You shouldn't get discouraged of what you do just because people make fun of you for it.... You need to talk to more anime-accepting people then.

And I guess you can say that anime gets boring sometimes, but that only means you should go out and look for anime (ones that are not super ultra popular, yet good). Sure you don't need to be obbessed and watch it 12+ hours a day and stuff...that's just kinda crazy.

Of course, this is your opinion, so go ahead and enjoy your life. =D

It's really hard to get lip syncing in WMM, but what I suggest at times when it's not talking for a while, take a screenshot of the character with the character's mouth shut, then show that picture when you don't want it to talk.
like in my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34_l4DQ4zqw if you look at :12 - :13 you can see that it was a screenshot during that time of no talking.

Timing is important and getting lucky with the clips is part of lip syncing too.
