Happy 1000th Post, Chaser Pezz! :D
OOC : You guys and gals don't even want to know why I've been away all day today... but now I'm back, and it seems we have action! And spam! Hm... Spam! Refined Leecher food! Lythorne saw an owl fly from a tree he set on fire with his magic. He realised that he was destroying the home of many creatures... but those creatures are probably better off with their home destroyed, rather than under Lizard domination. Still, he was destroying their homes. This got him thinking. That's probably why he didn't realise a few Lizards followed him. A couple of minutes later, he had exited the forest from the planned place, from the south-west in his case, and ran eastwards towards the rendez-vous point with Trenyan, still shooting arrows at the trees. Trenyan had seen Lythorne arriving. "Terrific work! Now, let's stop shooting flaming arrows. Humans will soon arrive see what this fuss is all about, and we want to look innocent." He saw some figures coming from behind Lythorne, but the night sky didn't allow him to distinguish them. The forest fire couldn't illuminate them well enough. "What? Humans here already? Damn, if they saw us, we'll have to run for it..." But they were not humans. They were Lizards. Six of them, and when the duo realised that, the surprise made them stay there for a second or so. "Foolssss! You will pay for thissss!" said a Lizard. Lythorne had packed his shortbow, and took his dual swords out. He attacked. Trenyan was surprised at the human's speed, but even more by his recklessness. He was surprised to see him mow down the Lizards, with apparently no problem. Impressive! He was nearly sure the human will get hurt. Maybe the Lizards didn't expect such aggresiveness. But unfortunately, more Lizards came. This time, their numbers were greater. Lythorne was thrilled to fight, but he was overestimating his powers. He felt that if a thousand Lizards came, he could take them all on. This would've been a fatal course of action, but thankfully Trenyan was there to moderate him. The Crossbreed, not so excited at the idea of figthing Lizards yet again, and ironically still next to a big fire, still jumped in the melee. The Lizards were once again too weak to defeat them, but unlike Lythorne, he wasn't planning on fighting now. It could blow their cover if humans arrived, and he didn't want to face all the Lizards lucky enough to escape, on their own. "Lythorne! If they realise we started the fire, they could try to follow us. But if we stay here for one or two more minutes, the humans will arrive, and if they guess, we're in far deeper trouble!" When yet another group arrived, he Molded an ice wall in front of Lythorne, and used his shortbow to shoot some non-flameing arrows at the Lizards. Lythorne had hit the wall, stopping dead in its tracks. He wondered why Trenyan did this, but he was smart enough to come to his senses, and get out of his unexplained frenzy. His friend was shooting, rather unaccurately, arrows at the Lizards. Lythorne moved his hand to get his own shortbow, but decided to run. After all, it was the original plan. "Time to escape", he said, and ran towards the East, Trenyan soon following him, leaving the hissing Lizards behind.
How many entries do you plan to have, for all "reports"? That'll help figure out when things should get "panicky". As for magic, we can always use different systems for everyone. Like, Sora, with his magic clothes, could have an MP charge. Riku could use a KH1-like magic system, but since that's worthless compared to the almighty MP Charge, his magics should be much stronger (and since he focuses on solely one element, Darkness, that makes sense). And now Kairi. From another game... *chuckles at imagining Kairi yell "PK THUNDER!" and grab Final Destination's ledge* Ok, my idea is as follows : Sora : varied magic, varied elements, overall moderate in power, MP Charge Riku : varied magic, one element (Darkness), overall very powerful, has to hit enemies to restore MP. Kairi : indirect magic only, a few elements used indirectly, overall very powerful... recharges somehow. So Kairi cannot use magic directly to strike, but indirectly she will. Meaning that she won't cast Thunder, but instead use things like Thunder Raid from Re:COM. Well what do ya know?! Re:COM has all the attacks we need! Hooray for Sleights! Two things I'm not sure yet : Is Kairi or Riku the best spellcaster (technically Kairi, cuz she obviously has less strength than Riku)? How does Kairi recharge her MP? KH1-style, KH2-style? Or maybe doesn't recharge it at all, and has to stop casting until the battle ends?
Why would I want that, lol. It was just Trenyan wondering if someone could, and destroy his plan. If no one can, perfect! Fire, FIRE! Axel...
Wait, what? I don't get what you're talking about.
My thougts exaclty... that's why I mentionned people will find Trenyan as a hero, or an imbecile, moslty depending if the plan works or not....
I think he was talking about KHFM, not KH2FM.
My favorite form, and most likely the best, is Limit Form, IMO. But it's a close race between Limit and Final, as both excel. I'd go with Limit, though, because you can use it anywhere, unlike Final Form. As for levelling up : Valor Form, as you said, is nicely levelled up in Land of Dragons, in the Antechamber, on those spear dudes. Wisdom Form wouls be in The World That Never was, as long as Shadows appear. I agree there. The 4 rooms in Timeless River are also a good choice. Master Form can be levelled up by blowing up the explosive carts in Land of Dragons, at the checkpoint. Blow one, get the orbs, move out of the room, come back, repeat. Works only in the original KH2. Final Form... The room before the Altar of Naught works good, but Yen Sid's tower as good itself. Not sure which one is better.
OOC : I'm not sure if I should thank, or insult you, Pezz, for totally destroying my biological rythm and making me to go sleep at impossible hours. :D BIC : Lythorne was feeling a thrill like none he's ever felt. Running thorugh the forest, using his magic to flame trees, shooting a few flaming arrows in every direction, putting a torch next to some leaves... It was getting hot, and his eyes started to hurt from so much light. But he kept moving, hoping that his orientation sense doesn't fail him, and that he ends up at the rendez-vous point. Trenyan was having a harder time. He had no magic to create fire. He could mold ice, yes, but he had no effective way of making fire with it. He also hoped that no powerful magicial or molder comes and puts out the fire... but at this point, it will take more than just one mage for that. He was also worried about Flame Burst. He asked him to come back to the "forest", not "the mountain of ash". At least he told Flame Burst his plan. Trenyan eventually heard Lizards shouting orders, and saw some moving through the trees. Without hesitation, he used his Ice Molding to kill them. After all, he had all his Molding energy, because he didn't use to light fires. He, as well as Lythorne, met and killed a few small groups of Lizards, but had to avoid the army itself. Thinking of the scrolls he sent to the King of Baflee, he hoped that the King could act fast enough. The Lizards will obviously move towards the east, out of the forest, and towards more Baflee villages. The disrupted Lizard army will be as weak as ever... if only the King could assemble all his armies fast enough... OOC : The villagers, along with Aduial and Aidou, are technically somewhere near where the Lizards will move, no?
Awesome! So much trivia! I guess that means he got owned by Sephiroth, Roxas, Terra, and all Data Battles... Here's a little contribution on my behalf : - The Organization Members that died in CoM were intended to be fightable in KH2, in the Coliseum. So was Roxas' battle. However, time constranits forced Nomura not to include the battles. - In KH2FM, the last rooms of the Caverns of Remembrance look mysteriously like the rooms of Castle Oblivion. - It is unknown what happened to Castle Oblivion. - Someone had pointed this out, but I forget who. How can you have salted ice-cream? Shouldn't the salt melt the ice cream? - Terra, Aqua, and Ven's Keyblades apparently have no Keychains, leading to speculation as to how their Keyblades may be fake. Master Xehanort's Keyblade does have a chain. - Ven holds his Keyblade backwards. It's also curved, and only has half of the handle, thus it was specifically designed for his fighting style. - In the secret ending of KH2FM, Ven is left-handed. In the promo videos of BBS, Ven is right-handed. - When Sora fights Xemnas at Memory's Contortion, his Facedown Reaction Command re-enacts the Deep Dive showdown between Roxas and Riku. - In the final battle, it's game over if Riku dies, but he's invincible during most of the fight. He can only be killed during the segment where he must save Sora, and during the final scene, with the countless lasers. In the actual battle, Riku's HP can never drop to 0, no matter how hard or often Xemnas hits him. - Final Xemans has a move where he uses magic to slash horizontally, and another move where he uses his swords to slash vertically. Oddly enough, the seemingly magical attack can be Guarded, but not the physical sword attack. - When Lexaeus does his Desperation Move in KH2FM, despite crashing down with tremendous force, his attack can easily be negated with a simple Guard. This makes little sense, considering Lexaeus' strength should surpass by far Sora's guarding strength. - In KH2FM, Larxene and Marluxia seem to have two Desperation Moves. Larxene seems to use a different attack, depending on whether she's cloned or not. Marluxia apparently uses both randomly. - In KH1FM, Sora had an attack named Zantetsuken. Despite having a chance of instantly killing Heartless, the attack itself did very small damage, and was useless against bosses. In KH2FM, the attack is also useable, only this time it's the strongest attack in the game, by far. - Nomura stated that Sora's fighting style changed from KH1 to KH2 in order to reflect his maturity. Sora indeed fights in more coordinated fashion, in the second game. - In KH2, Zexion's tomb in the Proof of Existence is shown destroyed. This is because he had died in CoM without actually showing his weapon. This, however, led to speculation that Zexion is still alive. - In Latin, Terra means Earth, Aqua means Water, and Ventus means Wind. In Japanese, Riku means Land, Kairi means Sea, and Sora means Sky. This shows a possible connection between the BBS characters and Sora, Kairi and Riku. - All KH games (with the possible exception of 358/2 Days ; can anyone check?) are very restrictive with attacks that do no hit anything. It's impossible to do more than one hit unless hitting an enemy. KH2FM , however, features the ability Combo Master, which allows Sora to combo the air at will. - There is a lot of Crown symbolic associated with Sora. The negative space of Kingdom Key's head is actually a crown. Sora's necklace also has the shape of a crown. Also, in KH2FM, completing certain challenges causes Sora to permanently have a crown on his head. The crown can be either of bronze, silver, or gold, depending on the number of challenges completed. - In Re:Com, in the scene where Larxene "reminds" Sora of Naminé’s charm, Sora is on the ground for some time. While this happens, his necklace hangs down... into the floor. - Xigbar, Saix, and Axel all have permanent marks on their face. Xigbar has a scar on his cheek, Saix has an X-shaped scar between his eyes, and Axel has tattoos looking like tears. - In KH2, after defeating Roxas, it is possible to unlock Final Form. Many of Sora's moves in Final Form are reminiscent of Roxas' attacks. This might be a hint of how Roxas merged with Sora, making him stronger. - Sora's Master Form only has aerial attacks. Mickey is the one who gave Sora his Master Form, and Mickey also happens to use only aerial attacks. - In KH2FM, Sora can use a new Form, Limit Form. This Form uses a lot of elements from the first game. It features Sora's clothes from KH2, but with the colors of KH1, as well as many attacks from KH1 and KH1FM.
Perhaps, but they will encounter a bit of fire as well. Trenyan and Lythorne concentrated on the south side of the forest, in order to protect...
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. After playing the original KH2, and doing some research, not even the fact it's in Japanese stops you. So many features... the battle system is the best I've ever seen in a game. Forms, Limits, Organization XIII, Keyblades, Synthesis Items, Awesome Music, Muhsrooms, Aerial Finish, and this Forum. 'nuff said. One more thing... if you're lucky enough to get a coding device and a TV Capture Card, KH2FM definitely stands out, with the best hacked fights in the series. I just can't find either of these items in stores :ranting: This game was actually worth the dramatic difficulty of getting my hands on it. Given the countless problems I've had, it takes a masterpiece of a game for it to be worth it.
"Unfortunately"? That seems fair enough to me :D What do you think the Lizards will do? Do you think the majority will retreat (to the north), or...
Ok, so my fiery plan is set in motion! Time to see if you guys find it smart or stupid! :D
