Tyre leaned in close to the man and whispered. "Listen, if you're telling the truth, I can give you guys enough money that you'll be able to get actual work done around here. You won't have to raid anymore and endanger yourselves. Or you can buy better weapons. You can buy food. If you're not, I can't give you much. Send a representative with us, and if this works out, you get your money. How does that sound to you?"

Tyre sighed, mentally calculating the bribe he would have to give to the Bronss Gang.

Tyre punched Kuaxa in the face, knocking him out.

"What an idiot," Tyre said. "We have business here. I'd lock up this moron until further notice."

Guards dragged KuaXa off and slammed him in a cell.

Sorry about that, Tyre thought to himself. But...bulling your way through a situation isn't everything.

The man groggily sat up as Tyre revived him with a small jolt of electricity.

"We'd like to talk to the leader about the Virus," Tyre said. "I believe he knows where it is..."

"No, the Virus isn't here...at least, I don't think so," Tyre said, motioning for them to follow. "But it might have been kept here at one point."

He led the way through a labyrinth of pipes, and finally came to a side tunnel which he entered and knocked on the door, then entered.

Inside a young man sat, slumped over the table, a paper under his hand.

OOC: OK, I'm done. He could be asleep, dead, paralyzed...whatever...I'm out of inspiration for a moment.

"In the Guardians, I was always picked for stealth missions because no one can detect me if I don't want them to," Tyre said, shrugging, helping the others down the last bit, which was missing some rungs. "So I followed the Bronss gang here. I then revealed myself and they gave me information grudgingly, after I made clear that I wasn't here to take them out."

Tyre led the way out of the city and onto another road that led to a small farm. He slowed as he neared the farm, and turned right onto a tiny road that led through a bunch of corn that finally dead-ended in a circle of no corn.

He got off his bike. "They'll be safe here."

He walked to the center of the circle, and stomped on the ground for a moment before finding what he was looking for, and hauling the lid off a manhole.

"Down here," Tyre said, climbing down the ladder.

Tyre hid a smile. "Sure," he said as Nulix climbed on the back of his bike.

He pressed a button and the warehouse doors slid open, then he idled the bike out and floored the gas, weaving through the streets into the main thoroughfare.

"Just keep up," he yelled to the others.

Tera Roth and Highwind looked at each other and nodded, lowering their binoculars from the Ulfire contingent.

"Ulfire...check. Now just a few more players..." Tera Roth grinned.

Highwind spoke quietly. "Let's hope they're all up to it..."

Quietly, they disappeared amongst the rooftops.

Tyre climbed onto a sleek blue motorcycle, and turned it on. "The keys are in the ignition. Vecked, why don't you come with me?"

Tyre opened the door to the house, which turned out to be a small warehouse. He uncovered several sleek motorcycles.

"These will get us there fast, ahead of the patrol," Tyre said. "There should be enough for everyone if we double up."

OOC: A long time back, Vecked became a Phoenix...did you miss that?

BIC: Tyre took Wing's hand and shook it.

"Well, let's get going, then," Tyre said. "There will be a flyby of the area by a reconnaissance team soon."

He turned and walked out the front door, looking around. Xardius wasn't there, but then again, neither was anyone else. Tyre motioned for the others to follow him and walked towards another house.

    OOC: OK, see you Wing.

BIC: Tyre raised his hands. "Cool it. I don't care one whit about the Virus. I just want to get my job done."

Xardius stayed outside, listening. After all, he didn't really want to talk to Vecked. He wasn't sure he could hold back.

He knew that Vecked was a Phoenix now, but something was wrong: Where Xardius and Scourge were roaring flames of power, comparatively Vecked was about the same strength as he was before. It was as if something were blocking his power.

    Still...

The door on the other side of the house opened, and Tyre Rutherford stepped through, eying the room he had entered. It had been torn apart. He shook his head, then he heard voices. Approaching them, he stayed hidden; Vecked and Wing were talking. Nulix was there too. Xardius would be around somewhere.

Tyre sent a silent message to Tera Roth and Highwind about where he was and what he was about to do, then entered the room, making sure to scuffle his feet as he did so the three would notice.

"But I do know where to find his gang's boss," Tyre said. "If you'd like my help."

Xardius tripped Nulix. "Act like a man, will you?"

"You weren't wrong," Xardius said. "It tried to steal my soul. But I'm a little bit stronger than it suspected, so it only got a piece of it. If it had succeeded, the effect would have been instantaneous. I would be inside the box, and the wraith would be me. Well, not me, me, but you get the idea. Pandora was the first one who discovered it..."

He chuckled. "Unlucky her. Still...Anyway, it didn't effect the rest of you all that much probably, because it wanted me. It made me think there was something mighty great to fight in there. I'm keeping it until I can get that piece of my soul back, then I'll probably stuff it in a box again."

Xardius considered what Nulix said. "That might be possible. Or they could have put the Virus inside the sword. That way they could have had a double protection thing going."

OOC: Xardius is attempting to brainstorm...
