Goddamn, this is the most nostalgia I've ever been through in one night.
For we may have another crisis on our hands. http://www.kh-vids.net/member.php?u=38834
And I need your guys' help deciding on a vital part of it. We have to choose a song, and relate it to a political topic. Basically politics in general, actually. I know I'm probably not giving a heck of a lot of info of what I have to do with the song, but I'm not even sure what I have to do yet. XD Anyhoo, I've narrowed my choice down to two songs, and I would like some help deciding which one to choose. A) Sunday Bloody Sunday by U2 [Song] [Lyrics] B) Handlebars by Flobots [Song] [Lyrics] Please post your reason for what you chose. =)
As some of you may know, IMDB released 2 or 3 production stills of the movie "The Last Airbender", which is still currently being filmed. Well, I've found a total of 6. TAKE THAT, IMDB! >8D Noah Ringer as Aang Dev Patel as Zuko Zuko at the South Pole Fire Nation soldiers Southern Water Tribe huts Water Tribe seas (with the Fire Nation shipwreck in the background) Anyhoo, from the looks of these pictures, what are your impressions of how the movie's gonna turn out?
Hi, me. .
I gotta say, I'm a sucker for movies with sad endings. I love 'em, and I don't know why. =] So, what movies made you cry (or still make you cry) the most? You may want to link your movies to their IMDB pages, I guess. Schindler's List Marley & Me (I have a yellow lab, so I was pretty much sobbing) Grave of the Fireflies Moulin Rouge! Titanic P.S. I Love You (Irish ancestry ftw) The Wind That Shakes the Barley (see above bracket) The Lion King (Not a sad ending, but you know why) Sweeney Todd 10 Things I Hate About You (I don't even know... partially the poem at the end.... and partially Heath)
I feel quite accomplished.
Plot: When a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers (Black and Cera) are banished from their primitive village, they set off on an epic journey through the ancient world. ♥ historically incorrect movies. No seriously, I wanna see it. =]
'Kay, so our high school has a running/jogging track and a gi-frickin-normous sports field. The elementary school from across the street uses it for their "Track & Field" day once a year. They had a big speaker outside that was playing music, and it must have been hooked up to a teacher's iPod or something that was on shuffle. So my friends and I were sitting outside eating lunch as we usually do on a nice day like it was. All of a sudden, a cheesy song being played on the speaker ended, and before we knew it...... this song was blaring through the speakers. You probably know it. Gotta love elementary school wholesomeness.
Seriously. I was sitting on the outdoor rocking bench-lounge-thingo that we got my mom for Mother's Day. I was doing my homework for about an hour (*inb4OMGPEOPLEACTUALLYDOHMWK???*). Now, sitting on a stable non-moving chair, it feels like my whole house is moving back and forth. @_@ Any advice on how to make this stop?
^ Possibly the best idea since D in a B, no?
For you: Good luck and g'night. :3
OH EM GEE. Please take note that there obviously will be spoilers. Ok, who else cried? I wasn't expecting to, but I did. XD Spoiler Bill Lawrence said that we'd know the Janitor's name in the last episode, right? So maybe there's still hope for another season..... Anyhoo, DISCUSS.
http://www.30hourfamine.org/ "It Starts With You The first 30 Hour Famine ever took place in Calgary, Alberta, 38 years ago. It started with a small group of teenagers that refused to sit back and do nothing about the famine in Ethiopia. Because of their efforts, over 1.5 million youth now take part in the Famine events in countries around the world, including Australia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, the UK and the United States." One of the 30 Hour Famines starts tomorrow. I'm participating in it, as I did last year. It's a great way to raise funds and awareness for poverty all over the world.
As I opened the iTunes store a few minutes ago, I noticed that I have 10 more dollars on my account than I had a few hours ago. It's a happy day for me! >8D
Potential Pandemic playoff. LOfrickinL
Wait, what? No thread yet? Seriously? Seriously??? Seri- *shot* Beautiful movie. =) It made me cry. Spoiler Except for one part that would have normally made me cry, the part where the Mexican guy hung (Jack?) himself. I think I was on the verge of tears for Harvey's sake, but Jack just creeped me out a bit. o.o
Strawberry soy milk, banana, vanilla yogurt, and orange juice smoothie. Hell yeah
