I have a hard time seeing how these two look similar. Riku is much broader, with different hair color, style, and length, and a different fighting style. Since Riku weilded a sword then a keyblade, Axel should have used something along the lines of a keyblade or Soul Eater. And Axel's element is fire, which has nothing really to do with Riku. Plus the fact that Riku never lost his heart to darkness, only succumbed to its power and only lost his body to Ansem's purposes.
Yeah, like 45% of the world will ever become emo. They'll all have killed themselves before that happens.

Well, we already know a few things that happen after the events of the game. Ansem the Wise sends Kairi away from his world to Destiny Islands, where she meets Riku and Sora. Ansem the Wise's 6 Apprentices turn on him, open the Door to Darkness, and give up their bodies to let their hearts free to wander in Darkness, leading to the downfall of Radiant Garden and the creation of Traverse Town. The Nobodies of the 6 Apprentices form Organization XIII and begin collecting hearts. Under command of Xehanort's Heartless and Maleficent's band of villians, the Heartless begin taking over the worlds one by one, searching for Kingdom Hearts. And all that leads up to Kingdom Hearts. So unless they can somehow find a way to fit a whole new plot line in between all that, it can only lead up to KH or KHIII.

Even though these have been answered already, I'd like to add some stuff. 5. Yes, it does. When DiZ and Riku/Ansem put Roxas into the simulated Twilight Town, they hid his digitized memory beneath false ones of being a normal teenager amongst the others in Twilight Town, going to school, to the beach, etc. But as Sora's memories returned and he talked more with Axel & Namine, his true memories began to resurface. 6. No one knows who this is, yet. It is speculated to be Aqua, but it could just be a resident of Destiny Islands talking with Ven. 7. Many speculate that, due to the missing keychains on Terra, Aqua, and Ven's keyblades, they are either prototype or artificially made keyblades, and therefore do not have the same power as real keyblades. Although the keyblade shattering does not likely have much to do with it. Freezing metal and dropping off a cliff will likely shatter it, whether or not its magical or not. No one ever said the keyblade was indestructable. 8. No one yet knows exactly where Kairi's keyblade came from, or whether or not its a real keyblade. So far, all that's known about it is that Riku summoned it alongside his own keyblade and gave it to Kairi, and it was never seen again.
