Hoo boy. Well, from your join date I'd say you missed a few changes in ownership. It's been wild, man, but things finally seem to be calming down now. Sooo... good timing! :L Welcome back
Aaaand round two! Spoiler Click for source, lemme know if you're happy w/ it. Voilà! Spoiler Click for source, lemme know if you're satisfied. Since you're using it elsewhere you don't necessarily have to credit me, but please be sure to credit the original artist!
Here, I took a crack at an avatar. Let me know what you think while I work on your sig (which I assume was the second request?) Spoiler As always, click for source.
I could tell you why I disagree, but I have a much more compelling point: We have plenty of more convincing scumreads to work with right now. I appreciate you putting your thoughts down for posterity, though, and you're not exactly wrong. I'd like to, but first I want to see how this sub sitch pans out.
Gotta go to class, won't be back for several hours. May be able to view the thread, won't be able to post. Parting thoughts: Don't trust Cstar, that post reeks of desperation. On the verge of giving Karuta the benefit of the doubt just because he's the only one who showed up after the mentions. Reserving judgement on Sax and Korosu until we figure out the sub situation (We may need two, actually).
Pretty sure she used a line like that in one of her other games too, and she was Mafia there. Any rate, the dead can't talk, so it doesn't do us much good.
Someone get Papyrus away from the copier
I know how to get Cam at least *clears throat* ASAMI IS SHIT
Might be on to something there. We can confirm it with Cstar's flip.
It's always better to take the time we're given. I could explain in more detail if we weren't currently playing, but basically we need people to commit statements for the record. If they refuse to, then that in itself can be a tell as well. Also, Marushi's plan is to die today, so the more time she has to work with us, the better.
As if we needed further proof that we're right about him :v v: :v v:
@Judge Sunrose Does this admission change your read of Midnight? Because to me it makes her "dilemma" read like scum attached to scum.
I'm starting to understand your confidence in this, Mar. I may be on board with this plan after all. First things first, though... If Cstar and Al are Mafiosi, that's two out of four. I have Midnight as my third. I believe one of our low posters is the fourth. @Saxima @Korosu @Karuta Last chance to speak before I start casing you. Who are your Mafia reads?
...That's a good point. Actually, they could very well be co-aligned.
...Fine. ##Unvote But I don't like this. Al is still a hard confirm in my mind, but from looking at the way he cased Cstar in this post I don't believe they're aligned. I'd rather take the risk with one or the other than lynch you to get them both. If anyone else votes for Marushi before more time has passed, consider yourself scumlocked. We are NOT risking the Mafia piling on her until we've had more time to talk.[DOUBLEPOST=1470064827][/DOUBLEPOST]Meanwhile, he defended Midnight in the same breath, vehemently and mostly without prompt. Lookin' pretty bad for her rn.
Whoa whoa whoa. Listen, I understand where you're coming from, but that's potentially two Townies for one Mafiosi. We shouldn't risk it. Look, at the very least, let's wait and see if they say who their Lovers are. If they don't come through, it's still safer to lynch one of them; they could be Mafia linked to their buddies, or not linked to anyone else. We have to be careful not to drop below parity here. Also, Midnight just shot up my Maf list for how willing and downright eager she was to jump on this idea. So you may've flushed another one out already.
u c there's like 20 on this forum
I'd be interested to know more about this. Eagerly awaiting that case.
Maru, I apologize; I just realized I missed one of your mentions of me. That fills in the blanks a bit in our discussion, and I should've addressed it. But we're basically talking about the same thing now with regards to Cstar/Judge. I can tell you that Splodge's voting for them in Cal's name is as ambiguous as his defending Cal; he could've been trying to implicate Town for attacking Town. People keep bringing this up, so I'm just going to address it for the record. I don't do round-table reads. (I just made that up, it means reading the entire player list.) You guys can find fault with me for that if you like, but I don't see the point in them. It's just a lot of fluff and empty words and it's too easy to fake like you have an opinion on people when you're really just regurgitating what's already been said. That and I just don't have the attention span to keep track of every single player's posts and everything they say in relation to every other player, for no reason other than to be prepared. I form connections, and follow those connections back through ISOs, which is what I'm doing now. Right now I'm looking at Splodge and Al's post history to see if I can link anyone else to them. I'm also reviewing Cstar, because despite what I just said she is flying especially low under my radar and it's bothering me. Right away, this post from Cstar irks me in hindsight because it seems like she was explicitly trying not to scumread Splodge. I believe Splodge voted for her after this? So it may have been a sloppy attempt at distancing on his part.
First off, my case against Cal has nothing to do with Splodge and Al's alignments. I believe I was in the right to case her—two posts to the contrary of about a dozen that support my point does not a counter-argument make—but clearly I was wrong. Second, the evidence that supports them being co-aligned is more ambiguous than my evidence that they are opposed. What Splodge did could be done from any alignment configuration; what Cal did to him could only be done if they weren't on the same team. I was actually much more confident from the get-go that Splodge and Cal were opposed, because for how unlikely it is that she'd poke at Al's grammar later on, I cannot fathom a situation where it makes sense that one of her first posts would be nitpicking a scumbud's grammar. Step back and think about it for a second. Why would she want to draw undue attention to him so early on? There's no benefit to the scumteam. The only way it makes sense is if it was an intentional misdirection, and as I said before, I don't believe they'd be brave enough to try that.
