"Did the Light Chaser to keep an eye on us, or does he need the Orichalcum for his own purposes?"Despite the seeming calmness in his voice, Chrono was very much on edge and glaring at Ardyn. This was the last thing that Chrono wanted to deal with right now and the fact that he knew about their father somehow only made things worse. The tension of the situation had left him ready to act the moment it became needed.
The instant the heartless came into view and was in a somewhat stationary position, Kel brought out his keyblade and readied himself to attack. Sora took the first step and the footing beneath them vanished, causing them to fall into the darkness once again. This time he landed flat on his face and got up slowly with a groan to find himself back at the mouth of the whale. The anatomy of this whale had to be seriously messed up given that they fell down and somehow ended up back at the whale's mouth. Okay that aside, everyone else seemed to be here as well. Kel felt relieved to see Luna given he'd fallen off the boat first back on with John Smith, surprised to see Karina here too and glad to see everyone else that he knew. The ones he didn't, well he supposed it was good to see them. Aux also made it into that category since his opinion on him was low, but not cause of any personal reasons. Mainly due to the lack of any interactions with him. With his keyblade still in hand, Kel got up himself. "As good as it is to see everyone again, we still have some kids to rescue if anyone wants to help."
Kel went right
Following behind Ignis as they ran through chamber after chamber in pursuit of the heartless that had taken Kairi and Pinnochio, the brief appearance of a ghost face was actually unnerving for the brief second it had appeared. "I saw it too, but it looks like it's gone now." He made sure to take a careful look around after saying that. "Let's just keep going." Thus Kel turned right and continued going in that direction.
Fluffkins seemed to be pleased with herself with the simple act of getting some of her spit in Shawn's hair as well as Zephyr's frantic acts to get her attention. However, despite all of this something was still amiss. The other mage had brushed her fur, without her approval no less. Who did he think he was, stroking her majestic rainbow fur like that. It was time to teach them a lesson. She ignored the treats offered to her and pushed her way past the gate and towards the nearest patch of mud. Her next step was prance about in said mud, splashing it about everywhere as best as she could. The 'splat' sound had caused a concerned look on Zephyr's face to form and slowly he looked up to find Fluffkins prancing about mud, making a mess both around and on her. "You've got to be kidding me." Slowly, but surely, Zephyr was starting to dislike Alpacas. Skeletal figures, spirits, old lady, Maira made note of all of what they were told in order to put it to good use later on. Fortunately, Conrad had spoken up after Lakoda was put on the spot, which allowed Maira to save her 'she's just shy' card for another time. She didn't have much else to ask, so she just kept an ear out for anything Drove might say in response to Conrad that would be helpful.
"Let's investigate the company first. If that doesn't work out then we'll go with that." Chrono said. Even though he did plan on coming back here at some point, actually being back here right now was felt as odd as it was discomforting. Not because his sister and some of his friends had ended up coming here as well, but the lack of mental preparation was slowly taking a toll on him. He would be able to bear with it for now, but for how long he wasn't sure about. Especially if they ended up needing to go home. "Everyone okay with that?" He'd asked mainly to see if anyone else had any ideas or suggestions.
Kel supposed that he couldn't be surprised to hear that two new people had tagged along in the worlds she had gone to when they had just gotten Marx's to join them and he was a wolf when they first ran into him. Just as they had entered the next chamber, two heartless had dropped down from up above, coinciding with Sora kicking the wall in frustration, nabbed both Kairi and Pinnochio and ran off. "Well don't just stand there, we won't find them just standing around here." He said to Sora, then followed behind the others in the direction they had gone.
Kel, not trusting the direction that Pinnichio wanted to go in, opted to go right
Chrono let Tinarah do most of the explaining as to why they wouldn't want to actually see their father and simply put he didn't know how to explain any of this to their father. Part of him didn't even know if he could bring himself to face his father after being gone for 3 years on top of everything else that's occurred. The time to ponder this was cut short when Master Fost opened up a doorway to their homeworld. The immediate first thing that went through his mind was why did Fost pick this place to drop them off. The only reason he didn't immediately walk out of the alleyway was the risk of him being recognized by anyone. "Well, ignoring the smell, this is home alright." His attention was aimed at the skyscrapers up above and in the distance.
Kel honestly wasn't really concerned with how he was literally dragging Pinnichio along to keep him from running off again would be perceived by other people, mainly cause he didn't actually think he would run into anyone else so soon. So running into Kaida, AJ, and Kairi was a nice surprise and so he waved his hand to signal that he's spotted her. Though, when the little kid, who was apparently Sora, came rushing at him with his wooden sword cause of the misunderstanding. Kel with no hesitation let go of Pinnochio and stepped away with his hands in the air. "See, I've let him go and not hurting him." Though unfazed by his attempt to attack, it would be better to not retaliate. He would still dodge if need be.
Kel made sure to grab onto Pinnochio to make sure that he wouldn't go anywhere else while he went Left as stated above, Kel went Left
"I think so." He would probably need to look for it if he did still have it. Alternatively, he could just use his keyblade as a method of unlocking the door, just like he did with the lock back at Eventide Town. "If nothing drastic has changed then I should be able to." Didn't change his own worries about sneaking back into his home just to get his notes and his mother's research, but he would have to deal with it. No matter how much it would still be constantly bothering him in the end.
"Yeah, Kaida and AJ were with a for a bit before we got separated somehow."Kel explained, the motioned to Pinnochio. "That would be him, he's Gepetto's son." He took his eyes off the little puppet kid just long enough make sure that the direction he wanted to go in was the right one, but Pinnochio had other plans and ran off in the wrong direction. "Hey, get back here!" Pinnochio was already gone by the time he'd spoken. Groaning, Kel looked towards the others he said, "We should go get him before something else happens" before chasing after him.
"I have a few, perhaps the library would have some helpful information." Chrono said. He doubted that they would find anything on helpful or extensive on Oricalchum, but at the very least the company they were looking for would have some public information they could take advantage of. Alternatively, he still had the notes that he made and hat their mother had back home, at the very least his own notes could have something of use. Now the risk of running into their father was the main reason behind his uncertainty of doing this as their first option. He wasn't sure if he could face his father when he had decided to just up and leave and he was even less certain about that now after everything that's happened from that day up til now. Hopefully, it wouldn't have to come to that though.
So this was Fost, the other Master that his sister had fond memories of while in the Mirror Realm. This being the first time that he's actually interacted with the guy, he wasn't completely sure how he felt about him. More important than that though, he didn't know just how he would get back to his homeworld. He didn't know how Tinarah left and how he didn't wasn't the most reliable way from what he learned later on with Atmos. "Some help getting there would be appreciated, thanks." Once again they were given an offer of help from the council and while it was appreciated, Chrono rather hoped that it wouldn't come to that at all. The bigger the mess, the greater the chance that their father would be more involved than he already was. "I'm as ready as I'll ever be." Which was to say, not that ready. Not that he was going to actually say that to Fost at all.
"You're not really going to find them if you're just hiding from them all the way here." Kel said. He wasn't sure what to think of Pinocchio's nose growing, so he just left it alone. If anyone would have an answer to that, it would likely be Gepetto. Kel had started to make his right turn when evidently someone else had entered. "Ignis? Don't tell me you got eaten by this whale too?"
If finding a solution was as easy and Master Kaios made it seemed, Chrono would've done so earlier. He could see that any further mention of this would be pointless, even if Gero hadn't dismissed the meeting. At the very least they were given a backup plan if things really took a turn for the worse. Though bringing their father here would likely add even more questions to the long list of ones he would definitely have if he saw either Tinarah or himself again and that would be an ordeal in itself. "It's about all we can do really." He said with a slight smile. The concerns of his head had started calming down which made him feel a little bit better. At the very least they wouldn't be going through this alone. Take was one of his closest friends here, Illiana he had no ill will against. In fact, he didn't really have much of an opinion on her beyond her tendency to stick to her own goals regardless of the situation. Lastly, there was Chrys, who while he didn't completely trust her, she wasn't Koa or Dentro (the latter Chrono finally got to punch thanks to the mirage arena) which meant there was no reason for him to be anything, but cautious around her. "Hopefully that involvement of ours doesn't escalate any further than it already has. This is already a lot more than I was expecting." Which, in retrospect, made his original intention on doing all alone a lot riskier had he actually gone through with it.
The name given to him had given him something else to focus on, but it wasn't the most helpful of things in calming himself down. "Orichalcum, least what it was and how they were trying to use it." Chrono answered. He looked at those notes and spent enough time both rewriting them into his own journal and trying to make sense of it himself to know that that one word appeared numerous times throughout everything his mother had. The concerns of his sister matched the ones of his own. Their father had been the last person that he wanted to involve in all that, even more so now that Tinarah was pretty involved in this. As Chrono waited to hear what the council would say regarding the deal with their father, not that he had high hopes regarding what some of them would say, he started looking around to find another distraction of sorts. Which lead to him spotting Illiana walking out while just catching what she said before fully leaving the meeting. It was odd hearing that she was going to go with them like, though he supposed it made sense given the other option she could've gone. She didn't seem like someone who would like the realm of darkness and the closest (MoK assumes) he's gotten was that time in the incredible world. Not pleasant, not pleasant at all.

Admittedly when the Mark of Mastery exams where first mention, Chrono was unsure of what to think of it. Before it would've been a clear lack of interest as he held no real desires to become a master and while that feeling of his hadn't completely changed, now it was at least accompanied by the curiosity of what benefits they would supposedly get by achieving this title. It was a mild curiosity at best, however. The topic shifted to armor and hearing where they would be found left Chrono in a state of visible shock. A swarm of questions and concerned rushed through his mind, most of which was in regards to what if he ran into their father while there and how would he explain where's he's been for him. More so how would he explain Tinarah's current situation to him? Neither of which had an easy answer, if any answer at all, which only added on to the concern building up. The initial shock had faded somewhat but was still noticeable. "What kind of material is it?" He wanted to know, if not just to give him something else to focus on beyond the various concerns
