Wow. Marluxia's voice is a lot less deep and mysterious than I expected. D: Ah well, Sora's voice was hilarious. Who knew puberty could happen so fast... XD
Jake sat down in a large chair, reading a book next to the burning fireplace. His butler came along and stood in front of him. "Mr. Masters," he said very politely. "My apologies, but it seems that we have run out of food supplies, even though it is time for your supper. No need to worry, I'll run to the market immediately." Jake chuckled and got up, putting on his black jacket. "Don't worry about it, Henry." he said, walking towards the door. "I'm gonna find a bite to eat. Want me to pick anything up for you?" A smile spread across the butler's face, relieved that Jake wasn't mad. "No thank you, Mr. Masters." "Alright," Jake said, walking out of the door. It was pouring outside, but he didn't put his hood on. The rain pleased him. His hair was dripping by the time he entered a cafe. Luckily, it was warm and cozy inside. "'Sup." he said to another boy in the cafe. Jake sat down on a stool next to the window, pulling out the newspaper and reading the headline.
Whoa... You're leaving? I really don't know what to say... It's been great getting to know you and RPing with you, but I guess this is it. Good luck. Y'know, in the real world. Lol. Bye. :) - Ventez
"There's no time to explain..." Josh said, backing up and not looking her in the eyes. "Xaren is still out there...probably killing more people. We have to find him before the entire city turns to ashes." Henry came out from behind the throne, not looking as proud or as strong as he usually did. "I owe a lot to you..." he muttered, stepping closer. "So, I'll start with this: Xaren said he was going to a tower or something. To kill Grey." Josh nodded and thought for a moment. Should he intrude on the fight? Or, should he just trust that Grey could defeat Xaren? After all, Grey was known for being quite skillful and strong. Decisions can really be a pain... he thought... OoC: Starkiller, should Josh, Henry, and Arriel come help? Or would you prefer them to either wait a while or just not come at all. I don't want to interrupt the fight in case you were hoping for Grey to do it on his own.
Josh stood still for a moment, then hugged her back. Now, his hand was no longer covering his mouth and his newly grown fangs were visible. Not only that, but Arriel could probably feel his cold skin. Joshua had been transformed into something entirely different, because of Arthur...
Joshua turned around to see Arriel standing there. There was one thing he had been meaning to say after all the times he ditched her. "I'm sorry." he said, using his hand to cover his mouth. "Something was going on with my friend, Arthur, and I didn't have time to talk to you."
Josh snatched the sword out of the air and stabbed it into the ground. "Didn't your mother ever tell you?" he said, pointing his sword at the guard. "Never play with fire." Quickly, Joshua shot another blast of fire. This time, it hit the guard in the chest. "We can play this little game all day if you want...or you can get out of here. Now."
"Ooh...bad move." said a voice from behind. Suddenly, a flurry of flames appeared behind the guard. Joshua now stood there, one hand carrying his sword and the other carrying a ball of fire. He shot the fire at the guard's face, sending him flying backwards. "Burns, doesn't it?" he said, stepping closer.
OoC: Ugh... >> Henry held on to the last bit of ice magic he had left within him. The only problem was what to use it for. He could either try to injur Xaren, or save himself. Being an obvious decision to him, he used ice to heal the wound. Then, his powers were simply gone. Gone. "I'm not foolish!" he yelled, being serious for the first time in his life. "I am not the foolish one, sir! You are foolish! Do you think that killing us and everyone else in this city will do you any good?! No. Eventually, you would end up killing everyone in the world. Then what?! What are you ruler of?! NOTHING!!!! Nothing, you coward!!!" Henry then screamed. Screamed in frustration, confusion, and sorrow...
Henry simply had to close his eyes and focus. Again, the guards were turned to ice. "Please, keep going!" he said, cheerfully. "This is pretty fun!"
Henry closed his eyes and focused for a few moments. The guards surrounding him became covered in ice and were completely stuck. "Hmm...and I thought I was naive..." he said to Xaren.
"Well, if you're quite done with your cute little speech..." Joshua said, getting up and dusting off his shoulders. "Let me just respond with this..." He raised a hand, then disappeared in a flurry of flames. Henry hissed and stared at the spot where Josh had just turned into flames and disappeared. "Coward!" he snapped.
Joshua spat out some blood and looked at Xaren with amused eyes. "A telephone call would've been nice..." he said, getting up to his feet. "But you would prefer to make a big show instead, wouldn't you?" OoC: I want to keep Henry alive. He entertains me. :D Henry clutched his bleeding throat and raised an arm. Immediately, a collar made entirely of ice covered the cut, stopping the bleeding and slowly healing the wound. "You a**hole!" he coughed, falling to the ground in agony.
Henry simply stared at his own reflection in the sword. "Hey there, handsome." he said with a grin, showing his white teeth. Joshua shook off a couple of guards. There was now only one of them keeping a tight grip on him. "What the hell has happened to this place..." he mumbled, prepared to set half of the building on fire at any given moment.
Henry gulped, his eyes wide. "Oh, I get it!" he said, laughing. "This is all a bad dream. Soon, I'll just wake up...right?" A guard grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pushed him towards Xaren. Now, Henry was on his knees in front of the man. "I guess not..." Joshua simply cooperated with the guards as they began taking him to the throne room. His eyes showed fire and determination. Finally, just as the guards and him stood in front of the throne room door, he made the chains tied around him burst into flames and fall to the ground as ashes. The guards, who had been holding onto the chains and Josh, winced with pain and leaned against the wall to recover. Quickly, he kicked the door open and ran inside, seeing several people he knew in chains like he previously was. "Some party you throw..." he said to Xaren. Suddenly, four other guards lunged at him. There were no chains available at the moment, so they simply held a firm grip on him. Of course... Josh thought to himself, rolling his eyes.
Joshua was walking down a sidewalk with his head down when suddenly someone had tied his arms together from behind. Glancing back, he saw that it was a guard. Another guard came along and used a long metal stick to strike Josh in the chest several times. With the other guard letting go, Joshua fell to the ground, clutching his chest in pain. One of them then kicked him in the face. "Stop!" Josh yelled, fire in his eyes. Jumping back on his feet, he slammed both guards into a wall, making a cage of fire surround them so that they would not escape. As he walked away, he noticed several other guards coming towards him. So, Josh began running. Just as he thought he had escaped, the guards trapped him in a dead end. Soon, there were chains around his wrists and ankles as he simply stood there inside of the castle. "Like being turned into a slave all over again..." he muttered. Henry was not aware of what had happened. One moment, he was falling asleep in his bed inside of the castle. The next, he was in chains being taken to Xaren.
OoC: Lol. All of this, and it's just the second day. XD Joshua got up and began walking back towards the city. Something else was going on here. Not just Arthur, but something darker. "I have a bad feeling about this..." he mumbled.
Joshua finally arrived in the heart of the forest. "Arthur!" he shouted, cupping his hands around his mouth. His voice echoed throughout the forest, but there was no response. "Arthur, c'mon!" Josh shouted, looking around. Arthur was kneeling down on the branch of a tree, carefully watching Josh's every move. His red eyes glowed for a moment before he hopped off of the tree. After a few moments, he landed gently on his feet a few yards away from Joshua. "It's about time!" Josh said with a small smile. "Now let's just get home, dude. Forget the race." "Shut up!" Arthur shouted, lifting a large log up with a finger and throwing it at Josh. Quickly, Joshua used his fire powers to burn the log to ashes. "What the hell was that?!" he yelled, his feet planted firmly in the ground. "It's about time you knew..." Arthur whispered darkly, stepping closer. "Things have changed since you last knew me...many things..." He made a hissing noise, then made an evil grin to show two sharp fangs as a part of his teeth. "Sorry, buddy." he said, licking his sharp teeth. "The Arthur you knew is long gone. In his place, is an Arthur ten times stronger and more powerful!" Quickly, he grabbed a tree with one arm, yanking it right out of its roots. The tree had to be 20 times his weight. "W-What are you talking about?" Josh said, his mouth dry. Arthur screamed in anger and dropped the tree to the ground, making a fierce vibration in the floor. "Don't you get it?!" he yelled. "I'm immortal! A bloodsucker! A monster!" In the blink of an eye, Arthur had jumped high into the air and landed so that he was standing on Josh's chest. "N-No..." Josh muttered, his chest in much pain from the weight on it. "You're joking...this isn't funny..." Arthur's face grew with rage, and he snatched Josh's arm so that it was now right in front of his mouth. "I guess there's only one way to prove to you that this is real." he said, his fangs drawing closer to Josh's wrist. "No...NO!" Everything turned black. When Josh opened his eyes again, Arthur was gone and he was simply laying there on the forest floor. "A-Arthur..." he whispered, looking at his wrist. A bight mark was now on it. OoC: Well, with all the other epic things going on in the story, I couldn't resist... ;>>
Henry had exclaimed "Josh?!" at the exact same moment as Arriel. "It's time I fix that boy once and for all..." he mumbled reaching for his knife. However, he stopped. "No." Henry mumbled darkly. "Now is not the right time. Tonight. Tonight I will teach that boy a lesson..." A smirk spread across his face and he silently walked away. Josh spun around for a moment as he heard Arriel's voice. "Erm...sorry Arriel." he said, glancing the other way, hoping to at least catch a glimpse of Arthur. "I'll talk to you later. There's something I have to take care of for now..." And with that, he once again ran off, away from Arriel... She's gonna hate me for this... he thought, running towards the forest.
