Alright. You all might have seen my thread 'That's It...' in the Intelligent Discussion section. Well, being as spontaneous as I am, I decided to make an RP and kinda base it off my life. This one is pretty much for those people that have gone through the hard times, hard ships, and realized that living is the best thing you can do to make it all better, to get through it. One. Step. At. A. Time. This is open to others, too.


So I guess I'll start with a storyline:

So there's a girl named Kate. She grew up with a life evolving around the horrible things a child should never have to live with. She had only two friends. A girl, named Leah, and a boy, named Tommy. They were the only people she ever had, and she didn't want to lose them. But she did. Tommy was killed in a car accident, along with his mother who was hit by a drunk driver. Leah, developed Leukemia and eventually died, right in Kate's arms. She was alone in the world, and then tragedy struck again. Her mother had been driving drunk, and hit a tree. Her father was so upset that he lost it, showed no care for her in the world. This time, she was really alone.

By the time she reached middle school, she was the odd girl out. Others made fun of her, taunting the way she dressed, wore her make up, the way she spoke, walked, acted. Basically anything she did was something to taunt. Her father still failed to care, and she still had no friends. One boy, who was older than her, by about two years, had been sexually harassing lately, and she was wondering what was up with that.

So what we basically all that has to happen, is that we have to try to change her life. She's on the edge of killing herself, really doing it, because she has been alone for years and doesn't know what to do anymore...

Here are the roles for so far:

Kate
Father (George)
Emily (Preppy chick posing as new friend)
Natalie (Gothic girl, also posing as friend)
Jay (Normal Guy, posing as new friend)

And then anyone else, who would like to join, go ahead. You can also change names of people already up.

Rules:

No inappropriate language.
Nothing beyond hugging and kissing.
No violence.
No being rude. if it's part of the story, nothing too bad,
maybe a small taunt, but that's IT.
This story doesn't invovle any super humans, so no powers, mind reading,
flying, making things move with the mind, etc.


Remember, PG-13. Basically regular rules apply.

General Attitude: Partially unknown. Katie is really quiet, and only really loses her temper when her past is brung up. Is usually very sad [obviously].
Description of Appearance [DoA]: [no picture, sorry] shoulder-length, strawberry blonde/brunette colored curly hair. Greenish eyes that sort of change with the lighting/mood. Clothing is pretty casual, nothing weird looking. Height: around the 5'3"-5'6" range. Weight: average, not skinny, not fat.
