Joshua is far across the marble floor, sitting on his onix throne, yet he hears the cold sarcasm as if Hanekoma is whispering into his ear, warm breath wetting his lobes. Neither man is smiling any longer, for how is Joshua to enjoy his silence when Hanekoma is criticising him and how is Hanekoma to smile when his Lord is unhappy? "You're right. I hate music. I suppose you can blame my father for that." Joshua's nose is crinkled slightly, as if he is more annoyed than he is (at this point, really, he is only slightly irritated). Hanekoma shrugs. He supposes some people never stop to listen. xxx In between lines of crowded, noisy bass, Neku swears he hears someone talking. He's heard voices inside his head before, and it feels a little like this. "Your faith was strong - " he presses the plastic closer to his skull " - But you needed proof. You saw her bathing on the roof; her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you." He pulls off his headphones and tosses them at the wall with force he didn't know was availiable. The voice is louder. "She broke your throne, she cut your hair, and from your lips she drew the h a l l e l u j a h." Shiki means the world, and he ends at her borders. Pins and needles and cherry blossoms at his wrists and she's screaming at him again to let her inside. "We're falling apart!" She yells, fists beating against his chest. Their shoes are red, the floor is red, shining like the devil's skin. xxx "Maybe I've been here before." It is your home. "I know this room, I have walked this floor." You slept here as a babe, and I watched over you like a Guardian Reaper-. "I used to live alone, before I knew you." We've always been together, Rhyme?./ She knows something is wrong, the way Beat is staring away from her without a smile. Ghosts whisper in his mind, telling him all the awful things. "I've seen your flag on the marble arch - LoVe is not a ViCtOrY march." Never have I loved since then! I don't mean to sound harsh or rude, but there's quite a lot to be improved upon here. Firstly, it looks like you just slapped text on a cropped image, and that can hardly be called editing. Read a LOT of tutorials, and work on colour pallettes and placement. While your character isn't in the worst spot, move him over even more. He's very awkwardly stuck in between ninths (look up rule of thirds). The text is placed even more awkwardly, and I am really hating how the colours are clashing up here. Don't use that bottom font, and if you're going for a raw power sig or subtle sig, having your text small and spaced between is good idea. Also, try finding a better quality image or fixing up the quality, it's not hard. Good luck and keep trying!
Adoring the shot with the cat <3 I love detail in it, and how sharp the focus is. Lovelovelove the sky shot, too. The lighting is fantastic. The sparkler pics are pretty cool, although I think the lighting and composition could be a little better. Shooting cambient things is a little harder, though, so props for thinking it! Out of curiosity, what camera do you use? And what mode?
I feel a bit late in responding to this thread but... Here goes. While I took leave from KHV, I had very, very similar problems (most of which are still going, but that's not the point). Although, not with music, love, and fantasy - more like writing, love, and fantasy. Starting with the creative aspect, I've listened to your music ever since you put Space Cartel on here a while back, and really look up to you for how good your stuff is. However, I know about there always being a sense of never getting anywhere with what you've done. I agree with you saying you've improved over time, and can also see how little you've been able to expand outwards. Waiting for a break is the worst. Silly as it may sound, have you tried doing any live stuff around your town? I know many a poet who's made good by going to slams and rapping for other shows. Even finding a street that you can freestyle around can really up productivity and also improve your skills even more. With love... That's a hard one. It really is. I'm a few years younger than you I think (going into sophomore year of high school), but I'll be damned if I haven't been through cutting and suicide attempts over the past two years because of emotional drama over that I still believe to be love. In the most serious times I broke down and talked to my friend. I've found that the best things I do at that time, though, are to push that rage and sorrow into my own art, writing. It doesn't quench, but it quells. And then fantasy. While I don't understand your mind, and won't claim to, I do feel like a good deal of it is "normal" - especially for an artist, creating these worlds that scare us while still being an escape is almost like becoming your muse, in a sense. Is your world more of an internal thing, does it include hallucinations, or is it mainly hallucinations? In any case, don't abandon your fantasies. I'd like to know a little more about it, if you don't mind. A bit for comparison, really. Finally, as for professional help and whatnot... It's not easy to ask for it. No one wants pity, or to admit that they need help. But, if nothing else, try to find someone online that you can talk to. To blow steam with. One of my best friends I actually met because she was asking for help online, and it ended up being that to date I've stopped her suicide three times. She's stopped cutting, and has improved her happiness. Just being able to talk to someone about her life and issues helped so much. Although I don't know you well at all, I'm around, even. If you feel you're ready or want to talk to a pro, then don't hold off. Go for it. It's helped so many people I know, and it might help you, too.

I suppose I'm big on aerial. I usually attack from above or try to hit enemies into the air and mash for aerial combos.
