This. I do think they really screw up some parts of the story too many times, and it should be common sense to avoid those kind of things (love triangles, shoving characters aside), but despite the shortcomings it has few great moments which makes it worth it. So I'm hopeful for book 3. Maybe they learned their lesson. The comedy has always been pretty consistently good too.
