....This probably sounds like a shot at iPraise....but he has an obvious bias of pairings when what he should be doing is judging based on STORY, he's already been warned (thank you RVR for correcting his error). I'm just spouting my own opinion I guess. -A really LATE opinion at that now that I look at the week 4 results-

Also, a random thought for possible improvement, it may increase the morale of those who did not win if the person who does the judging pays more heed to their own grammar and spelling...but that is a more aesthetic factor in the contest I suppose.

Can't understand a damn word you said, but anyway....

Like SA already said, 1st thing I notice are the pretty pretty lips. 8D All the darkened parts are very good except that the right part of the hair could be a little less...I think wobbly is the best to describe it.

The grey parts must be fixed...they thow off the awesome- but anyway....BIZ PLZ MORE REALZ. XD

And exactly how hard is it to omit someone's text? Oh that's right, not very hard at all! Some fire its gone! An irresponsible person, its GONE! Artifacts are too easy to destroy.

Hmm and another thought has occured to me, what if someone who was "supposed" to write the gospel was illiterate? How would their part of the gospel go?

And another thing, WHAT do the scrolls of the dead sea have to DO with this debate? Ah yes, that's right you are trying to prove that your religion does exist right?

Seriously, one question I have of every creationist supporter which seems to be GREATLY ignored: IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO ACCEPT YOU MAY HAVE COME FROM LESSER BEINGS?! IT'S EITHER THE LIFELESS MUD/RIB OR THE MONKEY! PICK ONE.

P/S: What did we learn from fossils about the OTHER creatures evolving from single-celled organisms?! In your precious gospel it does not say "God created ZOOPLANKTON" it says "POOF! AND THEN THERE WAS A MAGICAL ZOO."
And anyone who preaches another word about the work of God and I will say "BEHOLD THE WONDERS of the HANDS OF MANKIND achieved through sweat, blood and tears!"

I drew these based off of SA's lovely WIP. The first pic she already knows about, but the 2nd I'm don't think she's seen- and I LOVE sharing 8D.
There is some MINOR nudity (but its still PG-13 or less CENSORED!), some more QUEEN!Xemnas for those who asked for it among....other things. These are the small versions. There are links to slightly bigger (and more readable) versions at the very bottom. Comment/Critique/FLAME(?!) and enjooooooooy. <3

Its not a question of if kids are getting worse, its "Are parents getting worse". Children typically get their behavior through observation and examples set by their parents and peers. At a young enough age, children do not have the cognitive capacity to know the typical "right" from "wrong", so it is really up to the parents.

And contrary to common belief, it really depends on the parent how "censored" their children's lives are. Children shouldn't even be spending so much time in front of the TV anyway! That's what makes them socially inept in the first place.

And so the moral preaching goes on-.

-MY APOLOGIES FOR A LATE REPLY-
You are not his advocate, this is an arena with (thus far) two sides and I am QUESTIONING his "support" as in any debate, DEAD HORSE OR NOT I will RESPOND.

Now as for your question. Have you studied basic biology? I will give you a very brief and barely cursory explaination.

During the primary stages of production of offspring, you understand the whole "two parts, to make one whole" (XX or XY or rare X*, Y*, etc.) the cells must exchange genetic information and in doing so, some errors, or more accurately, inconsistancies in the code due to whatever (envirornmental conditions and otherwise) may occur. This ultimately affects how the zygote and cells will end up after devolpment.

This is the same for when the cells divide, it splits its DNA in two and tries to "perfectly copy" the missing code, but errors may occur when the particles are re-aligining. (Refer to the terms Meiosis, Mitosis, RNA and DNA should you choose to research it more in depth).

You may also wish to refer to DARWINISM which is the concept of "beneficial traits are passed on and faulty ones are evicted from the gene pool". And of course, why it doesn't happen now as much is because we are a sentimental species that believes in preserving every shred of human life. (Such as people with weak eyesight get glasses, people with weak immune systems get medicines, etc.)

    WAY-OFF TOPIC TIME RESPONSE:
Does this mean if we pulled out counter-evidence about Noah's Ark, you wouldn't believe it? What if a "God" very different from your concepts APPEARED before us? Would you still hold onto your conviction?

Also, already an off-topic, but how exactly does this prove that evolution (wholly) does NOT exist? You have merely quoted a text with un-replicatable proof. Faith does not mean fact or reality. And look at all the other religions before Christianity! Dead and gone! Religion seems to be a very "phased" thing, just because Christianity (since you quoted Christ/the Bible) has lasted a little longer does not make it the DEFINITIVE ONE. (Don't take that as the glove to begin in a tangent debate about how it IS the ONLY PROOF and that it is ALL AROUND US, because I've already heard that from you. Either give me a different reason or something if you can reply to that statement at all.)

Side-Note: You also never acknowledged why you continue to use means not created by God to "spread the word" aka, using a computer (WROUGHT NO LESS FROM ALLEGED EXISTENCE OF THE EVIL TREE OF KNOWLEDGE) to continue saying "faith is the stone answer".

Also, you said "proof of God is all around us, that is all I [you] need". Isn't that rather contradictary in this debate thread?

Lastly, Alice has already pointed out how porous your last statement is.

That's all good and well, but then....who/what created God? Something, SOMEHOW was created SPONTANEOUSLY which lead to MORE things being created/produced. :\ -However this might lead into another tangent of debate-

    Random question time!

    1. Yooo Saix how's the fic coming along? (I read your other fics on y!gallery so I'm a little....antsy in terms of anticipation *u*)

    2. If you could play with Xaldin's hair, what would you do with it? -there are no ribbons or pretty head ornaments available to stick in however-

    3. Why is it so quiet in this thread? Are people afraid of posting repliesssss?

Not sure if I should post this here....but its more of a suggestion I think.

Can iPraise, or whoever is in charge of picking out the winners, at least put down a vague reasoning as to WHY it won rather then listing out just the entries?

I think the story of the week basis should actually be done by more than one person if possible, or at least with someone who can provide secondary commentary on the winners.

I say this because originally it was just Roxas doing it and since he was techincally the one who started it up, he could do his one-man show. But now that there is iPraise (I have no idea why he was picked, but that is not the point) taking over the job, I think that a secondary opinion should be sought out. (And as far as I know he is not a moderator at this time.)

But eh, those are only my two-cents on the matter. It's all up to the moderators and staff I suppose.

^---This matter has been resolved, thank you Soushirei

    1. Xemnas - he's the leader, pretty much a no-brainer. (even if he was easy to beat)
    2. Marluxia - he was put in charge of Castle Oblivion for a reason...its obviously not seniority or for anything research-related (he got to outrank the 3 scientists stationed there, and he doesn't come off as an intellectual type) so it must be for power. A countdown timer seems rather useful as well- and the fact he can curse Sora with a "quantity" death must mean SOMETHING.
    3. Luxord - he uses cards for fighting.....that's commendable in on itself. And he has power over time- which oddly the fight did not wish to elaborate on.

...Lovely, just lovely. Apparently humor or a "just-for-fun" never enters as a possibility! A majority of it isn't even "erotic". That's like saying all things with romance in it are limited to being PORN. That's rather sad.

And why exactly can't an artist draw it? I thought it was within their artistic rights! That's like saying a writer can't write a certain kind of story....how limiting!

LOL, simple, different people means different interests. Like how some people LOVE a certain food yet others HATE it. Then of course there's some people who may grow to like a food in time and yet others may grow to dislike it.

Not that hard to grasp, is it?

Anyway, that's your own issue to take care of, not ours. We can keep pelting explainations at you from dusk till dawn and whatnot but its really up to your whether or not any of our words will sink in to answer your question.

And if that doesn't work, well we can always go with the harsh and extremely cynical explaination: "Sh*t happens mate, deal."

And once again props to SA for pointing out the logic of the majority of why such things exist. Her bullet points are already awesome as it is. 8D

Personally I believe its all a matter of perception.

At times religion can be looked on as our "guide" but at times it simply causes too much anguish. I'm actually rather curious what a world without religion would be like! I have a strange, but unfounded hunch that it would be better. Maybe because animals do not have a religion (well as far as we know, I dunno) and they merely bicker out of survival.

Relgion can be given the title of giving us morals...but so can fables, but we do not preach the word of the Tortoise and the Hare nor any of the other fairy tale creatures. I wonder why? We still follow their "morals" but for some reason we humans overall seem to only get into debates over which invisible arbitrator is better- which is quite ridiculous in on itself.

Personally I think all religion should 'die out". It is a crutch for those who can't find resolve in themselves or their actions. And is the metaphorical carrot to press on for some sort of blind hope; you can have hope without the aid of paying homage to someone or something that never existed.

Because really, if you think about it, going to church or whatever weekly...what does it bring you? All of the (popular) doctrines state at one point or another that one of the most "personal" temples do not require a building, but rather humble...quiet faith. Course that died out once the loud obnoxious "god shippers" came about. I also think that the concept of heaven/salvation is a petty reward to bribe people. If some rewards wasn't stated, I have a vague inkling that none of the religions would have nearly as many followers as they do to this day.
