Sick on a Friday, and boredom uprising. What shall a poor Skyler do?

    Make another quickie.

Haha, what else can I say? Oh yeah, this video is for two people. And here are the hints:

This is a video for Repliku, as you can tell by the Monster concept, and for Pyro, as you can tell by the DJ Tiesto music.

All together, you get this video. xD

And yes, the catchphrase was something I came up with in just seconds. xD
    I got bored.

Well, being a gigantic energy drink .. drinker, I thought I'd finally make a topic about the top energy drinks you drink.

And please, if you don't drink energy drinks, don't waste your time posting. And no, Mountain Dew doesn't count.

So, what energy drinks do you like to drink?

Well, I actually just got addicted to Monster, which I had gone under a large hiatus just to not drink. It's that addicting.

Red Bull and Rockstar have always been a favorite of mine. Red Bull is true when they say it gives you wings. Seriously, this s**t kept me up all bloody night the other day.

Of course, Full Throttle and Unbound are some "indie" likings to energy drinks I continuously drink. Unfortunately, they don't sell the non-alcoholic King 888 at my new store. D: How depressing.

Finally, I guess you could say that the NOS energy drink isn't too half bad. I do appreciate it's unique mango taste. It's something original, that's for sure.

Simply through the title, I am officially holding up a contest for the trailer song decision, seeing how there are so much awesome songs out right now.

Well, I've found myself in confusion as to what song I will use for the trailer on my up and coming animation comedy, Simplicity. The script is going out soon, and the trailer is in progress. But what is bothering me is the damn trailer song!

So, I have five songs below, which all have an MP3 link. So, QuickTime is needed.

So, basically, whichever one you find to be the most awesome to yourself, you vote for it, m'kay?
I hope you all have fun, and please, be honest.

Also, if you have any recommendation songs, let me know. <3

    Oh sweet. :3

Not only did my school accept my magazine offer, but they also accepted the ability to film on their grounds for a movie. And guess what movie that is?

    Amnesia Does Exist.

That's right. For those who know of my new short story, which is located here, which is based off the prequel, which is a play named Streetlight. Which so happened to be a success with my seventh grade drama class.

To help clear up some things before you read the story, I'll let you in on the Streetlight synopsis that involves ADE.

Ashida, a boy not given a last name, is awoken in front of a streetlight after completely being knocked out, which is revealed at the end of the play, by a car. Unbelievably, a girl saved him and placed him by an odd streetlight with broken glass by it.

He loses all of his concentration whilst trying to find out where he is, and passes out once again, but this time, it was seemed to be just an hallucination. But really, he was knocked out by the employees of the metaphysical control prison. Only to dream in his cell, with a streetlight being right above him. But, then, after deja vu kicks in, that's when ADE starts.

When Ashida wakes up in his true cell, right after Streetlight.

And here comes an opportunity to make a live action movie based on the short story. I can't wait to start filming on October 2nd.

But anyways, I just wanted to get that off my chest and let you know how excited I am to be able to make this. By the way, I hope you enjoy the story, and I HOPE I'll be able to finish the movie soon.

Love you, Jerome and Citrus, for giving me awesome critique, already, on my story. And the second chapter will be out soon. :3

    the sadist's algophobia.

    Pain, is a pleasure.
    But soon, evolves into anxiety.
    How dense,
    The change of reality,
Changing the beginning, into the end.

    Fear of your own love,
Blow apart by a bomb of ripping effects,
    That cannot be described.
Does it make you quiver to hear the cry?
That smile completely shown a lie.

You know it, better than I,
    Creating this false enjoy,
Is only more of a fib than your secret life.
    Now, it's you crying.
    Army of emotions.
Whips with recoil containing pain of what seems like a bullet.

Taking that expression of whiplash farther than a mile,
    The beat is simply hallucination,
And the vampire gracefulness kicks in.
    With imagination of immortality,
    Taking your sanity,
    And making friends with schizophrenia.

    Turn your back to life,
    Change, at the least.
    Not everything is torture.
But I guess not many people listen to logic like so.
    So, continue with traps.
And I'll go back to my business with life.

    PINEAPPLE EXPRESS.

Greatest movie by far this summer. Hell, I even thought this was better than The Dark Knight. This movie was just plain genius, honestly. Better than any movie so far this year. I am impressed, honestly, by Seth Rogen and James Franco. They did such an amazing job in this movie. And god, was this movie hilarious.

And for a stoner movie, the ending had some serious s**t in it to the point I was laughing at some parts. Some people reviewed this movie and said the seriousness wasn't needed. But for a movie like this, I found it perfect. Props to the director and writer of this movie. You guys are geniuses.

    Who else loved this movie?

    Technicolor Magazine
'If you are into anything from our millenium,
Then we could be of some assistance'

Previously titled "AMSKY", but eventually changed.

Well, this is all about the magazine idea, and the opinion you, here at KHV, have on it. Below, I will list what is contained in this magazine, and extra little details that might be ... uh ... useful?

    What Is In TM?

    - 13 pages of informational, yet actually useful news on:
    • Music
    • Fashion
    • Technology
    • Rumors and Gossip To Put Down, Or Keep Expecting
    • Video Gaming

    - Introductions to myself, and the team and crew behind the magazine itself.
    - Occasional interviews with the most awesome in music of Las Vegas.

How did TM start and how was it created?

Actually, Technicolor Magazine hasn't started yet, but will arrive sometime soon online, and to my school. Running up for $5 an issue. But how it started, was rather simple, but strange in its own way.

Basically, our school, the ever so lovely Shadow Ridge High School <insert sarcasm>, is really really[/i] fucking boring, of course. And being as out going as I try to be, I thought it would be awesome to start a magazine that tells the school "at least we made something not made by 30 something year old teachers and staff that have absolutely no current vocabulary or sense of true, honest humor."

    That was a mouthful.

And so, I collected around a few friends, got some software installed, and the ideas and pages are in progress. Talked with the school to have it released, and it plans to be released for sale every Thursday. Whatever. At least we actually got it legit, that's what really matters. Lots of work gone down the shitter? No thank you.

    Online?

Yeah. We plan to make a website which can display the pages for those who don't go to our school, of course. And obviously, it's free.

Basically, that's all I can think of that needs real discussion about.

Now then, what are your ideas on it? Any ideas of your own?
Any personal question you want answered? Of course, I'll answer them the best I can.

Expect the first magazine to hopefully arrive by Thursday, September 18th.

Thank you for your time. <3

    For Jerome

This is what happens when boredom comes knocking at your door. And then he brings a friend named "Idea".

Well, I got extremely bored, and realized that I wanted to make a present for somebody. Which, might I add, is for someone who I haven't given a present to in forever. Jerome. Or, as you may know, Trigger ... or Royale.

Anyway, sorry for the shit decent quality. Tried to record anyway I could, ya know.

So, anyways, hope you enjoy my song "Happiness Through And Out". You can listen to it on iMeem, and on YouTube. And hopefully soon, on MySpace.

By the way, there isn't any singing -- for now. >:3

And credit goes to Hissora for letting me use one of her amazing photography images for the EP cover. Thanks bunches. <3

    Las Vegas

    Las Vegas

Lights flicker like a broken headlight upon an expensive sedan.
    Rainbow results to seizure.
Fashion of importance, and sex smells like perfume.
    Lottery through machines,
Youth abandoned from the good, yet horrible life.

    Break the windows,
    Kill the bartender,
Find yourself lost in an overdose of alcohol.
    The sun burns your skin,
    Along with your life.

    Burn holes in your pants,
But right before some random stranger tips them off.
    Peachy? More like sour.
Walk on concrete, and all you see is either success.
    Or just plain death.

    Girls killed off streets,
    Posers crowd the social community.
    Sickening, be yourself.
    Unfortunately, with riches of skyscrapers,
Blend in, and find yourself in blenders.

    Slim to none,
    And slim just went home.
    Whore out the money,
Meet the bitch that slashes you,
    Both literally, and financially.
    Trust is disintegrated.

Forensics prove nothing, but your own sickness.
    Terror of amateur mafia.
Own a gun, get owned by a knife.
    Death is all I smell.
    Right beside the cheap cologne,
    And the kill of day.

    LC's Reviews
No More Heroes for the Nintendo Wii

Skyler's Personal Favorite Game of 2008

Being the direct spoof of your usual, everyday cliches in video gaming and geek pop culture, this game deserves a special review due to the fact that this game is damn right amazing. The makers behind the Killer series are back again with a fantastic game for the Nintendo Wii that will surely bring back some Kill Bill memories back in place.

The entire concept of this game is to go through ten enemies who claim themselves as being the top ten assassins of an organization called the United Assassins Association. Or the UAA, for short. You are approached by a woman named Silvia who informs you about this UAA when you buy her a drink, flat broke in a bar.

Riding on your enormous motorcycle, the Schpeltiger, you approach all of these assassins to reclaim your title as the greatest assassin of them all. But the only problem is, you're flat broke, and have no job.

Simply, this brings back some good memories of amazing games and pop culture movies. It's like Star Wars, Kill Bill, an M. Night movie, some California, and finally, hit it with some Japanese yakuza feel to it, and you've got yourself a game. Now, as I've told before, this is in fact a spoof game of all the cliches you see in everyday pop culture.

The lightsaber you swing around mindlessly, being one of the biggest from the classic Star Wars. And then, smack the person who loves all of it, as the main character, the otaku badass.

Now, when I picked up the game, I was never skeptical. I knew this game was going to kick ass. And already five minutes into the game, and I was completely drawn to it. All I could do was wait for the cutscene to be over, and the cutting and slicing to begin.

And trust me, if you have ever seen an M. Night movie, you will laugh at the sudden twists this game has to offer. And the ending is tragically hilarious. Hopefully, we get the sequel to come out sooner than we think. And by the way, I recommend this game for all true The World Ends With You fans. You will fall in love with this game as fast as pedobear gets on Yotsuba.

That's it for now. And hope you all enjoyed my review. Stay tuned next time for the review of the movie, The Transporter.

Ugh, this took so long to make, and I'm so glad the first chapter is over. Basically, this is a story I wrote during a boring Algebra I Honors class. I am so glad right now, but so tired.

And I'm sorry it's confusing. It's meant to be like that. I'll explain in the remaining four chapters.

    Amnesia Does Exist
    001: Precognition Through Appearance

Body numb, and visual sight being distorted at the moment, I feel weak. As if my day couldn't get any ******. My eyes adjust to the dark foresight, all I can see is faint light from the dying bulbs within hanging lights. But through that frustrating light, I see scars of bright white upon the metal walls. It showed for its past of torturous psychosis.

Looking in front of myself with eyes of no expression, I hear absolutely nothing but snoring and whispering. More people existed through these seemingly barren hallways. One of them so happen to be sitting in the cell across from mine. The teenager turned to me with awakened eyes to only be staring into my eyes, and then back down to my straight jacket.

These straight jackets. So constricting, it agitates. This odd feeling of wanting to slice through the sleeves with my arms, is becoming abundant. But ignoring my emotion at the moment, the person across from my cell, began to speak towards me. Hopefully, the conversation would be as ******ed as the guards.

    "So, you're Data 0136. Am I right?"
"Data 0136? What the hell are you talking about?"
"Don't tell me they injected you ..."
    "Injection?!"

My yell echoed through the hallways which altered that snoring into shock, and the whispering became copious with the rest of the voices. The whispering calmed me for some reason. But then again, so did the loud hum of the built in fan that so happened to be blowing my long, red hair softly. Calm and expected for a conversation, I looked back at the teenager with my light green, tired eyes.

"Mind telling me where I am?"

You could tell the person didn't want to have to repeat himself. But as he took a sigh, the unknown presence began to talk.

    "It's a long story."
"I'm not going anywhere. I've got time."
    "Good point."

Here came the silence once again. Already, I began to feel friendly to this person across from my cell.

"You are in a prison, as you can see. But it's not very ordinary, as you can tell by your fan. I'm guessing they injected you with some sort of Amine. Which, is basically amnesia inducing interjectional material. If not that, you must have hit your head pretty damn hard when the guards threw you in."
"You still haven't answered my question. It's obvious we are in a prison, but what prison."

Sighing, the boy leaned up against a wall to then continue the conversation with relaxation. "Tokyo. A prison classified for only those who possess abnormal, metaphysical powers and abilities. In other words, a place to lock up those who the old folk hate because we accidentally stepped on their lawn. Little did they know they were probably talking to one of us supernaturally enhanced people."

The story seemed confusing, and cliche, at first glance. But soon turned into something more believable. I mean, I have a clean police record. How possibly could I be thrown in jail? And with a straight jacket, at that. "Now then, what is Data 0136?"

    "It's you, obviously."
    "No shit."
"It's a codename to keep people from freaking out."
"Because they might know who they really are?"
"Pretty much. You see, riots in this prison begin when some schizophrenic dumb ass gets under so much pressure, that they go completely mad. Just goes to show how mad this place can get."
"You told me about injections. Experimental procedures, I'm guessing?"
"Bingo. This place is strict with that stuff, just letting you know."

Sure as hell, I could tell that. If you think about it, it's sort of just like a futuristic concentration camp that doesn't drive you mad. Already ten minutes awake, and I find myself tired, bored, and hungry. Time unknown, I could only draw the conclusion that it was night time by the low illumination through the square windows.

But what had me puzzled was, what the hell was this guy's name?

"If you are wondering, my name is Kazu." Kazu was reading my mind. Perhaps he had some sort of mind reading abilities. Of course, it was obvious. Or maybe this person just really knows how to start a good conversation. I could never tell the difference.

"How about your name, Mystery Data?" Now it was Mystery Data. Why the nicknames?
    "... Ashida."
"Ashida? That's rather creative. Nice to meet you, Ashida."
    "Likewise, Kazu."

Not for an explanation. Preparing to ask a question, I braced myself for the story Kazu was certainly ready to tell. But, as I asked a question, it was shocking how Kazu could be asleep. Sitting alone in that open, metal cubicle. I could feel the fresh air, and the nice cold vibe, unbelievably. Why is it so comfortable? My guess was they were afraid of us. Make us feel calm to prevent our madness. Sounds reasonable.

Now, who am I? Why am I here? It's sad how I only can answer the first question. Ashida Burea. Being nineteen and would be considered not so usual, all I can remember now of myself is that I am in a band. The name that was faded both literally, and figuratively within my mind, came back to me steadily. But I never thought through it. I had more concerning matters, as rude as it sounds.

Who am I? Really. This all seems like something from a cliche mystery book. The only unfortunate part, is that science fiction would be fitting within the same combination. Heh, more like non-fiction. Living through something that was just context and dreams, I fell asleep as I eased my mind away from the crowding thoughts. And to only find myself dreaming ... of a girl.

Have you ever noticed that for each accent / language, that they have their own little words?
Even for the ones that seem like they don't?

Now, this is bluntly obvious, but still, I keep thinking about it more than often now-a-days.
Like, for instance, you realize that for England, you occasionally hear words like "bloody" or "cracking". Or maybe for a bigger example would be Scotland. They always paraphrase their sentences through not speaking with "g" a majority of the time. And you just got to love it when they say "wee". So adorable. <33

Yes, Kitty, I'm talking about you. <3

Anyways, here's a quick question: what do you say that relates to what I just talked about? Do you have a habit of saying certain words?

The vodka's never smelt so seducing before.

    Gorgeous, but eerie.
    Lovely, but suicidal.
Holding, but killing an ego at the same time.
