Thread is a bit old, but I'm surprised I got here by clicking on a Tab I've put for my own unrelated Thread, so I feel like writing.

So, if something makes you feel old, maybe it simply makes you feel mature. It has been very fun pariticipating in the kh-3 imagining/designing project so far, even if schoolwork has tried everything to keep me away from having fun.

I'm 17, turning 18 this October, and I discovered the KH series when I was like 15. I didn't find the game immature, and feel no shame when telling people I play a game where people beat themselves up with "Keyblades".
I even built some Keyblades myself, tried making a Org Coat, and cosplayed Riku 3 times now. If you say you have no life, Pezz, then I guess I'm in the same situation :D

Hm... maybe the reason this website made you feel that way is because you put video games as your college education? Thus, video games are now something very serious to you? Something which is "mature" and "adult"?

Anyway, don't feel bad, all of us here ARE here because we really like KH. If you like it, and you surely do, since you started the whole Desoul discussion, then there's no reason for you not to be here.

I have to admit that going on this website makes me feel weird too, probably because I spent so much of my free time here, suddenly chaning my life routine. Strange, we had a similar reaction to our KH/KH-Vids obsessions :). Sounds like your feelings are very normal after all.

Guard is possible to do in real life already, actually...

Nice one everybody, I never thought of Curaga. You can heal/revive others, while at the same time becoming temporarily invulnerable :)

I have two things two say.
First, the Wiki's text editor goes glitch-happy at the slightest touch... seriously, don't ever touch CTRL-C, and don't even think about opening Word.

Secondly, I noticed that we are pretty good artists. Well, judging from our compliments one another, at least. Therefore, I was wondering if we could make an Artwork page in the Wiki. It would put all the images in one place, and give the readers something more to look at than plain text.

Do you all agree to have your artwork posted on the Wiki?

I like the idea of someone dying, or at least be incapacitated, by Xehanort. That person will realise its mistakes too late, and will give the players a sense of seriousness for the remainder of the story.
    Well thought.

I raelise I didn't say what Keyblades you made I think are cool. I'd say A and C, just like you did. B looks too... complex.
You mentionned C should be held like two-handed. I was thinking like a halbred/spear, but I think a simple two-handed grip can work too. You can have Turpis hold with both hands, but separated from one another by, say, 10 centimeters. That's a mix between how Sora holds his weapons, and how a spear is held. Anywya, it's just a suggestion.

Blaze controlling Heartless... ok, please explain further...

Oh, you remind me. About the Keyblades used by the Keybladers : they are different if we follow lilbueno's idea, stating that they have no Chain but a Charm. Now, I ask if their criteria for selecting people are the same as ordinary Keyblades.
Blaze and Turpis shouldn't be too attractive for the Keyblades. Think how Sora's Key wanted to go to Riku, but chose Sora when Riku chose Darkness.
So we need to clear this up.

Finally, seems that Oriens isn't too liked around here :D I gotta say that I found him to be the person I got the least interested in, at first sight. But we all know how first impressions can be wrong.

    *winks at lilbueno*;)

I dunno why Oriens doesn't seem as interesting though... maybe because he's... on the good side. Blaze and Eclipse are anti-heroes, "Myst" is the villain playing cosplay, and Rin, well, we thought of her first, so she was exciting news.
That being said, we can't have three of us hating a character we created. Let's leave that to eventual fans :). Therefore, we need to spice up Oriens. If he's interested in leading Kairi to use her full powers, he can play a larger role in her story, and thus in the game. Or, at least he must be encountered early ; he'll get more attention.
Therefore, I suggest Oriens be the first Keyblader Sora encounters. Or did someone already suggest Sora meets the Mysterious Keyblader first?

Hmm... true, I rushed the tip because I was running out of time. I told myself that because she swings the weapon, it would be hard to control which side hits. The tip, being mostly two-dimensional, will hit with either side.
But yeah, it needs some refining.
I have an idea. I also have a boring class tomorrow, so I can use a bit of time to modify my existing design.

Come again? Thanks for your appreciation, but I don't understand your first sentence. Missed a word before "like"?

I might toy around with PhotoLine to color the Keyblades, when I get the time. Black and orange souns very nice.

NOTE : If you read this and there are no pictures, it means that I failed to put them. Hang on a sec if that's the case ; I'll try to fic the problem ASAP and the Edit this Post.

I've been thinking abour Rin a bit, but mostly on her weapon.
Since Pezz already thought of that flail/whip-like Keyblade, I designed one too. Now, behold what I've done in my 3-hour useless and boring class today :

I lacked space at the end, but it's not too bad.
You can see traces of my eraser. That's because I remade the hilt several times, since I really overcharged it the first times. Now, it's lighter, but still pretty... "filled".

An exaplanation : You can see one side of the hilt having two "spikes" coming towards the hilt itself. This is an original idea I had, although strange. I told myself that Rin would grab the hilt, and hold the two spikes between her middle finger. Those spikes are inspired from Oathkeeper ; that's why I associated them with "Order".
I don't think this is very practical, though. A flail is an odd weapon, and I'm not sure how the shoick is transmitted upon impact. But it's not a big problem, since many Keyblades in KH games would be near impossible to swing in real life.

About a Keychain : lilbueno suggested that the Key Charm is directly connected to the weapon, without a Key Chain. The Charm, here, would be that curved square that looks like a star, just below the hilt.

Also, during the boring class, I made a prototype Chaos Key. This is the one I metionned a few Posts ago, and is definitely based around flames :

It may look difficult to understand, so lemme explain : all of the blade is made out of metal "sheets" ; thin layers of metal. The lines represent the edges of the metal. Therefore, this Keyblade has little to no 3-D depth. Think of Way to the Dawn ; it resembles it. WTTD is nearly flat, just like this Keyblade.

It features a pointy tip at the back of the hilt. Dangerous, but representative of Chaos. I didn't include a Key Charm here, unless we count the pointy hilt.

Also, the "fireball" that connects the hilt to the blade is slightly larger than the hilt, in the third dimension. Meaning that it would look like a broken glass, with the blade coming in from it.

If you have trouble understanding something, tell me, because I have an idea that would make the Keyblades easier to imagine in 3-D.

I'll just draw whatever comes through my mind. Technically it should be the Keyblade of Chaos, yes, but I really thought about it in a fire-symbolic way. So I might just as well design several keys.

I'm not sure who should I do, character-wise.
lilbueno's got Turpis. This leaves Rin, Blaze, Oriens and Eclipse.
Knowing myself, I am best to work on someone who likes philosophical speeches, and likes making every quote as epic or clichéd as possible. Think of Xemnas, who talks like an orator... even when alone...
The question is, who would that be? There is Xehanort, but I think we're better off working together for the returning characters, since they already have a personality.

    Okay, think think think...
Rin = Order. Blaze = Chaos. Oriens = Hope. Eclipse = Despair.
Blaze won't work. A creature of Chaos shouldn't talk like an orator, as far as my opinion goes.
Oriens souns like an optimist guy, since he's Hope. My own speeches aren't that positive, and they focus more on describing what's going on in the universe. So I would drop Oriens too.
The descriptive nature of my speeches make me want to go with Rin.
As for Ecplise, as a being of Despair, she should be more emotionnal in her speeches, and focus on bad aspects. An opposite of Oriens, of course.

Therefore, I'll go with Rin. I can picture the Keyblader of Order using an exagerated language and vocabulary. I don't really agree with her ideas, but I can get around that.

One final thing. Eventually, the Keybladers will absolutely have to mess with the Worlds. Therefore, Rin will be faced with a dillemma. She can't oppose Sora and co and Keybladers, because she would be fighting the forces of good. She can't let them act either, because they won't care about the world order.
Rin will probably try to convince them through words, and eventually by fighting, but will join when she realises that the Desouls must be stopped. Oriens shares her ideas to a certain point, so he can be the one to convinve her. Or even better, Riku. He really shares Rin's ideas, but will obviously realise he must break the rules before Rin does.

Whoa, Pezz, I never called dibs on Blaze, lol.
I don't mind doing his lines, but if you wanted him, then you can get his role. You'll just have to rewrite his lines eventually.

You guys really made some awesome keyblades there. I have plans for a flame-base keyblade for Blaze, and other little "something"-based Keys here and there. However, Paint sucks in making them, and I'm not too used to Photoline, so I think I'll just draw them.

    1. After beating Sephiroth, have Donald staying in front of him, and then move away. Donald will walk/run into Sephiroth. Forever.

    2. Mess with the walls. I actually discovered some wall combos. Negative
Combo + Hit Wall + Square = Finishing Leap. Can also trigger Riku's Dark Shield reaction command to show up.

    3. Master the camera controls, and put it in "awesome" angles EVERY time, no matter what I do.

    4. Aerial Finish the air over and over again, thanks to combo master.

    5. Purposely do some insane combos with Combo Master. Example : Final Form + Sleeping Lion + Rumbling Rose + Spam Thunder while on a Save Point.

    6. Go Limit Form, use Combo Master to slash the air with Rumbling Rose, until Sora made 4 Hurricane Periods yelling out the same quote.

    7. Fight Sephiroth using crazy camera angles. Upon winning, going to the Great Maw, get killed, Load the Game and fight Sephiroth again.

    8. Everytime I arrived at the Altar of Naught but didn't feel like going through 20 minutes of final battle and 25 minutes of ending, I would once again spam Combo Master and make Sora use his moves on nothing.
While doing a low-camera-angle Zantetsuken in Limit Form, I got close to Kairi, and wondered if you can see under her skirt. You can.

    9. And finally...

Fight Terra while running on a treadmill.

Except for the costume change, that's exactly the fallback plan I had in mind. I agree.

Get bigger, maybe, but not much.
Summon Embers, definitely, since both Dark Side and Twilight Town summon things.

Well, here's a random attempt, using more philosophical though from Blaze :

"Don't worry, everyone is afraid of the dark. Darkness is all around us... and within us. No wonder we are afraid of what we can't understand. And yet, it makes up half of everything... but you, you are different. I see more than just a mere shadow in your Heart. Darkness makes up much more than half of what YOU are... what are you then? What makes the Darkness so attracted to you? I burn of desire to find out. By the power that is mine, I shall break the seal upon your Heart!"

Upside - More epicness, in my opinion.
Downside - Riku must be pretty tired after his near-crash, if he just stays there and listens for a whole minute.

    BLAZE?
Well, unfortunately, it doesn't work with what I planned for later on... and doesn't work with wha tI already said, either. Blaze would be abel to see what Riku does, and I wanted him to be surprised by how he masters the Darkness.
And besides, I don't Blaze knows waht a Station of Awakening moment is. Unless we say that each and every Keyblader had one, then it will be odd. It's like, I throw you into a different dimension, nearly killing you, and then I decide to watch you try to come back, while randomnly encouraging you.

Original idea, but I strongly disagree with it :(

I don't know who else it can be. OH WAIT! Maybe I know! Someone, maybe Brexen, had suggested having Maleficient trying to mess with Riku's mind, again, but failing miserably. I liked the idea, but couldn't include it in my suggestion of Riku's story, because it came out of nowhere.
But now we have a reason. Maleficient could be the one that causes the "dark cloud" which crashed the Gummi Ship (btw, I haven't thought where that darkness came from, unitl now). There are several reasons why she would do this... she may or may not have targeted the Gummi Ship itself, etc etc., but I'll leave her motives for later. We can find something.

Now, your Keyblade idea. Fantastic! I really give the image of someone who's easily impressed, although that's not true, lol. Anyway, since a Key has a chain, your idea should have popped up already...
So, that weapon is a Flail. Rin's fighting style will of course differ, and she won't be able to do some things (such as raising her weapon in victory).
I have doubts over Rin wielding it, though. A Flail is dangerous, and cause harm allies as much as ennemies if used incorrectly. Sounds more like something related to Chaos. I would thus see Blaze wielding it. And what about the other Keybladers?

EDIT : Actually, since Rin is Order, it also works. We can say it takes order to actually wield such dangerous weapon.

Now, time to continue Riku's saga.

*Riku is standing up, protecting his face with his arms. He slowly lowers then as he notices where he is. He doesn’t know where he is, but all SOA moments feature the Hero not being too surprised. The music is that of all SOA moments.*

*He is, of course, on a tower in a realm seemingly filled with dark clouds. On the floor is an artwork focusing on his portrait, and showing Sora and Kairi as well.*

    *A mysterious voice (subtitles-only) talks.*

Voice: “Don’t be surprised. You hold, deep in your Heart, a power that already proved its strength.â€

*Riku tries to see where the voice comes from, but gives up soon. He sets his eyes on a stairway floating in mid-air, leading to another tower. His eyes show no emotion.*

Voice: “The many powers you possess have always been those you chose to keep. You decided to chose who you are, and let nothing stand in your way.â€

    *Riku’s eyes show determination*

Voice: “In this place, you will come face to face with all your Heart has to offer. It is time you unleashed the full power that lies within you.â€

*The part where Riku goes from tower to tower will be playable. Desouls will occasionally appear to hinder his progress. Any specific gameplay element that only applies to Riku will be explained.*

*Eventually Riku arrives at the highest tower, where the floor is decorated with images of him controlled by Xehanort, consumed by the Darkness, his sad friends in the background, and so on.*

Voice: “A new journey lies ahead of you. A new threat must be fought. Observe the power that you have!â€

*As the words fade, a large dark portal gathers. Riku, alert, brandishes Way To The Dawn, ready for battle. The darkness subdues, leaving a humanoid creature behind. The creature wears a coat made of darkness, and suddenly tosses it aside.*

*Riku’s face shows shock. The view slowly changes to show the creature’s face. It is Riku’s. The creature is a slightly bigger version of himself, shrouded by dark energy, and purple eyes. This is a DeHero, a powerful Desoul who takes the powers of the Hero it fights.*

*The DeHero unleashes a lot of dark energy, but Riku stands still, his eyes burning with determination.*

Voice: “Now, see what lies within you, and choose what you keep, and what you toss aside!â€

*The DeHero attacks Riku, and the fight commences.*

*The DeHero uses a lot of Riku’s Dark-themed moves, but also employs some unique moves that related more to the Desouls. As all Desouls, he gets more vicious as he loses life.
He starts the battle with a Way to The Dawn replica, but then suddenly changes his appearance. His fake Keyblade takes a more “consumed†appearance, like an evil sword. The DeHero itself looks deformed. More energy swirls around it, and his powers increase.
Later, it once again morphs. This time, its weapon looks like a mixture between a corrupted Way To The Dawn, and an Ember Desoul. The DeHero barely resembles Riku, and fights with extreme violence.*

*When he is defeated, the DeHero is shown struggling to survive. Its Desoul nature is revealed as it dies, engulfed by green and purple flames, iconic colors of the Desouls. Then, dark clouds engulf everything in sight, including Riku.*

*We see Riku, engulfed by the darkness. He is standing up, eyes closed, as clouds of darkness turn around him.*

Voice: “You’ve made up your mind…

*Suddenly, Riku’s Heart flashes, and he swings his arms open, instantly dissolving the dark clouds. He is still on the highest tower of the Station.*

Voice: “Indeed, you are the one whose Heart no Darkness could conquer…â€

*The screen fades to white, and Riku is back on Radiant Garden. Blaze is near him, and is extremely surprised, unable to talk.*

Riku: “So, you were saying that I’m afraid of the darkness?â€
Blaze: “What?! You can control it?! Such unimaginable power… and you wield it, with no fear!â€
Riku: “If I need this power now, then so be it. I have no fear when it comes to use my Heart’s power.â€
Blaze: “Hmph. Darkness makes both of us strong. As powerful as you are, it’ll take more than strength to endure the trials up ahead… they are coming… and when they do, you’d better be ready. I would love to say and chat, but I think I’ve seen enough of you for today. But don’t worry; we will meet again.â€

*Blaze creates a Dark Portal. Without showing any surprise or doing any effort to prevent his escape, Riku just watches as the Keyblader vanishes.*

Official definition : It's a little organite in the animal cell, that charges itself with a magnetic charge prior to cellular division. They are two, so they oppose each other, thus forcing the cell to separate and then resume its cellular division. :offtopic:

In a broader view, it seems to symbolise a star. Asters are star-shaped, apparently.

Doesn't it also mean "Celestial object"? Like, an ASTERoid?

Anyway, for some reason it made me think of fire and electricity. Turns out the link is much more implicit than I thought, if it exits to beign with.

So in exchange, I have another not-so-obvious reference to fire :

I noticed that there already is a “favorite ability” section, but that’s in the actual game. Now though, I’m attempting to take this to the real life.

So, as the title says, what are your top FIVE Kingdom Hearts moves you’d most want to do in real life?

This includes pretty much everything ; attacks, abilities, growth abilities, magics, sleights, summons, Limits, from all KH games, including Final Mixes.
You can include moves that come from Drive Forms, but not a Form itself.

This implies that you’d be able to do the moves perfectly, anywhere and anytime, even if it means using magic, floating mid-air, etc.

EDIT : If possible, what are the reasons you pick these moves? Is it for looks, power, usefulness, fun, or what?

    So, unleash your creativity…

As an example, here’s my own opinion :

    5. Sonic Rave – It would be useful for moving around the town. There’s always Quick Run, but I also like Sonic Rave, so I chose it instead.

    4. Reflect – Real life or in-game, you always have moments where Reflect saves you.

    3. Magnet Splash – For looks, but attracting objects would be useful too.

    2. Ripple Drive – Just for the looks. I guess it’s not that useful in real life. It can probably serve as a short-term flashlight.

    1. Aerial Finish – I just love it. For me, it’s the most iconic attack of KH2, if not the whole series, and it would look awesome for real.

    I like Pezz's Neon Emblem.

Symbolic anyone? Neon = light. So when the light fades, the Emblem is dead. Similarly, the Desoul world Ends at Sunset.

This way, on halls/buildings in the World Ends at Sunset, we can get magic-illuminated Emblems tht glow in the dark, but which are turned off once the World dies and becomes chaotic.
