Well everything has practically been said in this topic....pious people take it to the next undesirable level of attention. Actually does their bible even mention anything about "lets all go on a crusade becasue there are books written by people who aren't dead yet....or haven't seen burning bushes" or whatever. Random Tangent: The best part that I LOVE about the piety of strict Christians is the hypocrisy in that technically....all technology is the work of Satan, as knowledge and the fruits of this knowledge were born from the TREE of knowledge (lol, I used that word so many times), no? So really any Bible-launcher that isn't a secluded Omish (they do that avoid electricity thing) makes me laugh, up until they try to convert me or argue that gravity is the work of the devil or that science is "lucky numbers"- I MEAN FATE FROM GOD TO TEST OUR FAITH IN HIM over rocket trajectories.
Hmm if we are to look at the debate from an ethical point of view.... At 12 years old the parents (or in the very least the mother's case for this...in the chance that the father might be older or something), psychologically she wouldn't be able to do a very good job by today's standards. And considering that 18ish is around the age where the majority "grow up" beyond an egocentric stage of their lives, that is why it is "better". Side-Note: Most children at ages 12 don't have the responsiblity, maturity or...for lack of a better description, the selflessness to take care of someone beyond themselves. This of course is not taking into account the positives (the more charitable 12 year olds) or the negatives (the more selfish and possibly destructive 12 year olds). Another thing that might contribute to this, and that it would be "bad" socially and psychologically for 12 year olds to have children in this day and age is because we have bumped up the age for whatever reasons. So the 12 year olds might not be able to understand the impact or reasons why they suddenly have a child (you can try to explain it but its all up to their rather undevoloped cognitivity on how they will interpret it). And this doesn't even begin to touch on whether or not they have the capabilities to take care of the child. (Support around them, food, consitancy with the chlid's care- infants can be rather taxing even on adults, and 12 year olds usually haven't even reached the stage to even TRY being patient. As well as reasonable commitment to caring for the baby.) Now as for the 50-60 year olds....well generally....people are well past their "prime" and are nearing their NATURAL expiration date. Having a child at this age socially could be negative in that the 50-60 year old could lose interest (depending on the personality) or tolerance (depending on how the previous decades of their life went) or just being socially out of tune when their child/ren are being assimilated into society (you know the "behind the times" parent). One must also consider if they had offspring prior to this. If they had, then they might try using a "tried and true", perhaps forceful method of rearing. If they haven't, then they might be very scattered in their raising of the child, doing more harm then help from wherever they may draw their guidelines from. Anyway, to wrap this up....personally I see nothing "wrong" with either age having children, its not really my business unless I am the one directly involved- in which case I would go with the boring but proven to be safe norm- 30-40s for having kids.
Voluptuous Yuffie Non-Red-Neck-Sounding/Grampa Cid
I really don't mind any pairings....as long as its not crack!Disney involved ones (that are SERIOUS), unless its crack humor, then bring it on! But yeah....I don't really mind many pairings....het/gay or whatever. I simply can't stand badly executed CLICHE- but that really can apply to anything. Pairings I dislike: SoraxKairi - is too damn "perfect" and if its not canon, its surrounded by roving SoKai supporters (and ok maybe I have a slight bais against Kairi for being such a weak -in comparision to everyone else- character). There's nothing interesting to be done that hasn't been done with every other prince and princess story. (Save for one or two out of god knows how many) Yuffie x Anyone that isn't made out of materia (that means you Squeon/Cloud/Cid/Sephiroth)- Yuffie just seems too carefree...and materia obsessed, what the hell does she need the meaty baggaage for in her quest for materia? The Original x A Mirror/Clone/Darkness of that Person - unless its AU or something, that's kinda trippy. I think the surplus of yaoi pairings (in the eyes of the anti-yaoi people) is attributed to the fact that Nomura REALLY sucks at giving us MORE likable female characters. You can count all of the FEMALE KH exclusive characters on one hand. (3 I believe, 4 if you count Aqua) And even if you include the KH Cameo female characters...you barely reach somewhere around 10 or soomething, I'm too lazy to count it.
Actually...that sort of makes sense...both nice guys...one talkative the other listens. :]
....OMG EVEN MORE REASONS TO LOVE YOU SA....IF THAT IS EVEN POSSIBLE considering I think it error-capped at infinity. <3 <3 <3 SO MUCH....TO LOVE AND TYPE IN CAPS TO DESCRIBE IT......*JOY JOY JOYYYY AND LOLLERS* As to all you naysayers out there....well daYAMN and whatever happened to free expression?! If it helps you sleep at night...oh people who are afraid of things out from under their prim little phobic and humorless rocks.... SORA IS WEARING A KILT. (a SEXY KILT...but hey, why can't guys wear things other then pants?!) GO WIKI IT IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A KILT IS. GOD. Some people just can't appreciate anything these days! Now back on topic: Much love SA....much love....more love then Riku's ruler can ever hope to deliver. XD
Nothing to do with fate?? You just provided the definition to fate! I'm glad you managed to read my reply that actually dealt with EVOLUTION. BRAVO. I'm glad you find that God helps you rather than you help yourself. Just mind blowing really. As for how you find evolution laughable....I find creationism, or at least a majority of its supporters quite laughable....The world runs on satire I suppose. (Because really, some of the work done by God can be considered 'magic' which is ironic in on itself. I think AIDS is probably one of the cruelest magic tricks 'God' has done.) Still you never did reply to how you only accept and utilize certain aspects of science (aka using technology born from science).....science is quantifiable in that there is a specific process as to how information and logic is obtained....Science is alive in that IT is constantly evolving whereas your Bible...which as you know was written by PEOPLE not GOD...they could have very much lied- but alas, you put down this conviction as your ONLY truth and mix in your own opinionated bias as your part of debate. Need I remind you that there are all sorts of corrupt religious "servants" out there? And need I remind you that the Bible says all humans are God's children? As for your counter-evidence...as said a billion times before, it is not a perfected theory. In fact the only reason why I see that creationists are so hellbent on not accepting the theory of evolution is because of some egotism that they could never have come from "monkeys" and prefer to think they were formed from MUD/A RIB. I'm glad you have seen more than one "mirical"/miracle, now how about you bring in some more solid evidence that supports creationism rather then just focusing on disproving parts of evolution? (Not saying you shouldn't but you are repeating what was said 20 something pages ago with the links.) I say this because not one of the creationists (that I have seen thus far) have provided VALID evidence aside from their personal testimonial of "what God does". And you do know a miracle generally means "overcoming against seemingly insurmountable odds" right? Side-Note: Quoting George Lucas is NOT a valid arguement in this debate. Side-Note 2: How come God is no longer doing his/she/it's biblical voodoo anymore, but instead is only doing these "miracles" you claim to have seen? So now you have the license to say his word as well? Do tell me the infamous meaning of where Adam's wives sprouted out of nothing as well? Or are you going to say "well just cuz"?
Marluxia is my fave because he was all about destroying the Organization or at least taking over it. And really because Scythes + Grim Reaper = F***ING AWESOME. Screw anyone who says having pink hair makes him gay- at keast he doesn't wear eyeliner/mascara like Axel. And he really doesn't use those flowers without a crapload of darkness people. SERZ. However, he does look like a starburst....I will give you that much. 8P
Real proof has already been shown to you. For some reason you seem to avoid looking past your nose in terms of what is presented to you. The fact you reference a WORK OF FICTION to "Prove" that luck does not exist is rather weak as well. And luck is merely a shorthand term for saying that certain circumstances fell into a certain order to produce a specific outcome. (IE: I see something on the floor and pick it up, thus narrowly dodging something. God does not make objects APPEAR on the floor to be picked up just so that I can avoid some trivial pain. That is by chance due to certain circumstances already set up, not to mention not every time I see something on the floor will I avoid being hit by something. Its just at that particuliar moment, I happened to be "lucky" enough in my line of events to avoid it THAT TIME.) As for miracles that you had previously preached about- even if the odds are not in favor of something, that does not eliminate the chance of success....you seem to neglect the majority of 'lack of miracles' in favor of the sparse 'miracles'. By saying that luck and chance do not exist you are shoving yourself into some it's-all-fate-I-have-no-control-over-it corner as well as dodging the debate. Now, some certain amount of luck did come into play with Evolution...such as the passing on of genes, some creatures which were not at all the fittest of their species managed to survive through means of luck and caused for a slowdown in some generations of evolution...some luck circumstances also lead to some leaps forward. A reason why we 'humans' aren't seeing a drastic change in our evolution now is for some of the many following reasons: 1. Evolution takes place over extreme amounts of time- a dramatic change will not be seen for probably, long after you and I and the rest of us debators are undeniable dust so to speak. (This is also because we are a more "complex" species with a relatively longer lifespan then some other organisms...some of the fastest evolving species are unsurprisingly insects...most infamously ROACHES among others.) 2. Humans will probably have their evolution delayed even farther because our TECHNOLOGY EVOLVES FOR US- thus elminating any natural 'hurry'.
I think Sora was fine in KH2....he's half Disney REMEMBER?! Now Kairi.....argh, she needed improvement direly. It's one thing to be weak and still trying but its another to just be blindly helpless and a hinderance (OMG LETS TRY AND SAVE SORA WITH NO WEAPON! AND LETS JUMP OFF THIS BALCONY LOL! That isn't smart or couragous that's just rather foolish considering she knows she can't do anything to them.) Damn them and their crippling maiden-in-distress archtype. And even though people keep on complaining about YuRiPa...I thought it fit rather well and lookit Tidus! He's a bloody kid too! I also think they were probably being represented as faeries or something, it was still damn amusing. (That and if they were their normal selves, they'd never have to worry about enemies again....Aeon Summoning/Alchemy/Paine's UBERNESS anyone?) Oh, but the characters that definately needed development....DiZ and the Organization (except Roxas and Axel)! You got more background on the freaking Disney villians than the main villians and that was a little disappointing. (Include Xehanort's Hearless to that list of development as well.) Especially with Xaldin, Lexaeus and Luxord.... PS: The manga can't be considered very canon at all. *spoiler??* A major example of this is that Larxene dies from WATER touching her! WTF MANGA ARTIST/WRITER, WTF?! They also put in more random humor...not that that's a bad thing....but it can't be considered canon. :\ PPS: Original Voicings are usually better then the 2ndary ones...it just usually is....
1. Why did Axel kill Zexion? Axel probably never liked Zexion very much in the first place and if Zexion were left alive, he would most likely be reported to Xemnas over the whole Killed-Vexen thing. 2. What did Xemnas really want? Xemnas wanted everything and he rationalizes Kingdom Hearts as being everything- Answers, Memories and the power to hold them. 3. Why did Marluxia feel it necessary to betray the Organization? Most likely Marluxia didn't like the idea of being 'controlled' by anyone else so he obviously wanted the throne to himself and maybe his 'queen'. Besides, he's rather guiltless, arrogant and a touch power-hungry. I personally think he was frustrated at how lacking a heart made him feel nothing. He seems like that sort of violently-stubborn adult. (And that makes him all the more awesome in my eyes for some reason.) 4.What was Sephiroth's connection with Cloud? Well in KH he's supposed to be Cloud's dark side or whatever. 5. Why does Namine never try to talk to Sora or try to remind Sora about his adventures in Castle Oblivion? Well DiZ was there for the most part (prior to re-fusing)...and because she most likely felt extremely guilty about the whole situation. She's rather selfishly-selfless at the end if you know what I mean. 6. What type of Keyblade was King Mickey's? The Keyblade of darkness.
HAHAAHAHHAHAHAAAAAA Your responses are as entertaining as the page! Egoraptor is known for that- Come on he made Metal Gear Awesome. He's ****ing brilliant. A side-note that I alrady feel really ******ed for pointing out or not noticing your textual sarcasm....its a parody page. c_c
Seen evolution in pictures? Do you even understand the concept of evolution? Its rather insulting to everyone else that you are arguing a point without even attempting to understand the opposing side, or even doing the basic courtesy of researching the other side with rudimentary information. You do understand that evolution is actually a series of genetic changes in the cellular development of a creature? Now, let me remind you what cells are, they are the microscoptic building blocks of life. If you want proof of cellular devlopment on an undeniable scale, look at how an embryo develops into a complex organism called a fetus. It is not magic, and if you have looked at any scan of the womb, you can see if to be true. Are you trying to promote divine right or something? Not every single good act can be attributed to God you know. Sometimes its through personal achievement and the concept of luck! There are people all over the world who pray to God and they are instead "hit" with something biologically destructive such as cancer or any other illness. And by the way, you do realize Washington died from natural illness? I do believe God is in charge of illness. ....Just wow...do you research these things at all? The Great Depression came from a badly structured system of borrowing money for stock market investments-as well as a series of several negative choices by the people of the country themselves. As for WWII, having faith? Ever hear of what happened after the Pearl Harbor incident? Things like Hiroshima and Nagasaki happened out of thin air, it was all the work of scientists. In fact the military was able to succeed because of their planning, determination and their technology. Which need you be reminded, was improved by scientists. And then there's that incident with Hitler using his faith in your same God to start his demented crusade- he certainly wasn't smited in any way until after he had done a lot of damage. And it was by human hands. You could go on with what, your incorrect and one-sided facts? Listen, sorry to be harsh but your views are a tad on the blind-conviction and uninformed side. I don't know about you but I have yet to have met a person who treats scientists like prophets, or worship them. But I have seen them be respectd for their efforts and work. Would you respect the person who cured your sickness or would you spit at them as you wait to be cured by the same God who made you sick in the first place? Do you wear glasses, well take em off child, they weren't made by God so you shouldn't wear them either.....actually you shouldn't even be using a computer at all- it was crafted from Science. Computers were made out of the "magic" of scientists not the divinity of God. As for comparing science to Harry Potter, that is a rather outrageous comment in on itself. Physics, Biology, Pharmacuticals, and many other professions of science did not appear out of nothing, nor are the methods they use just a series of conicidnetal events. (Oh my God didn't talk about how to predict a rocket's trajectory with numbers, yet we can do it, it must be the work of JK Rowling's Book it's the only logical explaination!) And as another repetitive note, evolution doesn't happen with the simple snap of the fingers, it happens over MILLIONS of YEARS. That is easily thousands of generations and different combinations of genetics! Case and point, they use the selective evolution of PLANTS to make them a better crop! (Also the classic/crude example of combining white flowers with red ones to get pink ones- is it a different species? Not at first, but it could be.) I don't care if you say "but we're not the same as plants" it is merely a parallel example. I mean look at parents and their children, you can see the traits that are passed on- save for some genetic exceptions due to genetic mutation, or are you going to call that stupid as well, another form of witchcraft in your eyes because it was not written in your book?
Hmmm, My top 3 because I love them so. <3 1. Marluxia - (he's f***ing awesome and) he has Specter which can FLY *that's actually my main reason, because Specter is pretty, and it looks like fun to fly around on a human-ship of death thing*. A scythe is also practical for several things such as cutting down trees and whatnot. That and he would be a very interesting person to talk to. (If he can talk to Larxene and be buddy-buddy with her he can talk to anyone, lol) However I doubt his ability over nature includes being able to grow things....he seems more like he has the ability to kill things. The petals/thorns however would be very good at shooting down overhead birds....or getting the attention of a helicoptor.....or just using Specter and fly to Disneyland or something. 2. Xaldin - (I think he's damn cool and) because his element is weather related so he can therefore have some degree of control or at least knowledge about any unagreeable storms. And if its hot, well, just ask nicely for some fanning that sort of thing. He can also fly on this beamy-lance-dragon thing- actually he can fly by himself now that I think of it. 3. Luxord - (I don't know I just think he's fun and) he has that sexy british accent and an infinite pack of cards, in the very least he'll be entertaining. He also has the ability to turn anything into UBER CARDS. That's like axes, shelter, fodder for signals, and even a raft if you really think about it.
Best Fic so far (that's completed): Blue-Eyed, Hands Tied (its on here and rotting) Best Drawing: ....uh nonexistent, but people seem to like my 3 frame animations. I think that's about it. As for Soushirei's fic.....one word, GODLY.
Vash's Girl on ff.net has written a Leon/Cloud/Riku 3some....I'd direct link it but I don't want to be associated with direct scarring. So here is her profile. The story is called Obsidian Feathers, click the complete version in her profile for the lemony-scented one.
I'm no good at writing that, 1. I don't have the guts, and 2. (more importantly) I can't write at a respectable level yet. But fret not, I offer you naught an empty good luck, but rather recommend referencing the ff.net group the machination for all your lemony needs- they're like the League of Godly Smex/Smut/Secks Writers and so much more. (tee hee, LoGSSS Writers)
*EXPLODES* consider yourself stalked woman!
Lovely as always SA *envies like a crack addict envies another crack addict for their higher and more volumous amounts of crack* Only one biztchcrit...on Xigbar....wherez his scar? By the way, love his bonnet-hat (first word that came to my mind sorry)!
Hmm, this might seem a bit random, but I think Vexen + Riku Replica is actually sorta....dare I say, cute, at least in my wonderland of a little world. o_o Poor Vexen needs more love. D8 S/N: Saix I wouldn't mind bouncing ideas with you if you still need em. 8D My y!gallery sn is blankdeath :]
