" Why are they allowing you to walk around freely? You are a convicted criminal Mixt !!" Phisoxa shouted at him as she caught up to him. She didn't feel right letting a murderer just walk off, not matter what excuse he had.
" Shes probably still drying her hair knowing her... you shouldn't worry..." Phisoxa said with a soft sigh as her eyes fell on the appearance of Mixt in the hallway. Her eyes widened in shock and she backed away a little, unsure on what to do. She then made a bold move and followed after him. " Hey, where are you going ?!"
" Looks like this school might as well be going to hell.. and I'm not even finished with my schooling yet... I just hope they don't close it down because it's been tagged as unsafe...." Phisoxa said with a soft sigh. She looked extremely worried because if this school closed she had no place to go to. Her master had gone missing for several days and she wasn't sure where he had gone so she was screwed.
" Pretty soon winter is going to come... hopefully by then things will calm down and maybe have a good time.. I just hope I can regain my sanity by then though...." Phisoxa said with a sigh as she stood up. Suddenly a woman came marching down the hallway, looking a little pissed off. It was Juno the police officer and Phisoxa was about to ask her something but she ignored Phisoxa and kept going, disappearing into the shadow that fell upon the other end of the hall. " I see the thing with Mixt isn't going over well with the police either..."
Juno sighed and turned towards the door. " Alright then, I will give you some privacy. I will be back in ten minutes for some information alright..." Juno said as she walked out of the room, slamming the door behind her.
" The name's Phisoxa Mindell... and yes lately my mind has been alive with thoughts about what happened that night..." Phisoxa said with a soft sight as she pulled her knees up to her chin and rested her head on them. " I just wish things would return back to normal around here..." " Alright then... If you don't mind I need to interrogate your guy here, Mr. Xemit. I won't use any force.. just some questions about his past..." Juno said.
" My friend is in the girls restroom taking a shower... I wanted to escort her back to our dorm soon so that she doesn't risk some perverted buffoon making the moves on her like what had happened earlier...." Phisoxa said with a sigh as she rested her head against the wall behind her. Juno rose a brow at the man's claim. " Excuse me I don't remember the Academy saying anything of the sort... where is your identification?" Juno asked.
" Eh... I just hope hes alright..." Suri said as memories of what happened early flooded back into her mind and she began to worry again about her master as she followed the two.
Phisoxa turned to acknowledge Allen, just now recognizing who he was." Oh hey... I'm sorry for turning on you during the fight...." Phisoxa said as she set her book down on her lap. " So uh... why are you down here?" Phisoxa said as one of the lights at the end of the hall blinked out, immersing the other end of the hall in darkness.
After a while in the library Phisoxa had escorted Shero to the public washrooms to take a shower. As she waited around for Shero to finish Phisoxa stood out in the hallway reading her mythology book since she was studying for a test. The hallway was nearly empty except for Phisoxa who sat alone on a chair.
Both Shero and Phisoxa's eyes widened in shock as a bright blush appeared on Shero's cheeks and her hands went up to her mouth in surprise and a grimace appeared on Phisoxa's face as she took the book she was holding and threw it in Nny's direction. The book missed and ran right into the wall on the right side of the doorway due to Nny exiting the room too fast for Phisoxa to make a direct it. " Oh that little .... If I see him again I'm going to kick him into the curve !!!" Phisoxa said as the other students in the library told Phisoxa to quiet down.
Phisoxa was getting a bit ticked off at this point though she tried to keep her anger hidden as she walked over and stood in front of them, blocking their path. "Why are you so set on your dorm? Most dorms are plain without the correct accommodation to hold a study party.... nothing too grand about that. . . I think it's best we study together in someplace that has better accommodation and oh by the way shes not going anywhere without me, its nearing dark and its too dangerous to be out alone even in the school building without me..."
" Oh really you'd help me do that? My my aren't you so kind !! Sure I'd like to.." Shero said in a cheery voice as Phisoxa quickly caught on to what was taking place and stepped forward a bit. " How about we just study in the gardens? Its far too stuffy to be stuck in your room on a fine day like this... And hey I will come along as well, I need to read up on my mythology textbook for a test anyways !!" Phisoxa said trying to influence it in a attempt to steer Shero clear of making a mistake.
Phisoxa seemed to hesitate when it came to answering the boy after she heard them refer to them as beautiful. She sensed that something else was at work due to the fact that she always been given trouble by her male classmates about this sort of thing before. Though Shero who was a bit innocent minded and oblivious to it all went ahead and answered him. " Why yes, if you could be so kind and help us find a book about curse marks and dark plagues, I've been meaning to study about them ..." Shero said with a smile.
After finishing their chat about the strange events that had been happening recently Phisoxa and Shero took a stroll over to the library since Shero had to return some books that she had used to study for her Healer's exam a couple weeks ago. Shero handed the books in and then walked with Phisoxa to the massive array of bookshelves that seemed to go up to impossible heights, the tops of the book shelves going up so high that all you could see was a blanket of shadow keeping their tops and the ceiling if there was one at all in the first place hidden from those who looked out from the bottom.
Phisoxa looked to be even more dumbfounded by the strange mannerism of the man. " What.... light energy? I don't even know him..." Phisoxa thought aloud as she sighed and turned to Shero who came running over. " What did that stranger want Phisoxa?" Shero asked as Phisoxa shrugged. " I don't know but he was quite odd... I'm beginning to think I have stalkers... Maybe I should ask to change keys and locks on my dorm room..." Juno seemed to be slightly shocked at the man's commands. " Excuse me sir, who are you and what business do you have here to be ordering me around....?"
Suri took two small bottles out of her bag and pulled the corks out of both. She propped Vitan on her knee and forced some of the potion between his lips and poured the other in Vitan's wounds." This will keep it from getting infected... The other will lower the pain levels.."
Phisoxa rose her brow at the man, being slightly weirded out by the man now. " Its the 7th of Aiadeus, 780. .. sir, may I ask.. are you trying to sell me something?" Phisoxa said in a cautious manner, stepping back a little. Juno entered the room wearing a pair of black reading glasses and carrying a stack of papers. She then stopped near the table Mixt was sitting down at and set the papers down. "Its good to see you awake... I've come to tell you that the Janina Police Department will be moving you to your holding cell in two days time."
" I can try and ease the pain for a bit, but I'm no healing expert when it comes to open wounds."Suri said observing the damage as she reached into her bag, shaking a little still from the fright she had obtained from flying earlier.
Phisoxa rose a brow at the man's strange clothing choice and she wondered if the drugs had caused her to start seeing ghosts but she decided to throw out that possibility and speak to him. She told Shero to wait as she walked over to the man and stood in front of him. " Yes sir is there something you need?"
