Blinding lights whirled all around us. The transporter shook vigorously as we moved through time and space. Some of the crew even looked ready to vomit. Their faces were green and their hands were covering their mouths in preparation. Who knew how long we had to wait, or what would await us on the other side. It was a huge mystery to everyone. A mystery we were finally going to solve. What happened in those sixteen years? Why was the history never recorded? What was so momentous to stop the recording of history from 1998 to 2014?​

Begin transmission: "It finally stopped. We've begun setting up the site near the transporter. To think we've actually gone from 2337 all the way back to 1998. According to the transporter today's date is November 17, 1998. The new millenia hasn't even begun yet. Things seem strange here. It's all so empty and quiet. Garbage is everywhere, these strange vehicles are all parked in disarray. What happened here, to these people? There's not a one in sight. We were prepared to encounter busy city streets. To have to disguise the transporter from these 20th century people, but there's none around. Not a single living soul...Where...where did they go? Oh wait, there's one now! Team, finish setting up the site! We need to blend in with these people. What's wrong with that man? How is he functioning with that gaping head wound? He's just walking towards us absently. Someone stop him! Before he discovers the transporter! Jilsper! AHhh Help!! Someone help Jilpser! Why is that man trying to eat him?! Stop that man before he hurts someone else! BANG!"​

In the year 2337, scientists finally discovered a way to go back in time. They created a large transporter that could move up to nine people through time and space. A small group of scientists, varying in a range of fields, packed their bags and stepped into the machine with one goal in mind. Discovering what on Earth happened between the years 1998-2014 that the people of that time would not want recorded. No history of those sixteen years existed in any books. The people of the future want to know why, but might very well have bit off more then they could chew. When setting up camp, they are greeted by a man who appears to have no cognitive brain function and attacks one of the scientists on the team. The world appears to be dead, and empty, except for those that seem to refuse death.​

*gasp* OH NO! Another zombie RP you might say! Well get over it. =] This one at least shows that civilization can be saved, it's just a matter of how long it will take. It's kind of a Resident Evil meets Time Splitters sort of thing, but has nothing to do with either one of them.​

Just so everyone knows, the RP will start off right before they all take off for 1998. There are 4 available scientist positions. The other 4 will be NPC's that get eaten by zombies at some point. As you read above ^^, Jilsper is one that will obviously die. Don't fret though! There are plenty of Neanderthals, i mean 98er's people can play as. As for weapons, the scientists won't have any futuristic weapons on them. They are scientists, not intergalactic space police. Everyone is stuck using "primitive" equipment. The scientists shouldn't have any clue as to how to use shotguns/rifles from that era, so if you have a scientist they can't just pick up the gun and have a wicked mad shot. sorry, but rules are rules. They can use various equipment that they have on them from the study site and 98er's can already be equipped with weapons since they've been enduring the struggle for some time. Keep in mind though, not everyone should have a gun. Guns are loud and attract attention.

Bio: Thallen lived a happy, chaotic, life. He worked as a Lieutenant at the local precinct and enjoyed a good time with his partner. At home he had a loving wife and two children under 5, one boy and one girl. Everything was great for him until the virus hit. First it started off slowly, but then rapidly spread to every corner of the world. No one was safe, not anymore. Not from what the virus had done to all the infected people across the planet. It was an outbreak, no way to stop it. Once his wife became infected he began to lose it. The precinct had already fallen apart, monsters roamed the streets, and he couldn't even protect his family. The image of his children dying one by one after their mother passed continues to haunt him every time he closes his eyes.​

The World, is the largest online multi-player role playing game to have ever been created. It is used globally in more than 47 different countries and contained more than 1.6 billion users. CC Corp. is currently the highest grossing video game company in the world. After net issues in The World's predecessor, Fraction, game designer Harald Hoerwick may have come up with arguably the greatest game of all time. It stems throughout several age generations, with things for everyone to do. From questing, to Grunty raising, and all the way down the PVP [player versus player] fighting for those that feel monsters just aren't a big enough challenge. Many of the game's staff are also members of The World. Maintenance apparently doesn't just happen with a bunch of letters and numbers. They really get into the system and work it that way.
Hoerwick's idea for the game was originally based off of a poem called, TheEpitaph of Twilight, written by Emma Wielant. Much of The World's story line was originally based upon the poem, but then changed over time to meet the ever changing society that encompasses The World. Now it's just about monster hunting, making friends, and having an all around good old time. For a hefty start-up fee, that covers all the necessary equipment to play the game, and a small monthly fee; gamers of all ages can don on a virtual reality headset and hookup a gaming controller to their computer and become the newest citizen of The World.
The graphics in the computer game bring you back to a world before electricity, but with it's own form of developing technology, steam. There appear to be those that disapprove of the new form of technology since it requires killing special Grunties, and those that heavily rely on it. This division is what is currently becoming the new plot development in the game. Who will take control?

History Of The World​

Genesis of Grief

The Elder and Younger Deities.

Long, long ago before the earth and the heavens existed, two brothers lived in the world.
Able to read each other's hearts without so much as a glance, the two were fully satisfied.
The world was the two. The two were the world.
One day the Elder Deity accidentally broke the Younger Deity's treasured sword. Furious, the Younger Deity retaliated by slashing the Elder Deity's treasured spear with his broken sword. The spear was split in half and the Elder Deity erupted in anger.
And so, glaring at each other, one holding his broken sword, the other his broken spear they fought.
The War waged for seven days and seven nights. On the eighth day, the Younger Deity realized their foolishness and went to the Elder Deity to request a truce. But the Elder Deity, still blinded with anger, saw this as an opening and thrust his spear. The spear pierced the chest of the Younger Deity and took his life.
The Younger Deity's final breath became the heavens, and his fallen body became earth. The fountain of blood erupted high and became the sun. The broken sword shattered and formed the moons and stars in the heavens. Feeling great shame, the Elder Deity wept. His tears became rain and fell to earth, forming oceans in its deep contours.
From eternal tranquility, the world was set into motion.

New Life

A goddess was born, and so then was sound, names, and numerous lives. The last to be born were Elves, the creatures of destiny.

The Elder Deity mourned the loss of the Younger Deity for many years, but eventually he grew accustomed to his sad, lonely life.
One day, unable to bear his loneliness any longer, the Elder Deity removed one of his eyes and created a goddess. The new goddess looked at the Elder Deity and exclaimed: Thou art handsome. With this voice, the world was filled with sound.
The Elder Deity and the new goddess gave names to each other. The Elder Deity received the name of Sol the God of Creation and the goddess, Myulin the Goddess of Harvest. Then the Elder Deity created a land of the dead in the darkest part of the world and sealed the spirit of the Younger Deity and gave him the name of Cernunnos the Lord of the Dead. This was how all things were named and given a purpose. Sol gave birth to more gods and goddesses. Myulin gave the new gods names and Sol gave them purpose. One rules the sun, and another the oceans. One ruled the weaving thread, and another the stoves. This was how the sun traveled the sky, the oceans beat against the shores, the loom spit out threads, and the stoves held the fire within. Sol then gave birth to trees, plants, beasts, birds, fishes, and insects. They were all spread throughout the world and found a place to live.
The world was filled with life.
Last to be created were the Elves. Sol created them in his image and he loved them best. Sol asked all the gods and all creatures to grant the elves their blessings.
Each god, goddess and creature happily gave its blessings to the elves.
As a result, the elves were faster, stronger, smarter, and more beautiful than any other creature, and they were able to speak the language of all creatures.
However Cernunnos, the Lord of the Dead withheld his blessing from the elves. Unaware of darkness, the elven hearts were ever wrapped in light, but because of it the elves had an incredible innocence in them.

The Fools

Feeling the full fury of the gods, the elves lose all that were good in them and become Humans.

The gods entrusted the earth to the elves, and created their own realm in the heavens known as Airceltrai, the City of Dawn.
And so the elves ruled the earth
And the gods ruled the heavens.
The gods built a path connecting the earth and heaven and called it the Heavenly Path. The Heavenly Path was used to deliver the light of the heavens and the gods down to earth.
Guarded by the light of the sun and the light of the gods, life on earth flourished and it seems that peace would last forever.
But as time passed, the elves began to believe that their powers equaled those of the gods. They built the aerial fortress, Fort Ouph in the sky to enter the realm of the gods and insisted that they be treated as gods. Sol was furious and he took from the elves all that were good in them. The elves became slower, weaker, and uglier than any other creature.
Myulin scorned these foolish creatures and named them Humans.

The Despised

The Elves who did not raise their swords against the gods are turned into beasts.

There were some who protested the treatment of the elves at the hands of the gods.
They were the elves who did not wish to go against the gods.
They stormed the Heavenly Path and threw themselves before the gods and cried,“Why must you punish us when it was not us who drew our swords against you?”The gods answered,“That is true. But that is not the only sin.”The elves asked again,“What do you mean by that, oh gods?”The gods answered back.“Very well then. When your brethren raised their swords against us, where were you and what were you doing?”To that, the elves replied,“We were at the altars praying to you gods. We prayed that the fools who disobeyed you would receive your divine punishment.”The gods retorted,“Were you not merely praying that your own lives be spared?!”The elves faces turned red and they could not reply.
Suddenly the gods showed their anger.“You are more foolish than the fools who do not know their place! Lower even than the humans! From this day on, you will wear a mark showing your supposed innocence and piety!” And just as this thundering judgment was made, each of the elves that gathered at the Heavenly Path began to transform. They grew tails and their beautiful faces turned into those of beasts. When they saw how they had changed, they screamed in shame and disappeared to dark corners of the world.

Grunty Race


The Grunties were born solely of the goodness taken from the Elves, and ruled the earth with kindness.

Having lost their wisdom, humans brought war and chaos to the world.
They had been reduced to creatures concerned only with domination, and so they commenced to make war on all the other races.
Sol gazed down in sadness at the ruined earth and decided to use the goodness that he had taken from the elves to create the race of Grunties. He dispatched them to return peace to the world.
But the gods were afraid that the Grunties would suffer the same flaw as the elves and voiced objections to Sol’s action.
And so, Sol cast a curse upon the Grunties and proclaimed:“Listen carefully to me. I have cast a spell on you. It is a curse and a magic word is its key. If someone, even just one person on this earth says this word, a terrible calamity will befall on all of you.”
The Grunties beseeched him,“Great lord, when this calamity occurs, how are we to escape it?”Sol nodded his head an answered:“You must not oppress others. You must not be bitter. You must not be envious. Have a good and pure heart and live your days peacefully.”
The secret word was told to all gods and all creatures except for humans. The gods were satisfied and the Grunties were sent down to earth.
Without shedding a drop of blood, the Grunties stopped the violence of the humans. Overjoyed, the gods created magical powers and gave it to the Grunties. But even with such great power, the Grunties did not fall prey to the sin of pride.

Banquet of Conspiracy


Humans, the only race jealous of the Grunties, conspired and regained control of the earth, and once again prospered.

The Grunties were loved by all creatures with the exception of the bitterly jealous humans.
This was because all of the things that made Grunties so wonderful had once belonged to the humans.
Humans began to look for Grunties’ weaknesses and learned of the curse that Sol had cast on them. Overjoyed, the humans next set out to learn the secret word, but even the normally talkative monkey would not betray the secret word.
So the humans held a banquet and invited all the gods and creatures in order to fog their minds with drink.
One after another, the guests became intoxicated until finally only the snake, the strongest drinker, remained. The snake still would not tell the secret word, so the humans brought out their strongest drink and gave it to the snake. As expected, the snake became drunk and told the secret word to the humans.
The humans rejoiced and intoned the words.
Immediately, the Grunties lost their intelligence and found themselves unable to stand upright.
The humans called them Puchi Pongo and made them into their beasts of burden. Then they proceeded to continue their war against the other races.
For telling the secret words, the snake was punished by having to forever crawl about the earth on its stomach.

Path of Evil



The gods, falling into to despair, blocked their light from earth, and the unprotected land was corrupted by the Shadow.

The gods fell into despair over the humans’ deed.
They created a great gateway called Morrigu Barrow and blocked off all earthly access to the Heavenly Path so that none could enter heaven.
Along with the sealing of the Heavenly Path, the light of the gods was also blocked from earth. Without the protection of the gods, the earth gradually became wilder and began to be corrupted by a dark power called the Shadow. Corrupted by the Shadow, the earth overflowed with monsters and demons.
These demons roamed the world and killed everything in their path. Many creatures were lost as a result of their brutality.
Humans also came under attack by the monsters. They formed barriers in the major cities and closed themselves off. They fought against the monsters, but lost battle after battle. One by one, the cities were cut off from each other, and the barriers protecting the cities were destroyed one after another. Finally only five cities remained standing.

Goddess Aurora


Mankind's salvation was a young apprentice magician and eight gods. However, misfortune soon fell anyway.

The savior of mankind was a young apprentice magician.
He confined himself in the temple of Arche Koeln and prayed to the gods. In exchange for his life, he was able to call upon the six great spirits and two goddesses. The eight gods that were summoned were:
Vulcan the Fire Spirit,
Merrows the Water Spirit,
Krake the Wood Spirit,
Yarthkins the Earth Spirit,
Lanceor the Lightning Spirit,
Wryneck the Darkness Spirit,
Anu the Star Goddess, and
Aurora the Goddess of Light.
The light of the gods shined once more on the blessed earth and the Shadow was contained.
Thanks to the newfound peace, humans once again prospered, but it did not last long. Once the threat of the Shadow was gone, the humans began to fight with each other. After sealing the shadow, the eight gods and goddesses remained on earth, but some were angered by the foolishness of humans and others grieved their wretchedness and left until finally, only Aurora remained. Fearing that the light of heaven would again depart the earth, humans placed eight curses on Aurora and sealed her inside the Hulle Granz Cathedral.

Battle Against The Gods
When the gods learned that a goddess had been imprisoned, their fury knew no bounds and they vowed to destroy mankind. But the humans had no intention of meekly succumbing to extinction and used their magic powers to devise a weapon that they could use to fight against the gods. So began the war between the gods and the humans.
The humans were no match for the power of the gods. The Aerial City of Fort Ouph fell from the sky and the Highland City of Dun Loireag was crushed underneath it. The Cultural City of Carmina Gadelica was destroyed by the god of lightning and many lives were lost.
As a last resort, the humans took all of Aurora’s power, transformed it into magic power and fired it at the heavens. Heaven was engulfed in flame and the gods fled or fell burning to die upon the earth.
The humans sacrificed much as well. The Relic City Lia Fail, from where the goddess’s power was fired, was reduced to ashes and many excellent magicians died along with it.
And so ended the age of the gods.

Gods' Rebirth
All the gods in heaven disappeared.
But a single god who remained on earth lived.
This was the God of Law, Folset, who guarded the gate that blocked the Heavenly Path.
Winning the war against the gods, the humans wanted the wisdom and power of the gods and stormed Morrigu Barrow and demanded Folset to invite them in to the realm of the gods. But Folset refused to grant them entry.
At first, the humans pointed their weapons at Folset and demanded he open the gate. But Folset answered thus: “Do whatever you wish. There is no way any of your weapons can harm me.” The humans followed his words and tried to attack Folset in any way they could, but they were unable to harm even a single hair on his head.
Once they learned that force was to no avail, they tried to convince him to open the gates by seducing him with gifts.
After seeing the gifts, Folset said, “Build a mountain of gifts for me if you wish. I’ll make a mountain twice that size in an instant.”Before Folset was even finished completing his sentence, a mountain of gifts more lavish than the gifts of the humans sprang up before their eyes.
After learning that both force and flattery were of no avail, the humans got on their knees and begged pathetically.“If a power that is greater than the Shadow emerges, we would fall into ruin. But if we could regain the wisdom and power that lies beyond this gate, we would be able to protect ourselves and not fight one another. So please open the gate.” Folset laughed and answered them: “Was it not you who took up sword and shield and slew the gods? You should suffer for your sins.”
Protesting, the humans replied,“So you are saying that we should have simply allowed the gods to drive us all to extinction?” Folset shook his head and answered:“Recall first the sins that you committed. Is it not just that sinners receive judgment?”To this the humans could make no reply. Folset continued to speak:“But all beings have the right to atone for their sins. Human! Child of sin! If you want this gate opened, then bring back the lost gods. The gods will rise again, born from the dogma of the believers. If they are true gods, then I will open this gate. Bring back what has been lost and only then can you be pardoned.”
And so the humans argued over Gods’ Rebirth and once again made war against each other.

World Without Gods
The world fell into stagnation without the gods.
With none to command them, the sun stood in place and the tides ceased to ebb and flow. The looms gave forth no thread and the ovens no warmth. Mankind now had to perform all of these functions themselves.
Despite these hardships, humans did not cease their wars with each other. Soon they invented different types of magical tools to improve their lives.
Ten years after the Great War with the gods, a researcher visited the ruins of Fort Ouph. Many have avoided the ruins of Fort Ouph, Lia Fail, Carmina Gadelica, and Dun Loireag after the Great War in fear and hatred that they were haunted by the spirits of the dead gods and goddesses.
This belief was further enhanced by the fact that most who set out to explore the ruins never came back.
However this particular researcher did return and he brought along with him a creature with a body of a human and a head and tail of an animal. The creature was a Beast.
Humans and Beasts
At first, humans and beasts were friendly with each other.
But while the beasts revered nature and old ways, the humans were too innovative.
It was the beasts who first discovered the creatures called Chim Chims. When the beasts saw the light of the gods in the Chim Chims they decided to revere them as a legacy of the gods. But the humans captured the Chim Chims to research them and after discovering a way to extract energy from them, used them to invent steam machines. The beasts protested this treatment, but the humans would not listen.
As the humans’ use of steam technology advanced, they abandoned magic as old and obsolete. The beasts continued to revere magic culture and rejected steam technology. Humans scoffed at the beasts for being stubborn and small-minded, and beasts came to despise the humans’ foolishness.
Eventually the beasts decided they could not leave the Gods’ Rebirth to the fools and proclaimed that they too will participate in the Gods’ Rebirth. Folset granted their participation. Humans were outraged. They believed that the Gods’ Rebirth was their right.
The two sides’ antagonism toward each other began to deepen and finally war broke out.
Humans gathered their armies and steam weapons, but found their weapon production was lagging behind. Desperate, they built the great factory of Breg Epona, but still they were unable to create the necessary weapons.
Beasts were mighty in the ways of magic, but were small in numbers. They were unable to marshal a large enough army.
Humans were weaker but more numerous. Beasts were stronger, but fewer in number.
And the war continued to rage on.
Three Dogmas
Both humans and beasts grew tired of the long years of war. However, neither side was able to strike a decisive blow and none knew a way to stop the cycle of wars and bring the entire gruesome conflict to an end.
In this never-ending cycle, a new Faction was born. Composed of both humans and beasts, the new Faction concentrated on pure pursuit of power and incorporated the crest technology derided by humans and the steam technology loathed by beasts.
Both humans and beasts were afraid that this new faction would enter the wars, but they sent emissaries to both humans and beasts and called for a cease fire. At first, both races were hesitant, but they both were forced to accept from the sheer toll brought on by the war.
And so the war between the two races ended but the conflict continued. Beasts continued to insist on participating in the Gods’ Rebirth and the new faction proclaimed their participation as well.
Humans chanted for “Steam technology and innovation.” Beasts were for “crest technology and tradition.” And the new faction for “the pure pursuit of power.”
They began a quiet war without a show of force. No winner was decided in this war since no gods were born from any of these forces. The three-way war continued, and in time the factions came to be called the following:

Teutates the Pursuers
To this day, the three-way war knows no end, and it quietly drives the world ever closer to its doom.

Servers/Root Towns​

The World consists of five servers users can log into. Each server has a Root Town where users can buy items at shops, meet up for events, or give their character time to heal. Before logging out, users must return to their root town, they can do that by using a Chaos Gate. The chaos gate is what takes a player from a Root town to a field.

Chaos Gates/Fields/Dungeons​

The chaos gate connects users from Root Towns to fields where they may do battle. Battles can only be done in fields, this consists of PVPs and/or monster battles. Each field contains a dungeon which will have a special treasure in it if a player makes it all the way through. Users can operate the Chaos Gate by uttering a three keys words. A small list of key words has been provided. They must be entered Part A, then Part B, and finally Part C. Any combination of the three will work, as long as they are in the correct order.

Game Play​

Each person will have two characters that are the same person. They will contain the IRL character and the in game character. You will need images/descriptions for each of them. Each character will have a skill level that they start at, whether they are newbs or skilled players is completely up to you. You may have a second pair of characters just make sure you fill out two CS's. Everyone will start at Root Town Mac Anu, so your chara but be 30 or less. Try not to make it too high. We want everyone moving at the same pace. You can not access the next server until you've reached that skill level, but you can go back to previous servers. You can use the same Chaos Gate keywords at each server, the field will just be harder or easier, depending on which server you are playing on.

1. NO GODMODDING/POWER PLAYING!!!<-This is crucial even though it may seem hard at times with this particular RP, especially if two characters are in a PVP. If the two of you can't decide fairly as to who wins the battle, I will do it for you and you may not like the outcome.
2. The events related to the .hack//franchise are not apart of this RP.It's original, the actual storyline will soon be explained.
3. 3 strikes you're out! I mean it. This means godmodding/power playing, unannounced disappearances [<-i absolutely hate those], or consistently breaking any of the other rules.
4. Please, please, please tell me if you're going to be gone.I can not stress this enough. So many people disappear forever leaving everyone hanging that I just can not stand it. If you want out, tell me and I'll take care of it.
5. Follow the storyline.I don't mind people adding in their own creative ideas to keep the plot flowing, but don't go all hog-wild on me. I've taken a very long time to come up with the perfect way to do this RP. =[
6. Have fun! I mean it. It's not worth creating an RP if none of the participants are enjoying it.
7. Language/violence/sexual content-I don't mind it, I'm an adult, we all talk that way, but this is still KH_VIDS. It's not a chat room, so we still have to abide by the forum rules. No flamming or taking out your own personal hatred on someone's character. Also, you wouldn't be totally going at it with someone else's character on any actual MMORPG, so don't do it in my RP. Take it to the conversations, as they are now called, and leave the rest out of it. There shouldn't be too much blood and guts since it's supposed to be a computer game, not real life, but that doesn't mean your character can't die on occasion.

Most people were amazed that he even liked playing video games growing up. He always seemed like the type that only played chess and other mind teasing games. Bio: Jeremiah was studying in the library one day when he noticed a girl sitting a few tables away, going to town on what he could only presume was vulgar German words. He noticed her having a hard time trying to translate something. Jeremiah continued to ignore the girl for quite some time, until the constant throat clearing sound started to agitate him. Finally he walked over to her, looked at the thing she was trying to read, explained it in the simplest, most childlike manor and walked away. Bio: Hideki grew up in Tokyo, the son of two Japanese businesspeople. Hideki grew up privledged, being able to afford all of the nicest things. Will someone please explain to me what the fascination is with designing anime characters to be morbidly obese?? People take regular characters and just make them monstrous. Is it a fetish or something?? Do they like mostly naked fat anime characters, or is it supposed to be a joke??

I have table for a thread i'm working on putting up, but when i preview it it just turns into a list. is there some way i can get the table up on the new site? or will i just have to re-edit it into three lists??

also- my spoiler buttons keep ending up into threes. the first two buttons there is nothing there and the third has my spoiler. is there some way i can get rid of the first two? it's not like i'm putting [spoiler*][/*spoiler] three times either. i just entere it once.

first off, a thanks to those that said they wanted to help. i thought I'd add you all to this group and those that actually feel the urge to contribute can work with me here. our internet is getting fixed on Thursday so i'll put up what i have done for it so far. feel free to ask questions and add ideas. so i'm thinking about a .hack// based rp. it would be more focused on the actual game aspect of it, then any of the series. It would be about playing the game called 'The World' and wouldn't be based off of any one particular part of the .hack// franchise. i have a lot of the concept for it down in my head already, but i'm also looking for someone with a great deal of knowledge about to series to help me create it.
to actually join, you wouldn't need knowledge, it would just be another fantasy rp, but with both and IN Game and Real World side to it. you would need two images and names, one of your person and one for their online character and it would primarily be all about the rpg, but with slight IRL added to it as well. I wanna keep it very RPG and the characters would each have levels and skills and different classes.
I need someone's help creating it because just listing off some of the stuff for the rp in this interest check already makes my head hurt. actually creating the whole thing by myslef would probably give me an aneurism. lol

what does everyone think??

so here are some of the things that ventus and i sorta worked out before the group was formed:

-language/graphic content.
-I can't imagine there really being any sexual content in the rp, but it will probably need a mature rating right in the beginning for the violence.
-It all has to be in accordance with the forum rules
-Must Be Active <-this is super important! in order to successfully bring this RP to a close, everyone must be active and willing to post as frequently as possible.
-If you godmod or powerplay in ANY way, you will get a warning. If you do it again, the "RP makers" will kill your tribute and you'll be banned from the RP
-Ventus108, Saxima, AndrewTemari101, and Hyuge are the GM's. You must listen to us or perish! <-too harsh??​

do we want to post things like about: how the tribute location choosing will be done, via rules/guidelines or in a separate section in the OP? 'cause i can add that stuff in too. tribute location, how the scoring will be done, etc, etc.

EDIT: also, this is just a rough list. a few things ventus tossed my away, a few i told him/came up with on my own. i feel like for this RP the list will need to be much longer. objections??

Olivia ran around the house frantically checking last minute arrangements. The florist had called at the last minute claiming problems with the centerpiece arrangement that was supposed to be delivered. She had to fetch the garden and have him make one from the garden out back. Olivia caught the sight of smoke coming from the kitchen door and sighed in frustration. What now?! She pushed the doubled-doors open, anger apparent on her face. "What is going on? This is supposed to go smoothly!"

"Sorry mam. It's all under control now. There won't be any more problems." Olivia rubbed her temples as one of the cooks pulled out a fire extinguisher. The kitchen was engulfed in a cloud of white and she exhaled, a bit on edge. Tonight had to go off without a hitch. Any problems would not be tolerated. She glanced up at a clock on the wall and then exited the kitchen. 5:30. Guests would be arriving in just a half hour and she was running out of time. This would be one of the most important dinners of their lives.

Olivia moved into the dining room to make sure the maids had the table set accordingly. There were nametags on each of the plates, designating where all of the guests would sit. She nooded, pleased and double checked each of the place settings. It all looked right, but she had a sinking feeling that something was being forgotten. What could it be? Olivia left the empty dining room and went to search for Vito. She hadn't seen his face in a few hours. He said something about work and disappeared. She had been too preoccupied with the flower fiasco to listen and find out what it may have been about.

Rosalie checked herself one last time in the mirror. She didn't really understand why the invite had arrived in her mailbox, but it did. Sure, she knew Oliva and Vito, but not well. At least Evelyn was going. It would make the night slightly less torturesome. She had even managed to find a date, but the guy backed out at the last minute when he discovered how many mobsters would be there. She could understand not wanting to be caught in the crossfire, but now she would look like the Class B everyone viewed her as. Rosalie could handle being alone, but if she showed up with some, then it would just be a nightmare.

Rosalie picked up her bag and slipped into the jacket she had hanging on the hook. Her hair stood up high on her head and she smiled brightly as she stepped out into the brisk evening air. The car was already waiting for her when she walked out the door and she greeted the driver happily. Rosalie slid into the backseat.

The 1920's were a roaring time for the arts. Silent pictures were becoming popular, mobsters ruled the cities, and the prohibition had begun. Finding alcohol was anything but easy. The crime syndicate had taken over the bootlegging of moonshine. The Great Gatsby Speakeasy being right in the middle of it. It housed the mobs on both sides, being in the center of the rivalry. South run by the Italian mob leader, Vito Donato and the North run by the ruthless Irish man, Dante Vale. The source of their hatred coming from a long and distant past.

Dante grew up rather wealthy for an immigrated Irish boy. He had everything handed to him and he never worked a day in his life. One day, he met a good looking young boy from the south side and the two became fast friends. Vito grew up on a farm; the child of Italian immigrants. He and his family were dirt poor. They ate only what they grew and slaughtered. They drank only what came out of their well and their cows. It wasn't a fancy life, but it was a fairly comfortable one. One day, Dante was showing the north-side boy around the farm. Vito left for just a moment. He came back to the sight of his family's farm on fire. Apparently, an oil lamp had fallen over and set the fire. The crops and animals were lost. Dante, though he was the only one outside at the time, insisted he didn't set the fire. Vito never believed him. They hated each other because the Vito believed the Beanie burned down the farm, and Dante hated Vito because he blamed him for the fire.

The two grew up to be the most ruthless mobsters in the city of Chicago. Their trivial hate grew into an all out war. Recently, the fighting has decreased and they have been currently under a form of peace. Tonight will be another display of that peace, or will it?

Description: The over-emotional Rosalie Jennum is a long-time waitress at the Grand Gatsby Speakeasy and best friend of Evelyn Greywatch. Rosalie dreams of becoming a night club singer and is deeply envious of Kara Low for stealing her ‘would-be’ position at the speakeasy months ago.
Bio: Rosalie was a middle-class Italian girl in the city of Chicago. Chicago was where she had been born and raised so it only seemed right that she would want to remain there. As a child she loved to sing and that desire only grew once she came into adulthood. Rosalie got a job at the Gatsby when she turned 16 and has been waiting tables there ever since. A few months ago there was word about hiring a new singer to do the night performances and she started practicing for days. Her chance to finally making something of herself had come, only to get stolen by that floozy Candy. She despises that woman and watching her sing every night makes her skin crawl thinking about how it she be her on stage and not that woman.

Don't mess with this puma-like woman; she's stealthy and dangerous.
Description: This ultra flirty flapper is a performer that hits on all sixes at The Grand Gatsby Speakeasy. This dame is a real canary as a sizeable crowd gathers on a regular basis to hear her sing. By the piano, she appears angelic but if you double cross this doll, she’s likely to turn into a real bearcat.
Bio: Candy grew up in middle class surroundings, however, with a distant and cold family. Even from a young age, she's always been... flirty. She uses people for her own advantage, and most fall for it, because of her naturally sexy nature. Growing up without a loving family, Candy always felt lonely and needy. Maybe this accounts for her almost-compulsive need to act sexy, for the men's attention... maybe not. She's not one to discuss her deep-buried feelings of loneliness and neediness. But underneath all that flirtatious outer skin, there's a fragile woman just looking for the right man.

His outfit is known for boot legging as well as running protection rackets and casinos. He is the formidable enemy of Hal Sapone. However, these two crime outfits have recently made an agreement to work together in their boot legging efforts. All involved parties say this agreement won’t hold water long and someone will pull first blood…the only question is when and who.
Bio [back story you have for them]: From a young age Dante was prepared to be a crime boss. They had his father teach him everything he knew so when he died, he would be ready to take command of it. What they never knew was that inside Dante's head he was memorizing everything his dad taught his and figuring out was to improve on them. So when the day came when he took over his father's empire, he proved to be a much ruthless crime lord who doesn't shy away from drawing blood.

Not long after they had arrived in America did it find them. Tommy was at school when it had happened, but when he had come home, he found his parents dead. His neighbors took him in and raised him. When Tommy turned 17, he left the place he was staying and became a muscle man with some other kids from his school for a local gangster. He continued his life of crime until one night his life that he had been living got the best of him. He was ambushed by some thugs from another gang and almost killed him, when Vito had showed up and saved him. Tommy pledge his loyalty to him after he saved his life and would always be there for Vito.

The only person who can ever call him by his first or last name is Beanie O'Dannon (Dante Vale), and anyone else who even thinks about calling him something besides "Handsome" usually ends up in some sort of fight.
Description [the one posted in the list]: Handsome Sam is the ultimate ladies man and right hand man to Beanie O’Dannon. Sam has not always made the appropriate choices of women, however, and this may land him into a sticky situation if he is not careful. This cruel gangster has a history of blackmailing women that he’s been involved with...and it’s not for the money...it’s just for the sick joy of it.
Bio [back story you have for them]: When he was just a kid, he was kicked out of North Chicago Elementary for picking fights. He claims that it was all justified, as everyone else would gang up on him both physically and verbally, but nobody ever believed him. After he ran away at the tender age of eleven, he learned how to hold his own on the streets, and it was then that he first joined the mob, albeit with a different head; once he got his hands on his trademark silver pistol, he made sure to send a message to anyone and everyone who had ever dared to oppose him. When Dante (Beanie) stepped in, he had already made his way to the top of the pack, and after having seen what he was capable of, the new leader made him his right hand man. He absolutely hates it when anyone comments on his first or last name, as that was always where most of the verbal abuse of his childhood came from (calling him "Sammy" like a girl or saying something like "Oh look, he's McWorthy of an ass-whoopin'!"). All of that took its toll, and to this day some of his "exes" have yet to be seen again after their first date.

This smooth operator is the owner of a used furniture store and the speakeasy, The Grand Gatsby. This menacing lawbreaker is never seen without his faithful right hand man, Tommy ‘Four Gun’ Beagle.
Bio: Vito grew up on a farm in Texas after his parents immigrated from Italy. His family was very poor. Everything they ate or drank came out of their farm. After moving to South Side Chicago, he continued to farm with his family. Vito, who had no friends in Texas, soon made friends with a wealthy boy from North Side Chicago. The two became close friends after just a short time. Just a year after their meeting, The Donato family farm burned down. Vito immediately blamed his friend. The two never spoke again, their enemyship carrying over into adulthood.

Mona is known for her overly energetic personality but as the new girlfriend of a major crime boss - Beanie O’Bannon - some question whether she uses her extra energy for good or for criminal activity
Bio: Evelyn grew up in a very large family, that being so she never got very much individual attention from her parents and when she did she had to work hard for it. She soon discovered her love for dancing, she was good at it and when she danced all attention was on her. She loved to be in the spotlight and all the perks that came with it. She worked hard to become better, she had an unending determination to get this. She treated it all like a game where her goal was to win. And that she did, winning contest after contest to get bigger audiences and to eventually become national champion. There were rumors of backstabbing going on backstage, but with her innocence, how could they be true? However why she decided to go out with one of the main crime bosses is anybodies guess.

I'm thinking about working on a murder mystery roleplay. i'd be accepting about eight people and everyone that signed up would be required to post regularly. everyone would be crucial to the plot line and i wouldn't want anyone disappearing. a few may die throughout the course of the rp, so if someone decided they didn't want to be a part of the thread anymore, then they can die. it will be an rp that comes to a close, so it wont last forever.

okay so two problems: numero uno

the celestial mirror-
So we did what we're supposed to about talking to the mother and child and getting the father to come back from camp. Everything should be all good but it's not. once you get onto the crystal path there is a woman blocking the intersection m ask ing it so you can't go north to talk to the little boy and change the cloudy mirror into the celestial mirror. The strategy gyide doesn't mention this person and says you should just be able to do it. Does anyone no how to make her move? She talks aboyt the macalania temple and how there used to be a trew blocking that path so she couldn't use before.​

problem numero dose

getting anima-
So we didn't know that we needed to do all the destruction sphere stuff for the cloister of trials to get anima at the tine we were doing them. The only ones we got out of the six necessary were shiva at macalania and bahamut at bevelle, now it's time to go fight sin and we want anima but all the temples are blocked off because we're traitors. Is there still some way we can get back inside so we can get anima or are we screwed out of getting? Which then means we can't get the magus sisters since we need all the other aeons to get those lovely bug women.​

He learned from the cyclops that they were hunting for him because he was a demigod. When he found this out, he realized right then and there that his father was Hermes. Teal ran out of his home town in the country. On the way he found a katana and taught himself how to use it, all the while still being chased by the cyclops. He has been on the run from them for a few months, and manages to evade them every time they find him. Now he searches for a place of safety, hoping to finally get rid of these cyclops, as well as find out why he was being targeted by them.

When she woke, there were monsters on the street outside her house, getting ready to enter. She left through the back door, hoping to get away unseen, but they followed her. She ran away and was rescued by some demigods who explained everything to her and took her to the camp. She was claimed by Apollo and soon became the cabin leader.

Her mother still thinks she's been missing for two years, and has all but given up the search. She and her parents were bewildered, and had no idea what was going on. Then the monters attacked while she was at school. She ran away and has been running ever since.

A very light blue eye color, looking a bit out of place with such bright colors, with him wearing mainly dark clothes. A slightly pointed chin. A scar that begins at his temple, that runs down his cheek, ending at his chin, caused by a HellHound that he subsquently randomly flailed at with his dagger, his flails ended up killing the beast.

backstory: Born in Cambridge, Massachusets, his mother had always seemed to be a strange sort. Never allowing him a cell phone, or computer, claiming that, "They'll be able to find you!". Michael had always simply believed she meant something like rapists and murderers, being over-paranoid about the whole thing. He of course, was a happy child, more or less, until he entered his early fourteen - Whom he was led to believe was his biological father randomly left the household, no clue as to where he had gone or why. Michael had looked up to the man, and felt as if his main source to a guide in his life had left. His mother had also seemed to bottle up, her love and husband gone. He became a bit of a cold one. At fifteen, a form of Monster had attacked, subsequently destroying his small household, and killing his mother in the process, as she had taken the time to distract it, forcing her son out of the house.
other: He is simply a wandering soul at this point, and docking in Boston, as the constant barrage of monster attacks are always keeping him busy; Fleeing for his life, or fighting for it, with no knowledge of why this continuously occurs.

The Camp​

The camp is a safe-haven for demigods. It is run by Chiron, a Centaur that trained many important Greek Heroes in the old world. Each Godly parent has their own cabin where all of their children live. the person who has been there the longest out of each cabin or has gone on the most quests, is the cabin leader. The security guard is Argus, a creature of Hera. His entire body is completey covered in eyes, so he can see everything. Rumor has it that he never speaks due to the fact that there is an eye on his tongue as well. When Argus cries, it creates massive floods. The entire camp is temperature controlled. It can be the middle of a snowstorm in the Long Island Sound, and the if camp will appear as a beautiful summer day. The camp is protected by a large dragon guarding the boundry. The camp has a magical barrier around it, making it so beasts can not enter it and is shrouded in the mist so mortals never see it. The woods are however filled with monsters and it is ill-advised to enter by yourself. if you are caught out of your cabin after curfew, the harpies will eat you.

i've been reading a lot of Rick Riordan's books and i love greek mythology. even though a lot of this beginning stuff will be similar to his books, it's not actually based on them. you don't need to have read them to be a part of this rp, but some knowledge on greek mythology may help. if you don't know much, feel free to ask me anything you like. there will be an ooc thread set up too. do the asking there. in it will be family trees of the gods, pictures, different beasts, etc.

The Story​

It's more than just a myth. All those stories about heroes and gods really were true. it was hard to believe that everything i knew was a lie. That being dyslexic and having ADHD weren't really medical problems for me. That they were there to keep me alive. Finding out the truth from my father was ridiculou. Why on earth would I believe that i was 'gifted.' That the reason my mother wasn't around was because she was a god? it all sounded so absurd, at least until the monsters attacked. Why hadn't i ever seen them before? Why have they just appeared now? Everything is so bizarre.

The Scoop​

It's modern day. You can have a cell phone, BUT it's a very bad idea. The signal from the cell phone basically gives off a beacon to all the monsters about your exact location. Not exactly ideal if you want to stay alive.
If you are starting out at age 15 or 16, then your character will not know who their godly parent is. The parent will give them a sign [i'll be the one to show the sign]. It will be their symbol glowing about your character's body. If your character is older than 16, then they can be fully aware of who their parent is and already posses a weapon. Most mortal parents do not know that they were in love with a god/goddess. Most of the gods do not tell their mortal lover since it is too much to handle. Keep that in mind, you can't blame your mother or father that raised you.
To communicate over long distances, you will use an Iris message. Iris is the goddess of rainbows and is also a messenger goddess. If you make a small rainbow you can ask Iris to connect you with the person of your choice. She will not do it for free however. It requires a fee of one Golden Drachma. One coin is good for five minutes. If you wish to speak for longer then it requires more coins.

Golden Drachma-currency of the gods. it's very important. can find them with upper level monsters, you may also receive them from the gods themselves. My character will give you ten to start out with when you meet her. Use them wisely, they aren't around every corner.

Important Information​

You cannot be a son or daughter of the BIG 3. That consists of Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades. It also applies to Hera. She is not a part of the "big 3," but since she is the Goddess of Marriage, she has only ever been Faithful to Zeus. The three brothers agreed to a pact years ago. Since the children of the Big 3 have always been too powerful for their own good, the gods agreed to no longer have children with mortal women. If you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, feel the desire to be one of their sons or daughters, you must talk to me about it first. Keep in mind that this means that EVERYONE will be out to kill you.

Weapons are always a favorite part of discussion. There won't be a limit as to which weapons can be used. Whatever you pick though you have to make or go some place like Poseidon's forge to be made. Cyclope's are great at making weapons and if you are a Child of Hepheastus, you will have a natural skill at building things. It's up to you if you want to make items for other people.

feel free to be creative, but remember if your character is starting out without knowing their true identity, they won't have a weapon right away.​

Transportation​

Transportation will be necessary. If your character is of legal age to drive, then feel free to snag a car or two along the way. There are also different magical forms of transportation. These are things like chariots and the pegasi as stated in the creatures section. Depending on who your godly parent is, you may be able to travel quickly through water or air. Often times gods will also help you get somewhere, but they are tricky beings. There is always something you have to do for them if you want something to be done for you.

The different major locations that will be apart of the story will be placed in the ooc thread, just to keep this from getting too long. You need to make sure to check it every-once-in-awhile. New stuff will always be added to it. There will be things like pictures, family trees, the different teams you will form -which are constantly changing, other types of beasts, more gods listed, and the locations.
Just to make things simpler, I'm going to go with the idea Riordan had in his book and that Mount Olympus moves to whichever Western Civilization has become the most advanced. This would be North America. Although it orginated in Greece, Mount Olympus had moved to North America and so has the Underworld and all of it's beings. The Actual Mount Olympus is located above the Empire State Building and the entrance to the underworld is at the HOLLYWOOD sign in Los Angeles. If you have questions about where other significant places are, make sure to check the ooc thread, and if you don't see anything regarding it, feel free to ask me.

backstory: raiden met ammeritta while he was in colorado. after there was an attack on his home by some hellhounds, which to his father they just appeared as large dogs, he took off. raiden had no idea what was going on, why there was all of a sudden these creatures he had never seen before, and why it always felt as if his life was in danger. it wasn't until he met ammeritta in a diner one late night that things started to finally make sense. he didn't want to believe it, but everything started to make a lot more sense. why he was kicked out of almost all his schools, his ADHD, and the dyslexia. Ever since that night he has always traveled with her and helped others along the way.

backstory: Teal has known who his father is for a while. When he was a child he would always try and "borrow" items that his siblings had. He was always into Greek mythology, and it was his favorite subject. One day, he was attacked by cyclops and managed to get away for a while. He learned from the cyclops that they were hunting for him because he was a demigod. When he found this out, he realized right then and there that his father was Hermes. Teal ran out of his home town in the country. On the way he found a katana and taught himself how to use it, all the while still being chased by the cyclops. He has been on the run from them for a few months, and manages to evade them every time they find him. Now he searches for a place of safety, hoping to finally get rid of these cyclops, as well as find out why he was being targeted by them.
other: Teal does not pay attention to others too well unless it interests him. He also learns techniques very quickly, becoming somewhat adept at many different forms of the Katana, but has never been able to master them

Jet black hair that is constantly simply tuffled up, never bothered to fix it, of course, unless for a special occasion - Which never occurs, running from dangers and such. His hair reaches down to about his jawline, with his bangs to the tip of the nose. A very light blue eye color, looking a bit out of place with such bright colors, with him wearing mainly dark clothes. A slightly pointed chin. A scar that begins at his temple, that runs down his cheek, ending at his chin, caused by a HellHound that he subsquently randomly flailed at with his dagger, his flails ended up killing the beast.

backstory: Born in Cambridge, Massachusets, his mother had always seemed to be a strange sort. Never allowing him a cell phone, or computer, claiming that, "They'll be able to find you!". Michael had always simply believed she meant something like rapists and murderers, being over-paranoid about the whole thing. He of course, was a happy child, more or less, until he entered his early fourteen - Whom he was led to believe was his biological father randomly left the household, no clue as to where he had gone or why. Michael had looked up to the man, and felt as if his main source to a guide in his life had left. His mother had also seemed to bottle up, her love and husband gone. He became a bit of a cold one. At fifteen, a form of Monster had attacked, subsequently destroying his small household, and killing his mother in the process, as she had taken the time to distract it, forcing her son out of the house.
other: He is simply a wandering soul at this point, and docking in Boston, as the constant barrage of monster attacks are always keeping him busy; Fleeing for his life, or fighting for it, with no knowledge of why this continuously occurs.

Life for Samson was very well, until is mother was kidnapped and then killed by a feriocious Erinyes, or Fury. Ever since then, Samson has been on the run from the dangers of ancient Greek mythology creatures.

ok, so i got this idea based off of this computer game we have sittting around. [note: i have NOT played this game so yea] so the opening storyline thing may sound familiar to some people but just go with it ok. i've changed a few names and whatnot but otherwise the introduction information is the same okay?! ;)

EXPLORE MYSPERIOUS, DEEP PLACES...BEWARE, THE WAY IS GUARDED..BEHOLD, THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL...A BROKEN WORLD...AND THE POWER TO RULE THERE...ARE YOURS TO RECLAIM...

so here's the deal...
my internet wuz really messed up 4 awhile bc i had this virus and the antivirus program on the computer wuznt taking care of it...

like it wuz so bad that barely ne page sites wud load and u werent aloud 2 watch ne videos at all.
like youtube for instance: u click on a video and all there wud b is a blank black rectangle...thatz it...

so i installed this antivirus program that i had sitting in my room upstairs and within like 5 seconds of it being done installing it had already removed all the viruses causing problems. ☺ yippie!

all of a sudden {the very next day} there is this random spyware program on my computer "Spyware Protect 2009" and it blocks everything.
idk where it came from and i cant find ne file 4 it newheres to delete it.
i've even gone like deep within the hardrive and there is still nothing.

bc of this spyware program pritty much everything is blocked.
u type in a website and it says "security block" if ur lucky and keep hitting bak enuff times it will finally allow u 2 b on the page, but half the time u sit there 4ever doing it or it just duznt work.

idk wut 2 do ne more bc i cant get rid of the spyware program thatz all of a sudden on the computer.
fyi: it is not related to the antivirus program i installed at all...
i installed McAfee and this program is "Spyware Protect 2009"
completely unrelated...

One
Alone​

As I walked down that empty hallway, all I could feel was incomplete. I didn't know who I was or how I had gotten to this point. I couldn't remember the slightest thing about myself, other than what I could see in the reflection of a mirror. When I walked into the bathroom, I gazed at myself in the mirror. I stared for awhile, trying to remember anything that would tell me why I was standing there now.
The me in the mirror stared back with those questioning blue eyes. I noticed, that in certain lighting, the blue in my eyes looks purple near the pupil. My silvery-gray hair gleamed in the florescent lighting from above me. I was wearing a school uniform. It was purple and green with blue pants. I had checked all the local schools; none of them had this uniform.
I couldn't help but wonder who I was. I knew what everything around me was, but I couldn't remember anything relating to myself. The only thing I could remember were these past three days, after I woke up in the park.

I had woken up underneath a red tunnel slide. There was a blanket on top of me and a piece of paper clutched in my hand. The paper had a phone number written on it. Only a phone number. I had found some change in my pocket, so I walked over to the pay phone in the park. The buttons made a clicking sound as I punched in the digits. After I was done, the phone didn't ring. A machine on the other end of the line told me the number was disconnected.
The wind started to blow. There was definitely a drop in temperature. I had gone back to the tunnel slide to take shelter from the cold. For all I knew, I might have actually lived there. I fell asleep wrapped up in the blanket.
Damn, the sun was really bright the next morning. I pulled the blanket up over my eyes to block out the sun. Brr, my foot slipped out from underneath the blanket. I curled up into a ball, underneath the slide to keep my body in the warmth of the blanket. The birds were chirping in the background. My stomach started grumbling at that point. I knew I would have to find food soon; I spent all the money I had on the pay phone.
“STUPID PHONE NUMBER!â€
I saw some of the early morning joggers look toward the playground, but for all I could tell, they didn't see me. I peeked outside my blanket to see how many people were in the park already. 1...2...3...5...7 Seven people. Foofie! I didn't want anyone to see me. I slipped out from underneath the slide when no one was looking. I felt weird walking around with a blanket in my arms, so I hid it in the bushes. Ugh! My stomach started grumbling again. I felt disgusted with myself, but I was so hungry that I walked over to the trashcan. I gagged and dug through the trash. I didn't eat out of the garbage. It was disgusting. There was nothing to eat in the garbage.
I walked out of the park into the city. Where was I? The town was so big! There were cars zooming by everywhere. At one point, I had to jump out of the way so I didn't get hit. That's when I saw the hot dog vendor. I thought, maybe if I could sneak up behind him and grab one when he wasn't looking, I'd be okay. I had never stole anything before. At least, I hoped I had never stole. It's hard to be sure. I sighed. Standing there, while waiting for an opening, someone shook me.
“Excuse me, but young man, aren't you supposed to be in school right now?â€
School? This is a school uniform? I thought about what the woman said. After studying her over, I noticed she was wearing a uniform too. This can't be good, I thought as I stared at the badge on her chest.
“Are you listening boy? You should be in school right now. What's your name young man?†The police officer stared at me.
“I...don't know...†I responded as honestly as I could.
“What do you mean you 'don't know?'†The police lady was starting to get agitated. I didn't know how to explain it to her. Would she have even believed me if I told her the truth? Instead of sticking around to find out, I did the worst thing I could think of at the time. I ran. I ran as fast as I possibly could make myself on an empty stomach. I could hear the police officer behind me yelling to stop. I'm not sure if she was chasing after me or not, though. I didn't stop to look. By the time I had lightened my running, I was standing in front of a peculiar crescent shaped building. As far as I could tell, there were about six floors.
While standing there with my eyes fixated on the crescent building, I remembered something the police officer had said. My outfit is a school uniform? But to what school? Just then, my stomach grumbled again. Amidst all the running, I forgot about my hunger. I then became more hungry than before.
I eventually found some food around lunch time. It was...disgusting... When I was done eating the food that was too gross to describe, I decided to look into the area schools. I thought I might possibly be ably to find the school that this uniform belonged too. If I could find the school, then I would know who I was. Relieved, I started walking.
After visiting three different schools, I decided to call it quits for the night. I went back to the park to sleep for the night. My blanket was where I had left it earlier that morning. I was going to search more schools the next day. I curled up underneath the blanket. The air was getting colder.

The next morning when I woke up, I ditched the blanket right away, so I could immediately start my work. I had found some food late the night before; I had brought it back with me. I ate a small portion and left enough for later.
Searching all the schools was a slow process. It was even slower when you didn't have money to ride the bus or subway. I still didn't know what town I was in either. I was on my tenth school, three towns over, when I decided it was hopeless. No one at any of those schools had a uniform that looked like this, if they even had a uniform at all.
