I can't really judge a person before I know them. However if you lie for respect you don't get any from me. I don't understand the need to have people like a person who isn't even you. Acting like yourself and having people acknowledge, or even love, you is much more satisfying, imo.

I don't see what is wrong with hiring a person to clean your home for you. If they need the money it is good that the person has work, as long as one doesn't treat them as inferior just because they clean for a living.

I've been meaning to read A House for Mr. Biswas but I can't find the time.

What? it stuns me that you're twelve. I have The Great Gatsby on my bookshelf downstairs. The 1974 film is okay.

I don't believe in superstitions. I mean, part of the actual definition of the word is not based on reason or knowledge. Most have been around for a long time. Certain cases are just a coincidence. I'm pretty paranoid, but you'll never find me knocking on wood.

Yeah I've noticed. It is a bit upsetting when I hear my six year old brother say, "Are you steppin to me? Come closer, and I will cut you fool! Yeah that's right I'm a pimp." No lie.

Don't ask where he learned that. My best guess is the druggie by the swings.

The question wasn't whether it's possible to make everyone happy. If everyone were like me it could happen. Honeybuns and swings make me happy. I assumed that peace meant there would be a compromise, which usually leaves most unsatisfied.

The Night of the Living Dead (1968) Watch it.
Peeping Tom makes me laugh while I cringe.
The Sixth Sense is pretty cool too.

The Saw movies are a joke. They aren't scary, just weird. IMO

Thank you for bringing this up, because I should have expanded the idea a bit more. No, our actions aren't just actions. They are tied to motives, beliefs, and desires that make it possible for life to be a continuous spectrum of colors. I doubt there is even happy middle, that middle being gray. I'm probably morally violet.
