Wrote it for thet Poetry slam in my Poetry & Drama class.
    Read, hopefully enjoy, and critics?

    Its morning
    it’s my favorite day
I look at the clock, Seven A.M
    I’ll freshen up
    Go downstairs
    Gotta have my bowl
    Where’s the cereal?

    Screw it, gotta go
    My friends pick me up
I’ll be sittin’ in the back seat
While they kick it in the front seat

It’s my favorite day of the week.
    It’s Friday, Friday
    I get to the school
    First class is physics
I throw my hand up in the air
I said, hey, yo, who’s Galileo?

    School is done, going home
    I saw her there…

    I didn’t know
    who she was
But I felt like a Backstreet boy
    walked over to her
    and said

I don’t care who you are
    Where you’re from
    What you did
As long as you love me
    She stared at me,
    as I went on

    Am I original?
    Yeah
    Am I the only one?
    Yeah
    Am I sexual?
    Yeah
    Am I everything you need?
You’d better rock your body now

    She slapped me
    In the face
I took a look at the clock
    as I passed the time

    Seven forty five
    I’m having fun
    fun, fun, fun, fun, fun
    today it is Friday
    yesterday was Thursday
    Tomorrow it is Saturday

    Today it is Saturday
woke up feeling like P. Diddy
brushed my teeth with a bottle of jack
    Heading out again
    probably not coming back

Not sure if I should post it here or in gaming, but:
    I didn't find any threads about this, (except for the gamertag list thing) and I thought;
People play more than just KH and other single player games. What I'm wondering if KHV or just some people on the site could arrange "Playdates" basically, where people get together and play Multiplayer games.

I'm not talking about 2 player games, what I'm talking about is 8-32 online player games, such as Halo, CoD etc.

Do any of the staff think this would be possible to pull off?

I started thinking about this, sort of out of nowhere I started to think about it.
Has there ever been any big lovesongs where the singer sings to a person of the same gender?
And NO I kissed a girl doesn't count.

I'm talking about lovesongs that specify the gender, as if a man should sing "I love him" or a girl would sing "I love her."

I can't think of any songs, and there are many famous gay artists out there. Is it solely because there are so many people in the society that wouldn't like the song? Would they distance themselves from the song, because the song would (technically) be gay?
Seeing how much crappy music is made these days, where people don't care about the lyrics anymore, do you still think people would react to the lyrics if the lyrics were "gay"?
I mean, many gay people sing lovesongs about the other gender (where they specify the other sex), do you think a song would crash and burn if it was a lovesong to a person of the same sex?

I'm straight myself, and I honestly think I'd feel awkward if I listened to a song where a guy sang to another guy, probably because I care a lot about the lyrics, and I don't have a problem with homosexuality, but still, I think I'd feel awkward.
I'm guessing most guys wouldn't have a problem listening to a woman singing to another woman like that, but then I'll ask, how about a guy singing to a guy?

A couple of questions there. Now, discuss!

Every time I see a marching band, I get sad. I think, "one wrong choice, and that could have been me out there." When I was in eighth grade, I played the alto saxophone. My grandparents bought me that saxophone, and they loved to hear me play. You know who else loves to hear an eighth grader play a saxophone? No one.

Mostly 'cause it's a horn, and they have one volume setting, obnoxiously loud.
That's the problem with horns. Like, a guitar, you can quietly strum, not bother people.
But you can't be like, "hey, guys, keep watching your movie. I'll be, like, ten feet over here quietly practicing my sax. Doesnn't work. Now I play guitar, 'cause I like playing music, but I also like having friends.

Me and my friends like to go camping, sit around a campfire, get drunk, and sing songs that we like, and that's a great time. Somebody wanders over from another campground with their guitar, they are in the circle.

Somebody waltzes over with passion, classical training, and a spit valve, keep on hiking, kenny g.
Maybe there's a renaissance fair down the trail. Keep playing that horrible melody.
I hope some wolves hear it and hate it as much as I do.
I want to hear one last high "g" cut short and know that justice was served in the forest.

That being said, I have two small children, and when they're in high school, I'm gonna force them to be in the marching band all four years, 'cause I love my kids, and while they're in high school, I don't want them to do drugs or have sex.

That joke's called "'tuba' is just another word for abstinence

I have no idea why there is no thread about this anime/manga! (Yes, I searched it)
This is one of my favorite manga/anime of all time, and I recently watched the new OVA, Drifters of the Dead. It was in Japanese, so all i did was watch it, seeing as I don't speak Japanese and no fansub's yet.

    Anyway, what I wanna know:
    Have you seen it?
    Do you like it?
What do you think about the OVA, Drifters of the Dead?
What's your favorite male character and why?
What's your favorite female character and why?

Personally, I was a bit disappointed in the OVA. The reason is in spoiler, because if you don't want to be spoiled, don't read it!!!
I was disappointed, because even though I knew it was going to be on the island and very ecchi, I didn't expect it to be only ecchi, without any progression of the story. The characters are "attractive". "Attractive" in the sense how they are drawn; yeah, they would be super hot if they were real, but alas. Anyway I didn't like that it was only 20 minutes long, as I expect OVA's to be 40.

I wanted to post this AMV I made yesterday, because I've created a new Youtube chann (my 5th or so) where I'm only doing VideoGame/Anime/Manga stuff. And I'm posting this, because I'm finally out of my "dry streak" of 4 months or so without making AMV's. I'm not one to use a lot of special effects, though I do use a lot of timed scene changes.

Feedback is very much so appreciated, if you'd like to subscribe or friend me, it would be nice too.

PS: Some of my older AMV's can be found here http://youtu.be/9tBk7SPBKkY (There are a couple on that channel)

Yeah, it's slower than a modem. (It's not like that all the time, but once in a while, someone downloads stuff -.-)

I start off with a cute remark
    Something only I would notice
    I describe your picturesque face
And being with you makes me feel
Then you join in and sing the same
    about me

    This should be a duet
    A song between lovers
    This should be a duet
    But it's missing a voice
    It's missing your voice

I continue to express my feelings for you
I go on and on about you
Then you join in and confess your feelings for me
    You sing of our memories
And the last line in our song
    we sing in harmony

    This should be a duet
    A song between lovers
    This should be a duet
    But it's missing a voice
    It's missing your voice

We sing our love won't falter
We sing our love will last
    And we sing in harmony
    "I Love You"

    This should be a duet
    A song between lovers
    This should be a duet
    But it's missing a voice

    This should be a duet
    A song between lovers
    This should be a duet
    But it's missing a voice
    It's missing your voice

I figured we might as well get one of these. From what I understand Docyx is on holiday and because of that Daxa and I wanted to get some action in the story. So far it has only been introducing the characters, some backstory and some of their powers.

I'd like to add that I'm going to the US the 13th this monts (in two days)
I'll try to check in once in a while, but I can't promise anything.

I wanna see if I can find any good ones.
My fav (at least right now) is Drunk Tank by RoosterTeeth. (I am obsessed with RT atm)
It's a gaming/random podcast, you should check it out. (They do cuss so if you're offended by it, don't check it out)

This is being said in the end of Red vs. Blue (I know there's a Red Vs. Blue thread, as I so clumsily found out, but this is irrelevant to it), so if you're currently watching it, I don't think it would spoil anything, but you would want to wait for the end to hear it, because in my opinion, it's amazing.

A great love is a lot like a good memory. When it's there, and you know it's there, but it's just out of your reach, it can be all that you think about. Then you can focus on it and try to force it, but the more you do, the more you seem to push it away. But if you're patient and you hold still, well maybe, just maybe, it'll come to you.

Wanted to share it, because this is in my ears, poetic, and I've had experiences with it.

In addition to have fun with Photoshop, I also have fun in Sony Vegas :) I love making AMV's, unfortunately it's been a while since I made something.

However, I wanna share an AMV I made in 08' just because it captures the essence of why I find FFX to be awesome. It was actually the first FF game I ever played.

It's an old AMV, but I'm still up for constructive critique I can use in my newer movies

    Red vs Blue

Hey guys, have you heard about Red Vs. Blue?

It's a series based on Halo 3 (Season 9 will be Reach) and it's hilarious. I thoroughly recommend you all check it out www.redvsblue.com

If you have seen the show, who's your fav. char and why?

PS: If any of you have played Halo: Reach, there is a firefight map with a secret switch where you can see "honorable mentions" and RedVsBlue are there, so they're pretty renowned.

So I'm scrapping my Sora sig for a little while, but I found this Tifa render I love and decided to have some fun with it. I'm still not 100% pleased with it, I feel it's lacking something.

Oh, and I made her eyes brighter.

What's the strangest/surreal experience you can remember?

I remember being stuck in Paris just before Christmas. It was very surreal, because we were there with Americans who had a plane to catch in Norway.

    I've had more, but I can't remember them x)

EDIT: Oh, this should probably be moved to the spam section. I had several tabs open so I posted in the wrong area

Often when I just sit in my room and think about stuff, I write it down. Here are two of them, they are somewhat stream of consciousness mixed with thoughts. Just wanted to share them.

    Memories

The past is not be present. Though be sure not to forget the past because what has been, has been. What happened, happened. Don't forget it, keep it in your heart and mind. If you long for the past; dream, hope and wish for it. Remember however, this is the present, the past is gone and it will never be restored. But whatever you do with your past, don't put it away and forget it. Store it, salvage it. For in the end, what but memories, does your life consist of?

    Music

Making songs is not just all sunshine and happiness. By making music you can let out hate, anger, joy and sadness, whatever feeling it might be. I must admit that there have been, and still are times when I sit and play guitar just going with the flow that both laugh and cry, so I encourage you to learn an instrument. Actually you don't even have to do so, but try writing a song that means something to you. Because to me, music is life. Nothing has ever made me question what music means to me, and I will never, never abandon something that can bring me such joy and sadness at the same time
