a few minutes after the news were announced, all soldiers were requested to get ready for departure. Now, half an hour later, the warriors were on their way to join Quel. Runners brought more news : the enemy was almost ready to strike. Lythorne was enraged at the thought that so many towns will fall without a fight. Baflee is just as easily already destroyed! He was the only one of the three men to go fight. He knew that the thousand troops we was with will separate. Smaller groups will be made, and attack both armies... a move that seemed suicidal. But, as the leader of these troops pointed out, this attack was their best chance at making a difference. Lythorne thoughts were violent : Unbelivable! Completely unbelievable! Yesterday I felt like the whole Kingdom was to hold off the Lizard attacks! Now I learn that the lands are being deserted! There isn't any more places to call "home"! Trenyan had already parted ways with his friends. After discussing with them ; his target was clear. He was on his way to Cheslidair. Kurt too had left. He was moving towards the west, around the lake. Hopefully he can reach Ilianam soon enough, and he can then resume his mission : find the princess. Even though Trenyan wasn't with him ; he had no choice. The recent events proved that time was critical. Both Baflee and Ilianam are going to burn if nothing is achieved. His home, the town of Lorya, wasn't affected by any patriotic feeling. Its own survival was to be put in danger should the kingdoms fall. Kurt was to try to make Ilianam stand solid. Lythorne and Trenyan were to attempt to save Baflee... hopefully not dying in the process.
The fight started already?! I gotta hurry then. One character will be part of the battle. Those bag of bones and reptile freaks sure move fast...
Once again I feel like I went overboard on the RP. What do you think?
