Wow that was an awesome book. Has anyone read it? Everyone should be required by law to read it, thats how awesome it is!!
Crouching in the shadows of the sunlight in the temple, Dmitri crouched. He was on a ledge just under the sunlight so if one looked straight up they wouldn't be able to see him for the sun. The only thing that you might be able to to see was a bit of his cloak that was hanging off of the ledge. They have powers too.....interesting
*runs to window* It's just starting to get dark and the sky is pretty clear btw it is about 7:40 where I am

OOC: I am torn between two choices for Base's favorite team but I'm almost sure which one it is BIC: Gwyn inhaled her breakfast and downed a glass of orange juice. Her mother eyed her skeptically, wondering when she would have to do the Heimlich maneuver on her daughter. Luckily that was not necessary because even though she wasn't eating at the normal human speed she was being extra careful and thus got through the meal unharmed. Afterwards she practically threw her dishes into the sink and walked upstairs quickly. The only reason that she didn't run was because she didn't want to trip or anything along those lines. The stairs ended and she made the right turn that would lead her to her bedroom. Entering said room, she proceeded to put on her shoes and grabbed her trunk. Taking a firm grasp on it she half walked half tripped down the stairs, being dragged by her rather heavy suitcase. Gwyn reached the bottom and left her suitcase beside the fireplace, running out to the pasture to say a quick goodbye to Sunchaser. She stood on the bottom railing of the fence with her arms over the top railing, head to head with her best friend and only friend. "Bye Sunny. I'll see you when school gets out." She swallowed the lump in her throat and returned to the kitchen where her mother stood with the pot of floo powder.Gwyn knew she would have to go alone. She always went alone. Grabbing her suitcase in one hand and putting the pouch of money her mother had given her in her pocket, she grabbed a handful of the powder and let it fall and the same time shouting. "Diagon Alley!!"
I knew there was goingto be a thread along these lines. I am Happy for you !!
"Get up NOW!!!," screamed a very shrill voice from somewhere downstairs. Blue eyes opened and stared up at the ceiling. Those icy eyes belonged to a particularly annoyed thirteen year old named Gwyn. As she lay in bed she wondered why her mother got pleasure in doing that. As she contemplated this another angry yell sounded from downstairs. The voice was becoming angrier and less coherent by the minute so reluctantly she threw back the covers and swung her legs over the side of her bed. "I'm coming, mum. Don't lose your voice over it," she shouted back clear and firm in her usually soft voice. Gwyn then proceeded to throw on a plain white tee shirt and some faded blue jeans. She opted to leave her shoes off, preferring to walk barefoot on the cool wood. Light was streaming through her window and she couldn't help going over to to look outside. Her eyes met the sight of the pasture that held her chocolate brown Welsh pony in the day time. She shook her head, to clear it and ran down the stairs, taking them two at a time, her black hair swept out of her face by the wind. She flew my her mother. mumbling a good morning as she threw open the door and continued her run. The wind was even stronger out here but that was Scotland and she loved every bit of it. Gwyn took a firm grip on the oak doors and flung them open. She inhaled the scent of hay and grain, smiling. The sound of the door made her pony lean its head out of its stall, nickering. "Good morning, Sunchaser. Ready for a good run?" Sunchaser bobbed his head up and down so vigorously that Gwyn laughed. She unbolted his stall door and led him out into the pasture. A small shadow from over her head made her look up. An owl was flying towards the house carrying a letter firmly in its beak. Gwyn's eyes flared and she took off, bare feet barely hitting the ground as she flew back to the house behind the owl. She burst through the door, at which point her mother handed her the letter, with a lion seal. She quickly tore it open and began to read it. Dear Ms. Harper, We are pleased to welcome you back to another year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We have enclosed a list of the supplies that will be required. We hope to see you back at school on September 1st. Gwyn grinned and ran back upstairs. She knew that they would be going to Diagon Alley to purchase her supplies and such. She wanted to be packed and ready whenever her mother chose to go. Quickly she threw together her clothes that she would wear to Hogwarts when she wasn't required to wear her robes and she packed all of her supplies from last year into her trunk. After doing all of that her stomach rumbled, signaling breakfast. The kitchen smelled of bacon and biscuits, which made her even hungrier. Grabbing a plate, she sat down to eat.

"Tristan and I figured out....how to kill Nekita. On the last day, if all else fails.....Tristan and I will hold him out in the sun. He will die.....and so will we," he said calmly. He sat down in the snow and put an arm around her. "Ice cave, 'Bout a mile from here. You need to make more blood before we go back and find them." Tristan closed his eyes but opened them again. He could smell Sam's blood, and he knew that so much of that blood could only mean one thing.
He gave her an awkward one armed hug. "Good. Well now, little sister, I think I hear the vampires coming. I can do one thing for Sam though." He pulled Jessica onto his back and picked up Sam's body. It was already stiffening. He quickly ran to the outskirts of town and found the ice wall that had been his brother's campsite before this whole mess began. He set Jessica down and Sam down as well. Walking up to the ice wall, he gave an almighty punch and part of it shattered, leaving a crevice. He gently put Sam's body in it and took the big slab that had fallen off and crushed it into the wall. "He will stay here forever and guard future visitors." He looked at Jessica sadly. "There is one thing I need to tell you."
"Jessica, you know more than anyone that he wouldn't want you to die. He died for you. You don't want to waste that do you?" He took her by the shoulders and looked her square in the eyes. "Then live. Live and make the most of it. Never give up Jessica. Promise you won't ever give up....for Sam."
When the coast was clear Zane cautiously approached Jessica. His movements were slow and his hands were up, like a criminal showing a cop that he didn't have a weapon. "Jessica," he said gently," We need to go. Ever vampire within miles will be attracted and most aren't as strong as Tristan and I are." He layed a hand on her shoulder.
Zane arrived on the scene...just in time to watch Sam die. Jessica's scream sent chills through him and he shuddered, already feeling the rush of bloodlust.
