I can imagine he'll be a lot more like he acts toward the end of the second day and when he's fighting Sora. Cocky, stubborn, hot-tempered, and sarcastic around enemies. Playful and compassionate around friends - Namine and Axel specifically.
Roxas was born as all Nobodies are born. His other lost his heart. When Sora impaled himself on the Soul Taker (Riku's Dark Keyblade - yes, it DOES have a name) to release Kairi's heart and reveal the final Keyhole, his own heart was released to the darkness. It left his body and became a Shadow, as we see in that tiny stint in Hollow Bastion. Because his heart was so strong, his body and soul (you people keep forgetting: a Nobody is created by the combination of the body and soul of a strong hearted person, not just the body and not just the soul, and not some other form of life that seems to come at random to you people) was able to carry on with a will of its own, as a Nobody. Sora, as a Keyblade Master, had a particularly strong heart and therefore his Nobody retained human form with just some slight changes in his features. When Sora came back from being a Nobody, through a feat of love and shared light that I doubt even Nomura fully understands, he gained back some of what he lost to Roxas, which is why Roxas does not remember being Sora. And because Roxas could not just cease to exist without joining with Sora, Sora still remained incomplete. Roxas still had part of what he gained from Sora. Namine was the only one born differently. When Destiny Islands was taken by the heartless, Kairi was unable to escape through the Corridors of Darkness as Sora and Riku did. Her heart was captured by the heartless; though because her heart was pure and without darkness it found a new vessel: Sora. In Hollow Bastion, when Sora stabbed himself and created Roxas, Kairi's heart was also released. Because a strong heart was released and heartless was created, a Nobody had to be created to, born from that released Heart. But, because there was no definate body to be created from, Namine was a Nobody without definate form or power. She was connected to Sora because the heart she was created from had resided in Sora, but she was not his Nobody. She was connected to Kairi, because the heart she was created from was hers. But she had no definate other. So, her form became a rather scrawny, near-albino girl with a fling for Sora's Nobody.
Really, this should be in the Spam Zone. And if you play KH a lot, then its no wonder that you have a dream referring to it. I highly doubt that you have an evil alternate half. If you start blacking out and people start blaming you things you don't remember doing, that's when you should start worrying about evil Schyzophrenic Alteregos. Not when you have a dream about Sora in an Organization cloak.
Impossible. Nobodies cannot be born with hearts if they are only born because their original entity lost their heart. However, because Roxas had a heart that still had its consciousness as Sora, and was a living heart rather than one sleeping in darkness like the rest, he and those he felt a connection to had a closer tie into what feelings a real heart had. And, while Roxas alwas had this feeling, being born this way from the start, he does not feel as "nourished" (for want of a better word) by the feelings of his heart as other Nobodies would have. Meanwhile, Axel and Namine, who have no definate conscious hearts of their own, have a strong connection to Roxas and can feel Sora's heart, however faintly. And they "feed" off of these feelings and make up their own emotions from this. That's my theory, anywhoser.
Well, if your theory is correct, and Ven looks the way he does because he is manifestation of Sora's memories of Ven, then that would mean that Roxas has no connection to Ven at all, really. Just another connection to Sora. It would not make him dual weild or have extra powers or forget his memories as Sora because of this. It is logical, though, that Sora's memories manifested themselves around his body when becoming a Nobody. Roxas lost his memories as Sora because of Sora's short time as a heartless. When Sora was brought back from the darkness by Kairi, he gained back some of what he had lost to Roxas, and therefore, Roxas lost some of what he had originally gained from Sora.
Very nice! I had a thread earlier in which I talked about a bunch of the strange things in Twilight Town. Never thought about it actually coming up in the new game. Nice! About the symbol, though, I do think it is the heartless symbol, just colored in. Terra and Ven's symbols are not curved, but more squared off at the top. The keychain on Riku's keyblade is the closest to it, being the same shape, but being all black in the middle, no thorns.
I just thought of something. You know in the first secret ending, when they first show Terra? He's standing on top of some giant monster-machine thing that aptly dissapates as he steps down, the same way that Heartless and Nobodies do when you defeat them. Well, what if this is one of the New Enemies, and is a boss battle you have to fight as Terra?
Although Roxas and Sora merged at the beginning of the game, they were still separate entities, with separate thoughts. This is why Sora continues to show Roxas-like qualities (crying when leaving Twilight Town, or changing when holding the crystal up to the light). When Axel sacrifices himself in order to save Sora and through him Roxas, Roxas becomes affected, and is able to come back out and show himself (though only to Sora). At the end, after they "beat" Xemnas the first time, is when Roxas truly becomes one with Sora.
Epic......Just. Epic. Great job guys. Even on the video to show us, you did a great job. Can't wait to try it out!!!!
Yeah, I believe they are known as Aerial Blades. Although, I'm not sure if that is the name of the type of weapon or the weapon itself.
The picture of Terra in the top corner kinda reminds me of the west wing in Beast's Castle. I wonder if the castles are all going to be set up that way?
Marluxia - I don't suppose I really have to say it. Everyone else already has. Larxene - Sting Zexion - ? (I got nothing.) Lexaeus - Titan Vexen - Scholar Each existing Lesser Nobody seems to have similar attributes in fighting to their leader: Xemnas uses magic as shields and to shoot out as an attack, as do the Sorcerors with their cubes Xigbar uses guns to shoot pink lasery looking things, as do the Snipers Xaldin uses lances and dives and stabs from above, as do the Dragoons Saix pounds down on you with his hammer in continuous movements, as do the Berserkers Axel's flurry attack is similar to the Assassin's swings, and is an Assassin himself Demyx uses music to control his water clones and attacks, while his Dancers dance to music for their attacks Luxord changes Sora into dice and cards, as do the Gamblers Roxas dual wields and has similar slashing attacks to the Samurais. Also, the reaction commands are similar Sorceror - no reaction command Sniper - Warp Snipe Dragoon - Learn Berserker - Berserk Gambler - Play Game Samurai - Dual Stance (slow motion, menu changing attack command)
Kingdom Hearts 1 is obviously the introduction to the story and follows the life of Sora from Destiny Islands as he scours the worlds looking for his friends and sealing the keyholes with the newly acquired keyblade. Chain of Memories occurs immediately after KH1. At the end of the game, they show Sora, Donald, and Goofy on a world of seemingly endless plains with nothing put a dirt path leading to Oblivion. Literally. During the intro to CoM, Sora is led to Castle Oblivion, Org. XIII's secondary headquarters. There, Namine is used by the Organization to erase Sora's memories of his friends and replace them with images of herself to get him to work for them. They continue leading him through his memeories, continually altering them, until he only feels the need to find Namine. But, with Axel's help, she escapes and tells Sora the truth. Sora then defeats the Nobodies of the castle, including their leader, Marluxia. Meanwhile, in the basements of Castle Oblivion, Riku arrives from the Realm of Darkness and fights his way through his dark memories of Xehanort and a different batch of Nobodies. With help from the King and a mysterious DiZ, he is able to make it to the ground floor. Namine puts Sora into a sleep pod to rearrange his memories back to how they were, and he is given to DiZ to watch over. He remains in this state for a year, until Namine finishes his memories ad he awakens at the beginning of KHII. Axel was the only Nobody to escape Castle Oblivion, and even played a hand in their downfall, possibly under orders from either Saix or Xemnas.
Yeah, what part of the game are you stuck at? It may just be your strategy, timing, etc., not your level.
Secret Ending graphics and lighting wins over PSP gameplay graphics and lighting. They seem to be the same color, just not as easily seen. As for Aqua, I do believe you are right. Another thought I've had, though, is that it could be Sora's (or Riku's) mother. Since they are 4 years old here and fighting each other near the ocean, it seems likely that at least one of their mothers would be watching over them to make sure they didn't hurt themselves.
I can tell that someone has a lot of time on their hands. :D While there is a possibility that the three colors match up to Sora's drives or to the colors that represent these elements of mind and soul, I think that the whole animal thing is looking a little too far into it. Sure, some of the symbols, such as the eye of Horus and the Lotus pods, are likely, but that much is a little too farfetched.
*muffled* Hi EP! I haven't really talked much on the Random Family lately. All the original members haven't really been on that much. I'm lucky if I can catch Goimez. So, since I've been gone so much.... COOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS: I gots a magic number!
Hellos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. You actually bumped my old thread back from July? I appreciate you bringing my poll back to life, but try not to do so from now on.
KHII all the way! I mean, I have nothing at all against the KH1 storyline, but the Organization was such an interesting group of characters and made the plot intriguing. The first KH you just had typical villians shrouded in Darkness and doing everything for evil. In KHII, we had people who not just fought the protagonist, but manipulated, used, confused, and then fought the hero. We had to save the worlds not just from Heartless bosses and Disney villians, but then from personal storylines and Nobody interference. Sora actually began acting a little more human about the situation, not just "I HAVE TO FIND RIKU AND KAIRI!!!!!!" But he really showed concern for what's happening on each world, helped them explain the situation, and actually interacted. They also incorporated minor characters a lot better. From Squall to Seifer to Hayner all had their own interesting backstory.
