Despite the punch like nudge to his gut, Chrono remained standing as the dragon took its turn sniffing him while his sister continued to pet it. He stood still for the first bit of this before finally reaching out to pet the dragon himself. It was acting more like a pet dog than a dragon, harmless and just wanting to know more. With the potential threat of being attacked appearing to be gone, how cool it was to be actually petting a dragon started to sink in.

The sudden gust of wind had knocked Chrono back a bit and it looked like their dragon friend had noticed something. He gave Take a nod, summoned his own glider and took off. He flew until he was essentially right besides Take and then maintain the same speed as his friend. "If it makes you feel any better, I can hang back with you." It must've been odd for Take to have a dragon not trying to kill him.

Despite how on edge Chrono had been throughout the entire conversation with this man, he found himself unable to move after the pillar of white flames rain down onto the exact spot Ardyn had been standing. Surprise had turned to confusion and shock when the source of the attack had been a dragon. Flesh, blood, massive and staring down right at them.

Chrono took a second to glance over to Take, who had fortunately been restrained by Boreas when he'd tried to attack the dragon, and back to the dragon. Maybe this dragon was friendly, it hasn't tried killing them yet and it certainly had a golden chance to do so. "Do you want to help us?" Chrono relaxed slightly, yet his keyblade was still in hand in case it turned out to be needed. Hopefully, the dragon wouldn't be the reason why it was needed.

It was odd having someone stand on his hand, but at the same time, he didn't really say much about it. Auburn didn't look like she wanted to talk about it at all. Lazuli could understand that and hoped that she'd at least give him a head up for when she started returning to her normal size. Over time there weren't any signs of that happening, but they get closer to the temple. By that, they'd really only gotten close enough to see it and not actually there yet. "I don't suppose anyone else has a semblance that could help here?"

Kel hadn't gone all that far from where he started before he heard someone else's voice. This leads to him spotting a smaller boat that had also crashed here and the presumed captain of said boat yelling at the sea. Pretty normal up until the part in which Kel swore he saw the water trip the girl. First talking trees, then magical oceans. It further made it clear that he wasn't in the same world he was in before. While dusting herself off, the girl noticed him and got him confused for someone else. "Um, no. I'm Kel. Not Maui and certainly not a demigod."

Once again it didn't seem like this guy was lying to them about Torrin's whereabouts, but that didn't change how he generally felt about him. Not to mention he'd specifically said 'other members of your party' meaning he must've run into them at some point. More and more the reasons for Chrono to not trust this guy grew which furthered the desire to get as far away from this guy as possible. Really the only thing that kept him from bringing back out his own glider was the lack of directions they had, which while they were given vague ones and the landmark should be enough. Just up and leaving without knowing what this guy would do wasn't something Chrono wanted.

It didn't take long for them to catch up to the guy after Evie had tripped them and about all of their elemental attacks hit their mark. The actual confrontation part had its own set of issues as with the first few things this guy had said and the fact that he'd sent dot flying into the distance made it even clearer that they weren't the talking type. "There's no way around this, is there?" Gale said to himself more so than anyone else.

The man didn't seem like he was lying about Torrin being sent to a dungeon, but at the same time Chrono saw no reason to outright trust him. The guy had just taken a glaive to his chest and pulled it out like it was nothing. This guy was a monster, plain and simple. What made matters worse was what Tinarah had said. Her guard seeming to be lowered as she following her statement. "There's no guarantee that he'll take you to the same dungeon Torrin's in even if he's telling the truth. It's better if we stick together." There was no way in hell he was going to let some guy like that whisked away his sister to who knows were.

Moments passed as Kel continued to lay motionless on the sandy surface he'd washed up on. Gradually though he started to awaken, first signaled by minor twitching in his fingers. That soon escalated to full-blown coughing as his lungs worked to clear themselves of the seawater that had found its way there. When all the water was finally expelled from his system, Kel's eyes opened and noticed that he was someplace highly unfamiliar. Not to mention that he didn't see Luna or Aislinn anywhere. Were they both still on the ship? It would be good if they were, but he had no way of getting in contact with them should that be the case. By this point, Kel had been sitting up on the sandy surface long enough for him to decide that getting a look at where he'd ended up was the better course of action. He pushed up himself up to his feet and started to move despite his clothing being damp. It was bothersome, but on the grand scheme of things, it was the least of his concerns right now.

With the Englishmen being willing to give them a ride on their ship Kel sauntered aboard the ship and found himself a place by the side to watch the waves as they sailed. At the time it had seemed like a good idea, getting a close look at the seas and the animals that might choose to breach while he was looking out. In a sense, he was getting close to nature without actually getting into the water. That had been the intention behind his actions.

However, when the storm had struck the boat, the first major wave that hit them both knocked the keyblade wielder off balance and off the boat towards the waters below. At first, Kel was able to keep himself afloat, as it was all he really knew how to do, but wave after wave continued to crash into him, knocking him back under water and slowly sapping away at the stamina. Try as he might, this wasn't a battle he was going to win mad evident by the darkness that engulfed his vision as the waves collided into him one last time.

Despite the fact that Boreas had just sped on past him, he caught notice of the thumbs up that was thrown his direction as he sped off. It left a sense of accomplishment was felt as he continued to fly off. As good as it felt, Chrono made sure to not let that distract him. The last thing he wanted was to fall from this height. No sooner than he'd said that, Chrono managed to catch the glimpse of the crimson blade that flew past them and Torrin starting to fall. The first thought that ran through his mind was where had the blade come from? It came from beneath them but with all the trees that covered the area that little piece of knowledge wasn't helpful. Despite his previous thoughts prior to this occurrence, Chrono dove down into the thicket behind Tinarah and the others. During the descent down he'd heard an unrecognizable voice which led to more concerns for him to feel. His glider had pulled up a few feet off the ground and Chrono got off and landed on the ground effectively between Tinarah and whoever it was she was speaking with. His glider deformed and his own keyblade appeared in his hand and at the ready depending on what would happen next.

Chrono might not have disagreed with the notion of them needing to get more practice in with their gliders, he didn't think that meant that they couldn't learn another means of travel alongside it. After all, it wasn't like they were going to lose their gliders anytime soon anyway and flying on their own accord, somewhat, as a result of fairy magic would be a once in a lifetime thing. Of course with that being that case he would want to try it once while they were here.

Still, Chrono summoned his keyblade and turned it into its glider form and hopped on it. He had a much easier time getting on the glider and getting it to move. Not quite as easily as he would've liked, but this was the only second time he's ever ridden it. There was still plenty of room to improve.

Zephyr waited til the current conversation had come to a close before speaking up himself. "Hey Midarah, can I speak with you in private when we get back." The ominous warning that the spider demon had left them was still on his mind, which at the very least was something Midarah should know about. That said, when he'd it aloud he wouldn't be surprised if everyone was wondering what it was now. Even still there wasn't much that could be done about that. Zephyr still sat by awaiting his answer.

The willow tree knew a lot about what had gone on outside and even had a way for them to help. A pathway had opened up for them to take. It had guided them to a keyhole, something Kel had not seen for quite some time. "A keyhole, that makes sense strangely enough." Keyhole aside, Kel had started to look around to see if there was anything else was to notice.

Morning had arisen and Kel had evidently been the last to awaken, though it was no fault of his own. Asking the Englishmen for a lift was the best option that they had really, so why not go for it. That was the intention anyway before they ended up stumbling upon a talking tree. Kel was actually a bit surprised by that too. "You can tell?" Kel remarked, following the trees comment towards Luna.

Despite his fear of falling, Chrono wasn't opposed to the idea of them flying by means that wasn't their glider and so when they had started to float in the air he found himself momentarily in awe at how weightless he seemed. The moment was fleeting for an outcry of Torrin's had grounded the group before they could truly start flying. Slightly disappointed at this matter, Chrono had followed behind the others as they left.

Kel had silently listened to what Aislinn had to get off of her chest. It was something that he'd never really considered up until now. He had just chosen to leave one day and that was that. By no means was it a comparable situation to what Aislinn was going through. "Well." His slow shifting of wight had come to a close and instead, he turned his attention up towards the stars to admire just how many were up above, shining brightly in the night's sky. "With us being so far away from our homes, hoping for the best is really all we're left with. If everything goes well then your home should be fine." If this could give her something positive to think about until that day came, then Kel could consider his advice to be a success. For now, he nodded at the notion of getting some sleep after looking away from the stars.

Being royalty really did come with its own share of weight and while he wouldn't be able to truly understand it, he did know where Luna was coming from and merely smiled as a result. That smile lasted as he shifted awkwardly as he knew not what to do when Aislinn had started crying. He rarely knew what to do in these kind of situations and was fully ready to let Luna handle it herself, but he felt the need to say something. "Everyone gets homesick now and again, more reason to bring this whole thing with No heart to a close right?" Kel said with a light-hearted chuckle hoping that would help.
