Joshua became a bit angry. Suddenly, this guy came into the city out of nowhere, and treated Arriel as if she belonged to him. "No." he said plainly, holding up an arm. If Zin was to use the spell again, he could now penetrate it easily. "She's not a piece of property." he stated, staring him in the eyes. "She doesn't belong to you. In fact, she doesn't belong to anyone. She's an individual. So, I suggest you back off." A large sword appeared in Josh's hand. He wasn't in the mood for fighting, but he wouldn't let Zin treat Arriel like this.
Joshua turned to Zin and wiped some dust off his own shoulder before speaking. "Um...stalking, much?" he said, thinking it was a little strange for this man to follow them this entire time. "And...uh...congrats. Yeah, you found me. What, you want a prize?"
I read the book a while back, it was pretty good. I just hope the movie won't overdo the comedy and completely ruin the story.
This has to be one of my all time favorite movies ever. When I first heard about it, I became very intrigued by the storyline and the characters. Finally, the night I saw it, I thought it was brilliant. It was so great, in fact, that it even encouraged me to see the actual musical on stage. Both performances were amazing. I have always been a fan of Johnny Depp, but this really showed his talent. I have already bought the DVD and CD. Also, I introduced the movie to some of my friends and they liked it as well. Now, we are all pretty much Sweeney fanatics. Lol. The point is, great movie.
I agree. Relient K is a pretty good band. The first song I ever heard from them was 'Be My Escape'. From there, I just started listening to them more and more. :)
"Interesting..." Joshua said, snapping his fingers. A small bit of fire appeared above his fist. "I've had mine since I was born." he said, blowing out the fire. "By the way, I never got to really thank you for saving my butt back at the castle. So...thanks."
Joshua slowly clapped and smirked at Arriel. "Not bad..." he said as his clapping stopped. "How long have you had powers, princess?"
Joshua held his burning hand for a moment, then looked up. Arriel was standing in front of a group of strange looking men. Immediately, Josh knew they were trouble. Not just his kind of trouble, but worse. "Why, hello there." he said with a small wave, walking forward until he was a few feet to the right of Arriel. "What seems to be the problem?" Just then, he heard running footsteps coming closer to them. Zin. Great, Josh thought to himself, rolling his eyes. Back-up...
Joshua simply stared at the finger, then at Zin. Truth be told, the punch barely hurt. This guy's older than me, yet he can't throw a decent punch. he thought to himself with a smirk. "I think someone needs to calm down..." he said, the fingers of his right hand slightly wiggling. "And for the record, I didn't insult her. I would never insult her. She's a...friend. But, please don't ever pull a move like that again..." Quickly, he grabbed Zin's arm, twisted it behind his back then pushed him into the fountain. Zin was now soaking wet for everyone to see. Some children giggled, adults pointed, and guards simply stared angrily at Joshua. "By the way," Josh said to Zin, kneeling down next to the fountain. "My name's Joshua." Then, he ran up to Arriel. Some guards were staring at her, realizing that she was the princess and were not happy to see her roaming around. "C'mon!" he said, grabbing her hand. "Before we're both dead!" So, Josh ran.
"What?" Josh said puzzled. He didn't understand why Arriel would want to hide her identity. "Well, sorry if I did something wrong or anything," he said, rubbing the back of his head. "But, what's so bad about people knowing your a..." Then, he sarcastically leaned in closer to her and spoke in a whisper. "Princess...?"
Joshua laughed and took another bite of his apple, then swallowed. "I suppose." he said, calmly. "Should I consider myself lucky to be in the presence of such royalty?" Josh made a small fake bow, then turned to Zin. "New?" he said, grinning. "Hmm...fresh bait..I mean...hi! Anyway, she's the princess of that castle not too far from here."
Joshua continued to roam the city. Several guards watched him carefully, each knowing about what he had done to the other group of guards. One of them even slightly took out their gun at the sight of him. Other than that, everything was going well. He grabbed an apple from a basket and took a small bite out of it. Then, he threw it into the air. As it landed back in his hand, he noticed Arriel sitting at the fountain speaking with a man who appeared to be quite old. "Well, well, well," he said with a smirk, approaching the both of them, still holding the apple in one hand. "Ditching the castle and hanging out with older men. Quite feisty today, are we, princess?"
Xentus continued running, yet could not sense himself getting any closer. Immediately, he realized that Sora had to be in a different world, and Xentus had a good guess at what that world was. He opened up a portal, and was in a few seconds standing in a small cave. There were several drawings everywhere, most of them barely visible. In fact, there was only one drawing that could still clearly be seen. It was of Sora and Kairi, sharing a paupu fruit. "How adorable..." he mumbled, picking up a stone. Just as he was about to carve into the drawing and ruin it, he heard loud noises coming from outside. "Sora..." he whispered, running out of the cave. Finally, he saw Sora and Ansem facing each other on the shore. "Hello old soon-to-be-dead, friend!" he shouted, evily.
Joshua stared at the princess as she left and the guards dragged him away. She had just saved his neck, leaving only a small shock in his shoulder. Within a few minutes, the guards threw him out of the door and he lay on the soft green grass, still staring at the castle. "I'll admit," he said, getting up and dusting off his shoulders. "You've got class, princess." And with that, he turned and walked away.
"Wait a minute-" Joshua said, getting up, but immediately falling to the ground thanks to the chains tied around his ankles. "Ow." Under 'her supervision', he thought, curiously. What does she mean by that? Is she gonna baby-sit me or something? He immediately, sprang up, now standing in front of her. "So," he said, smirking. "Are you really trying to 'supervise' me, or are you just trying to find an excuse to be around me, princess?"
"Y'know," he said, taking out his knife and flipping it with his right hand. "Blew up some guns, hurt some guards, nothing out of the ordinary."
Nothin. Just RPin. I've gotten involved with way too many RPs. Can't even keep track of all of them anymore...
Josh looked at Ariel, not having seen her since the day he was freed. "Hey, I'm Joshua." he said, now looking at the King again who was quite a distance away. "And, you don't have to tell me your name. I was a slave of your family for five years. I know almost everyone's names. Anyway, Ariel, how's this all gonna go down?"
