Everyone knows that humans aren't perfect. We don't always get along, which is evident in genocide and wars that mankind has witnessed. What I would like to know is what you think it would take for there to be actual harmony in the world. Do you think it's possible for the nations of Earth to come to an accord?

If yes, explain why and how long this could take.

If no, explain why something like peace is inevitably out of reach for us humans.

I don't want to seem like a pessimist, but I'm beginning to think it's impossible. A few years back, before 9-11, I thought that growing older would be good, because by then people would have fixed all of their problems. I know better now. I still have hope for us and see the beauty in life, but I no longer turn a blind eye to what is really going on. Please be open and honest.

I believe we're not alone. Especially since no one has proved otherwise. The diameter of the observable universe, keyword observable, is 93 billion light years. I believe that other forms of life definitely exist out there. Some may even be a bit similar to us, but that is unlikely unless there are places out there that display conditions which resemble those on Earth. I think we're better off as we are though, being oblivious I mean. We can't even coincide with the people living on this very planet. I doubt mankind could deal with running into some extra terrestrials.

Pokemon The First Movie without a doubt. My parents took me to see it when I was five. They got worse from that one on. Don't even get me started on Pokémon: Jirachi Wish Maker.

I would change her voice and make her an EPIC fighter. That's only if I could change her; I'm not saying I don't think she's okay now.

    Dexter

I've watched season one and a little two. Dexter is <3. However, I probably won't see anymore because I tend to stop watching shows and start others.

In school I play sports, but I'm just going to mention the exercise I do on my own time. I'm a jogging addict. I lose track of time and I don't know how to stop, so I have an alarm go off on my watch. I also jump rope like its my job. Also, when my shift ends at the YMCA, I swim laps =)

When she comes asking for advice, just don't give her any since she'll just ignore you. However, I would keep listening to her. If she's your friend, then all you can do right now is be there for her. Yes, she may be dropping heavy loads on you, but isn't that what you're there for? The fact that she's opening up to you means doesn't want to keep it bottled up which is good. All I'm saying is one day, you will want to vent a lot too. If you push her away while she needs you, do you think she'll be around when that day comes? UNLESS you're not that close. If she isn't your best friend, then you're not that obligated. It doesn't seem like she'll be in your life for long if she's willing to turn on you for a guy.

    Really?
My friend's mother got beaten by her husband for defending their daughter after he had called her very degrading and vulgar names. If my friend had not called the police, his father would have surely killed his mother. Please do not stick with that generalization.

The Xbox 360 is awesome, but I'm going to say PS3. I love the graphics, and I think the games are better. There's nothing wrong with the Xbox, so I wouldn't say don't get it. Live is so much fun ;D The PS3 is a bit pricey, but it's worth it in my opinion. However, mine did fry last week...

IMO, Mozilla is the best. Internet Explorer crashes like that's its job. Mozilla offers amazing addons, and I find it way more reliable.

Safari users: It's okay if you have a Mac, but downloading it is pointless. (Takes up too much disk space)

I want a baby boy so bad ;D I like the name Aaron. A girl would be...eh. Don't get me wrong I'd still love her to pieces. So yeah, two boys and a girlie would be nice.

I hope that young girl will be alright.

What angers me the most is that the culprits were only ten and seven. Are their hearts really so cruel or did they just find it humorous? I thought children were supposed to be innocent. Now I just find them scary. Or were they encouraged by their parents? Either way, twisted thoughts motivated this shameful attack.

I completely agree. He shouldn't have bothered applying for the job if he knew that a child could push his buttons until he snapped. If someone asked you, "Would you harm a kid?" and you answered, "Maybe, it depends on if..." That should be a red flag right there.
