I really wish I knew everyone better! That said, can't say I really have a crush....unless I base it on the pictures posted alone.
I'm pretty sure I posted my pic on pg 33 - the online dating system I was using just wasn't working out for me (JOKING - Single can be fun :))

    I love you all! :p

Ya I stuck with my friends...even though by the time graduation came around, a lot of them drifted into a more affordable public school :p
It's crazy trying to start all over again at university.

I understand that you are calling out to fellow KH1 riku haters on the forum, but a thread called "idoit riku" is going to also get some of his passionate defenders into the discussion to try and convince you otherwise.

As much as you'd like to think you're arguing with me, you are confirming what I stated in my original post.
I never said that lying was the right thing to do, but its something most of us have been trained to respond with in a passing-by situation.
The point of this thread is to challenge conventions that don't make sense. I mean, if you are on your way somewhere and say "hey! hows it going?" without any intention of stopping and chatting with the person, perhaps its time we came up with some other quick polite greeting that would promote an honest reply, but these are things we don't think about.

    depression

    No worries :)
Your initial response made me realize that what is meant isn't always what comes across as being said - I think the way we phrase things is something we all need to watch out for when dealing with sensitive issues.

Heres this for coincidence - I'm off to study for my psychology exam :p

hahannuh, your rhymes are well developed - they don't seem forced at all which is a great quality to carry with you as you write! (no worries about the "goof" stanza ;)

Here's a free verse of mine:

    Hourglass

The ocean is a blue cliché,
The pink sunset a rough-edged neon light through the smog.
Sand and seaweed scuff my toes in the tender spots,
Pillow the tough heels of my wave-buried feet and
    Slowly cover my ankles.
    There is sand everywhere,
    On my face and hands,
Carried by the waves onto my clothes,
Even in the air as it is flung back,
Back into the sea that will toss and churn it
    And round the sharper grains
So that some child's small pink feet
    Will one day feel them,
    Tender under the soft-skinned toes
Of one not even thought of yet
On our sand grain of a world.

Here's another free verse - my gr. 12 english teacher last year liked it in particular.

    Missing You

    Thoughts adrift
    as I drove today
    on an open field
    fresh breeze filled my lungs
    as the beauty of nature
    surrounded me
    cows grazing so peacefully
    and I thought of you
and how you loved your burgers

    depression

Perhaps I should have worded my words a little more carefully, because after reading your response twilightstown, that was not what I was trying to imply at all - whether I was taking a sensitive approach or not.
Don't get me wrong, I have friends of my own with real depression issues that concern me a lot...the whole bathtub with a bottle of pills idea. What I was trying to get across was my annoyance with those people who toss the term around loosely and define themselves as being depressed when they're not. That's what I meant when I said "everyone seems depressed".

Just like A.D.D., Depression seems over-used and overrated to me. It appears everyone is depressed with some form of attention deficeit disorder
