OOC: Have to finish an AP Practice Test tonight. (That's where I was yesterday, but I didn't get done...) :P So I won't be on tonight. Tomorrow I will be though. EDIT: Checked like 2 seconds ago on Google, and we were number ONE. Heh heh.
"What, right now?" Xardius asked, staring at Vecked. "The stuff's ready?"
OOC: I got about 15 min or so before my time runs out, actually... But I'll RP while I can. BIC: Xardius shrugged. "The body's, er, decaying, so I think so." Indeed, Mordeth's body was quickly turning into black sand, which was blowing away on the wind. Xardius rubbed his nose. "Reminds me of the Virus' sand..."
OOC: I don't think I have anything to do, so I think I'll just read your guys' RPs for a bit, until we're ready to go to the Brotherhood place. And I'll think of something to scout out there...
OOC: Amused? Perhaps. Hmmm, now what?
OOC: I finally remembered!!! There's always been someone Nulix (the character) reminded me of, and just after I got off last night, I remembered who it was. Have any of you ever read the Bone series: It's a pretty fun comic-story, if you haven't, and I recommend it. Check it out if you want, and the guy with the star on his chest is the guy who reminds me of Nulix...
Mordeth was studying the army when the shot hit him like a freight train, tearing into his lower shoulder and throwing him forward as his right rib cage shattered from the exit point. Landing in a pile of growing blood, he was still for only a few seconds before standing and turning to stare towards Xardius and Xane. Glaring, he raised his hands, black death swirling in them, readying to loose towards the two. *** "Hmm," Xardius said. "Just like before." His finger hit the trigger. *** Xardius' shot took Mordeth in the face as his death bullets raced forward to kill Xane and Xardius; there wasn't much left of his face when the bullet left him. Raising a hand to his ruined face, Mordeth had a moment to feel fear as his own death crashed down on him, and to ask the unanswerable "How?" *** Xardius leaped up as the death bullets launched towards himself and Xane, and raised his hands. Flame leaped up, colliding with the death bullets and exploding. The death bullets dissipated in midair. Xardius breathed easier. "That was a lot easier than I thought it would be." OOC: Because I have to go...I had to cut it short. Sorry for that, but...
"You can see really far in them," Xardius intoned. "There." He pointed to the north, to a slightly lower building. "On the rooftop, in front of that twirlie thing." Xardius raised the gun. "Shoot whenever you're ready."
Xardius climbed a small maintenance ladder onto the roof of the building, helping Xane up with the rifle. "You take the first shot," Xardius said. "Once we pinpoint him, anyway. For now, just look for him. He'll probably be on a roof, like us."
OOC: No worries there... BIC: Xardius shook his head. "I don't die..." He turned to Xane. "I'm guessing he's probably scouting out the army, figuring out where it's going and such." The tech ran up with the rifles. "Here." Xardius took them. They were huge. He smiled. "Well, Xane, if you're up to this..." He walked out of the room.
"Suggesting that I am?" Xardius asked, raising an eyebrow. "You know we'll have to fight this guy eventually right? He won't suspect us to attack him right now. Later, he will."
"Think of it like someone pulling a gun's trigger and killing you," Xardius said. "Or gutting you with a sword. You die from the blade, you die from the bullet, you die from him hitting you. Back to the good old days when it wasn't about how much damage you could take but whether you were good enough now to get hit." Xardius grinned. "Besides, he can't touch us if we're far away. And shooting him. This will be a lesson in sharp shooting."
"Sure," Xardius said sarcastically. "Let's just march up and take him out. First of all, we need to find out where he is; second, we'll have to do this long range, because if he touches you, he will kill you. We'll have to strategize a little bit. Not that I think it will help in the end, but there's no harm in trying right?" Xardius tapped one of the techies on the shoulder. "Do you have a rifle that will beam somebody from about a mile away?" The scientist shrugged. "Sure, if you can shoot well enough." "Go get it," Xardius said. "Go get two. One for me, one for Vecked."
Xardius shrugged. "I believe he claims it means death in some weird obscure language. It's probably more of his personal title." "He works for the Brotherhood, though he may be more of a pet project than an actual member," Xardius grumbled. "Something like a watchdog. He's probably here to tell Scourge what we're doing."
Xardius nodded. "These guys seem to be getting pretty far on the cloaking device, I think. But Mordeth's lurking around...if he gets wind of what we're doing, we won't have much chance of catching the Brotherhood unawares. I think we're going to have to kill him..."
How's it going man?
OOC: Well, I was supposed to meet someone at about the time I left, but they didn't show up for about forty-five minutes, so I sat around over that. Then I attempted to do the thing I needed him for, but I couldn't, which wasted another thirty minutes. Then I had to sit around for another thirty minutes and wait for other people to get done so I could go home. I got home about 8:45, and then one of my friends called me and asked me to come outside so we could "talk." So that's where I've been all night. Sitting around and "talking." I put talking in quotation marks because she's really quiet and hardly says anything, which basically makes it look like a monologue. And I feel sick. BIC: Xardius was taking a cat-nap. Mordeth had left after a while, but Xardius figured he'd be back. A fly bit him and Xardius smashed it irritably. He wasn't the greatest at technology, but the engineers overseeing the plans in front of them seemed to know what they were doing...seemed to. Xardius sighed and waited for someone else to come back. OOC: Oh, and I have no more time. I'll be online tomorrow EARLY (earlier than today) to about now, never fear...
OOC: I'm alive... BIC: Xardius nodded. "Sickly sweet..." He silently pointed to a corner of the room where the paint was slowly curling away from a growing black splotch. There, he mouthed. Mordeth. OOC: Yet at the same time, I won't be back for about an hour. Pirate, you think you can hang on for that long!? Never mind, you're offline.

OOC: Hey, sorry, I was being dazzled by some 14-year-old kid kicking my trash at Guitar Hero. No matter; I do have to go in a few minutes, so can we get on tomorrow. About an hour earlier? I want to kill Mordeth, make some technology, run over the Brotherhood's cows on a surveillance mission, kill Virus, kill Scourge, take a breather, and launch into the next season!!!! Um, yes, well. Anyway, where the credit is given is not the problem. I always put it first thing in my descriptions, so you don't even have to watch the video to know what's in it. I do believe, unfortunately, it is the bands who are enforcing copyright laws on Youtube, probably because people are illegally leaking band videos and crud onto Youtube. Therefore, any video that has those songs are muted. Cruel world...
