Oooh, the rules of thumb =3 *makes a list and puts next to her screen*
Sora, Riku, and Namine, in no specific order what so ever. Sora I love the dorky adorable kid who ends up being the hero because he's a selfish brat that just wants to find his friends. There's a tragic charm to the whole mess and I just love how they developed him in KH1. CoM/Re:CoM was him having his mind broken, and KH2 did have some amazing moments to show just how badly broken he is after it all, like his mental breakdown in Hollow Bastion or him going mellow and withdrawn over Riku, like when they met Santa. He's caring, goofy in an adorable way, and he means well. I can't resent him for anything that happened in KH2, not because I feel sorry for him, mind, but more because I can relate. He's been through a lot and deserves a break, something no one was willing to give him. Riku Best character in the game, hands down. From being a jealous and self-rightous brat that ended up ruining everything just because he cared and was too busy acting tough to admit Sora kept hurting him (jealousy issues over Donald and Goofy, and probably Kairi much), through being a martyr in Re:CoM and needing nothing less than King Disney himself to pull him together, to being awesome looking in Days, to being the plot of KH2. We got to see him all around inside and out, and I just think as stupid as he was in the get go, that he's a wonderfully constructed character my heart goes out to. Namine I'd like to think this one goes without saying, but I'll say so anyway ='3 When it comes down to it, her basic nature is that of a sweet, caring, compassionate girl. All she ever wanted was to have someone call out her name and recognize her, to be in someone's Heart, as opposed to the rest of the Nobodies, who want to have their existence be internal. They'd have Hearts, thus they exist. Namine wants to be inside someone else's Heart and have them be her "Proof of Existence". I can relate to that a whole lot more than to the Org's goal. She's by far the most tragic character in the series, competing only with Riku, imo (We didn't get to see enough of Roxas, and he did leave the Org so he could meet Sora. And he was part of the Org so he could become whole, so he got exactly what he wanted). She finally was about to have her wish granted through Sora, and yet because he cared for her, she had to push him away and lose everything. She then went on to properly erase herself from his Heart (though she did a sucky job of that, going by a certain scene in the Final Mix+. There's hope yet, I tell you), and to top it all she did everything she could to help both Sora and Riku by saving Kairi, even at the cost of she herself disappearing. It killed me that after playing through KH2, when she and Sora finally met, Roxas popped out. Ugh, rage! :yelling:
Him not even knowing about the kid until the end of the game aside, I don't think it's that easy to just let your Nobody who finally fused back into you run loose. EDIT: If there's anyone selfish in the mix, it's Roxas, who did whatever he wanted without considering anyone else (Axel's "I will [miss you]", him going out after Sora and then the fight against Axel. Like, what did Sora do wrong again when it was Axel that threw himself off to die?)
:D! Riku = best developed character in the whole series. It started out in KH1, he had his redemption issue in CoM/Re:CoM, Days will show him going through guilt, and then KH2 kicked in (albeit in a lacking manner) for his forgiveness act by Sora. It's kind of ironic that for a game that's supposed to be Sora's story, it shows a lot more insight about his best friend's character. Way I see it, CoM/Re:CoM being so kick ass is why Namine is one of my favorite characters ever (ranking up there with Sora and Riku for top spot =3) and SoNami - my favorite couple (Sora/Riku/Nami isn't unthinkable though =3 can't leave Riku alone for too long, after all)
Again, no. He said they were related. This isn't Final Fantasy 1 and Final Fantasy 2. No game in KH is truly independant, and those three in particular have a story that interlaces. And the fact is you're theorizing as well by saying Xion is related to Sora and Kairi, while being unrelated to Aqua. So how does that work?
Well, that got me gawking too... but that's why I noticed it, lawl =3 Well, the Darkness does all sorts of magical things, like turning Xehanort much tanner in both Heartless and Nobody forms, so why not help Riku out a bit?
That's also true =3 thank god I love both what I do and what I study.
I'm working full time and going to night classes. So it's not as fun as some might think :v
Oh, I see it now. Lol. I'm used to people not revealing their personal stats so I never bother checking anymore *doing so herself, lawl =3* 15,...
What did you study? What do you have experience/knowledge in? ...how old are you?
Not really. X is a tricky letter that can be read... almost however you want to read it as.
That really depends on what you're gonna do, and how much you'll enjoy doing it. What are you planning on working at?
I'm fine. Work was bearable and I did my exercises. Resting up a bit before hitting the shower, and then dinner because I'm starved. How's you?
Hm. Sure, why not =3 Thanks <3
1-6 and Roxas are Nobodies. It's their Somebodies that matter, if you want to call it that - who they used to be before losing their Hearts and becoming Nobodies
Again, if we'll ever find out who his somebody is. Like I said before, the only Organization members thus far whose Somebodies hold any sort of importance are members 1 through 6, and Roxas. Who Axel used to be isn't that important, unless they want to bring him in so that Roxas buried within Sora will respond to him. This will tie in with Ven no doubt being a factor in all of this, so they'll try to make a connection to him through Roxas.
Axel's Somebody is either irrelevant (since thus far, the only Nobodies whose Somebodies mattered were members 1-6 and Roxas), or a twist waiting to be revealed in KH3 when he'll show up whole. That means that if we're ever to find out at all - you'd better be ready to wait a good long while.
So I was thinking lately, that puberty kicking in aside, that there just might be a reason for Riku to have grown that big and strong and tall during the year of Sora's sleep. Yes, I know, he's a teenager that went through 15 to 16 and kept a... healthy lifestyle at least as far as physical activity is concerned (no idea what DiZ fed him though... then again seeing how Riku was the one cleaning the place up, he probably fed himself and Namine too =3 lawl), but I couldn't help but wonder. What if Riku's growth sprout was his body's attempt at keeping up with Xehanort's sense of self? He morphed into him, and judging by certain trailers, he went back and forth with it. We know for a fact there was a constant struggle for dominance within his being, hence the blindfold - to keep Xehanort's Heartless at bay. So maybe, just maybe, it wasn't just hormones and genes kicking in - at least, not his own? =3 what do you guys think?
It's a fun gesture. Axel is based on Reno's design, hence the looks and similar attitudes. Ale is Reno's favorite drink, hence with the X thrown in - Axel. Oh well. At least no one suggested Axel's Somebody was Riku =3
Nojima being brought in as scenario writer. The true reason for Kairi's kidnapping not being revealed, leaving us instead to deal with more Axel/Roxas innuendos. Riku not getting enough love other than from Sora and Santa. Mickey being a lying rat.
