Arctus avoided the attack that had been redirected at him, using his sword to knock away one of his own comets. "No one hits me with my own attack." He tightened his grip on his sword but their opponent fled before he could follow up with another attack. He was replaced with some armored woman in purple who Karina seemed to have a bone to pick with. Arctus raised his arm to shield his face from the sudden burst of heat that came from the wall of fire she summoned to surround the armored woman. "I like it. No retreat." Arctus jumped in after Karina and into the arena of flame and charged in after the girl to join in on the assault against their new opponent.

Torrin smiled a little at Aria as she nudged against him. "Yeah. It'll be fine. It'll take more than some device to slow me down." He assured her. "And that treat better be there when I get back. It's really good." Torrin watched Aria for a moment and stepped back away from the others to get ready to move out with Boreas and Take.

Qamar suddenly approached him and shoved something into his hand. He blinked at the bar and turned it over, raising an eyebrow. It wasn't going to do him any good but he pocketed it anyway. "Uh...thanks." The thought was appreciated but he had seen energy bars before and he never found the appeal to them. He glanced over at Adalric who questioned Mr. Incredible about helping them search for the device.

"Well I need to the rest of your friends over to Edna's place but if you're looking for a secret hiding place your best bet is to try the subway. The tunnels were abandoned a few months back ever since the new railway system replaced them." Mr. Incredible motioned towards a sealed off subway entrance on the other side of the park.

"Well I do not see the harm in sparing one more of use to help out. Especially if you all will be exploring some tunnels. Alright Adalric, you can go." She held out four small star-shaped badges. "Master Kidemonas gave these to me for situations like this. They're communications devices. They should still function even in this field. Just put these on your shirt and tap on them if you want to communicate with me or anyone else with one."

"Well let's get moving." Mr. Incredible spoke. "And good luck you four."

"We should get moving too. We'll meet up with you guys later. " Torrin pinned the badge to his coat and motioned with his head for the others to follow him.

Half an hour passes for Team Incredible...

The group arrived in front of a large gate with bars consisting of lasers blocking off the entrance to a mansion sitting atop a green hill. Mr. Incredible walked up to a screen on the wall and it turned on automatically revealing...an empty gray space. "What? Who's there? Who are you?" From the bottom of the screen came a small woman with glasses peering a little too closely into the monitor, practically sticking her nose into it. Her eyes widened when she saw Mr. Incredible but darted over towards the group behind him. "You brought friends?"

"Yeah I was thinking you could...help them out! Costumes, new identities, the full package!"

The gate opened. "Come come! Young heroes you say? Let's see what they are made of!"

"Pineapple? Did someone say pineapple?" The youngest member of the Chasers stepped forward and walked over, taking one of the glasses on the table. Pagos sniffed the drink to make sure there wasn't anything in it that he wasn't supposed to be drinking before downing the entire thing in a single gulp.

    "Hey! That was mine!"

"Oh shut up Dentro, let him have it. Hey Zeno you don't mind if I take yours right?" Avra walked in and slumped down into a chair beside Koa.

"Of course. I was hardly thirsty anyway."

"Cheers." She rose her glass up to toast with Koa, the two glasses clinking lightly together before they both drank from their glasses.

"So I was thinking..." Pagos looked at the others. "What are we going to do when we finish the mission? Do we just go our own separate ways or...?"

Dentro shrugged while Koa looked down at his glass and swirled the remainder of its contents around absentmindedly. "I don't really know. The only thing that's been on my mind has been what to tell my sister if I face her before this is all over. Illiana's on the other side of this you know."

"You're not the only one with family on the other side. You guys think I'm pushy? You haven't met my sisters." Avra sighed and shook her head slowly. "They won't understand until it's all over so don't think too hard about what they'll say, alright? Got it? Good."

Torrin glared at Qamar for her comment towards him but said nothing to her. His patience had suddenly worn thin. His head was foggy and his limbs felt heavy but he knew now was not the time for him to rest. "Glad you're okay then. I...I've been better." He lowered his voice, admitting to Aria. "I can still fight though. That's the only thing that matters." He added with some hesitation. It was true enough. All he had to do was keep telling himself that and it would be fine for time being. Sure, it had been magic keeping him awake for the past...who knows how long, but the second that device got destroyed he was sure it would set him back to normal.

Thallasa had already made her mind by the time everyone else had begun debating what to do. "Master Torrin, Boreas, Takehiko, you three will scout for any information regarding the Magitek device. If you find it, you are to contact me immediately. You have until one hour after nightfall to return regardless if you are successful or not. We must conserve what strength we have." She looked over at Aria and Tinarah who both seemed ready to go. "Aria, there will be a time and place for you to fight but for now you must stay with the group with greater numbers. Tinarah, I am certain your brother would go with you on the mission if you went and we cannot have our numbers so divided if we are caught off guard. Besides, a smaller recon group well attract less attention." She spoke calmly but firmly.

Here's a helpful list for Final Fantasy characters who've appeared in the series. Though several were just names in portals in KH3D.

Edit: Seems that list missed Tifa so don't forget her.

That's exciting. I like the musical variety we can get when multiple composers work on a game. Just look at XV's OST and it's DLC songs. Great stuff.

After the Heartless were cleared people started to come out of hiding. One man pointed towards the horizon. "Look! In the sky! It's Mr. Incredible!"

    "And Frozone!" A woman shouted.

Coming in at high speed were two costumed men, one creating an ice slide in the sky to skate on and the other, a blond large muscular man, holding onto his shoulder. The larger man, jumped down and onto the ground and ran towards the burning building. "Go Mr. Incredibe!" A small child exclaimed as the hero ripped a fire hydrant from the ground and used his bare hands to redirect the torrent of water that came pouring forth to douse the flames on the lower levels of the apartment complex. Above the one named Frozen began using his ice powers to extinguish the flames before the building took anymore damage.

Sirens could be heard closing in as police, firefighters, and a series of ambulances arrived at the scene to handle crowd control and check on the surrounding populace. When the flames had been put under control both Mr. Incredible and Frozen approached the group of keyblade wielders. The crowd went wild as people tried to close in on them screaming for autographs but were quickly stopped by the police.

"Good work with the building but as a tip from one superhero to another, you guys should be wearing masks." Mr. Incredible spoke with a slight hint of concern in his voice.

"Are those even costumes? You guys aren't part of some sort of new teenage supergroup because there isn't room here for amateurs." Frozone folded his arms.

"No need to be so harsh. The city could use a B Team considering all the new villains popping up." Mr. Incredible scratched his chin.

"As long as we don't have to work with them. My brand's already taken a hit because of your last suggestion." Frozone retorted in agitation.

Laughing could be heard echoing over the area. "Would you look at that? I knew the little brats wouldn't be so easy to kill! Hah! This is the most fun I've had in minutes!" The laughter continued. "Well say hello to a little thing called a Magitek Magic Inhibiting Field! Such a boooorrriing name but I assure you this will make your next encounters that much more PAINFUL! Hahaha! Let's see how tough you children are when those keyblades run out of juice!"

Torrin recognized the voice belonging to the clown from earlier and looked around. He saw nothing. "Show yourself!" Of course, his aggravated response was met with no answer. Torrin exhaled loudly and felt himself feeling weary. "Ugh...what the hell?" He pressed his hand to his forehead and blinked, shaking his head quickly to refocus. Something was wrong. He had thought that the clown's boast had been hollow but even as he stood there he could feel something off inside himself. The magic he had expended in battle had left him drained and he felt like he could no longer call on his strength to recover it. He had a sinking feeling that meditation would not fix it either. "How does that clown even know what a keyblade is? Was someone else here first?"

Knowing he wouldn't get the answer anytime soon he decided to focus on other things. "Hey," he looked over at Aria, "You okay? This...magic...whatever field isn't making you sick is it?"

Thallasa looked down at her hands, feeling not quite herself with the magic inhibiting field active. "We're going to have to find a way to shut this down as soon as possible. We need to find where the Magitek device is." She spoke up, looking at the others. Her eyes narrowed on seeing Torrin interacting with the Princess of Heart. Whatever his intentions were, she didn't trust him. For all she knew he was scoping out a potential asset to steal away and use against the Realm of Light. She was informed of Gero's experience in the other realm and when she had been called in to back the Council's decision she was against allowing those from the Dark Realm from participating in the mission. But she was just one against seven...

"You two," she spoke towards the costumed heroes, "is there anywhere where a couple of...uh...heroes like us could find some rest in peace and quiet?"

"You've got to be kidding me! They're homeless! Homeless heroes! You know what? I'm done here. Day saved. Buildings are in tact. Later, Incredible." Frozone took off, firing ice onto the floor as he skated off into the sky.

"Sorry about that." Mr. Incredible scratched the back of his head. "Well...she's not gonna like it...but I do know ooonnneeee person who might be okay with having a few heroes stay over. In fact, if you give her the chance, she'd be excited to get some new work with fresh faces like yourselves."

With their numbers thinned the Heartless began to frenzy and wildly attacked the party. Those that would have attacked Glyde and Tinarah were drawn in by the light of Takehiko's shield and went after him instead, pelting him with ice shards. The remainder of the party was struck by the cold physical blows by the Icy Cubes as they spun and charged at the keyblade wielders or Blizzard spells from the Blue Rhapsodies.

Torrin appeared to vanish and reappear on the other side of the battlefield. In a single cut from Shin-Zantetsuken several Icy Cubes, Blue Rhapsodies, and Yellow Operas popped out of existence upon their destruction. "Keep it coming! They're falling like flies." He cast several Cure spells to the party upon noticing that they were weaker after having been rushing into burning buildings earlier. He first cast a spell on Aria, then on Glyde, then Illiana, then Tinarah, and finally on Qamar. Torrin took in a deep breath, having exhausted his magical reserves already just making sure the other members of the team would stay up fighting. Perhaps he could have just spent it on obliterating the Heartless but he had already made his choice. Torrin jumped over towards the Bolt Towers and cut most of them down in a succession of fluid strikes before rushing over and cutting through another two Heartless, Neoshadows, before they had the chance to strike.

Enok's eyes followed the elf woman in the direction she ran off to. "I'll knock out any guards on patrol in the area. In case things do go south you won't need to worry about being surrounded too quickly." Without waiting for any sort of response he ducked behind an alleyway with no intention of keeping to his word. Enok rounded one corner and then another and soon he was on track to following after the elf woman, going in a full sprint to make up for lost ground.

Kord nodded in agreement. "Guess you're right. I don't want to be stuck here any longer than you do." He looked around the unfamiliar territory and, unfortunately for him, no amount of werewolf instincts were going to help him pick a direction to head in. Maybe if he had been more familiar with the area it might have helped but as far as he knew this was some kind of random forest. "So where to, mighty witcher?" Kord half-joked.

Alder looked at Mora and ran over to her side but there was nothing for him to do. He couldn't just stop the darkness from leaving her body. "Just hang in there!" He looked over at Chrono. "There's a black pair of gloves under some rocks by the entrance of the cave. Put them on and help me put the core into position. No one can touch the core without those gloves." Alder then took the schematics from Cerdic muttering a faint 'sorry' as he did so.

"You and Daeni...just watch over Mora and keep an eye for Ria. Chrono and I can handle the Extractor."
Alder glanced back down at the schematics and rushed over towards the ruins of the machine to get to work piecing back together what he could as fast as he could. The Extractor didn't need to function for a lifetime, it just needed to work one more time...

One of those C's isn't Chrono. It's the A in Aevum!" He scratched his chin and sighed after thinking it over some more. "There's still...what? Twelve permutations left? Yeah..." He shook his head. Torrin sighed. He couldn't help but feel a little frustrated knowing that Aria was going to keep putting herself in harm's way. He just had to keep a closer eye on her. He had seen enough people die senseless deaths. He folded his arms, wincing when he brushed up against his burnt arm but kept them folded regardless. He realized Aria hadn't asked to be placed under that kind of responsibility but it was what she was born into and that's just how things were. The responsibility of what she was just could not be shrugged off. He frowned, not sure why exactly it bothered him so much.

Qamar asked if he had sensed anything and he nodded. "I've got a better nose than most when it comes to these kinds of things." He admitted. "There's darkness on them but that's not what concerns me. There's something else. It's different than what I'm used to. Artificial." He lowered his head and closed his eyes to think over it, only looking back up to give a thumbs up to Take when the boy called at them from the rooftop after having followed them and missed them.

"This is bad..." He muttered under his breath, coming to the realization of what he had felt coming. "Heartless!"

Some appeared by popping in out of thin air and others crawled their way out of nearby manholes. The civilians they had just saved were now on the run as Heartless began to fill the area by the dozens, focusing their attention on the very thing they hated most. Keyblade Wielders.

"I'll get the civilians to safety! Everyone else focus on the Heartless!" Thallasa shouted at the group.

Dammit how can these guys be so strong? I should be wiping the floor with them, not being on the defensive. Torrin found himself trapped having to knock Bomb Voyage's explosives into the air to keep from causing collateral damage and dodging out of the way of the clown's spells while simultaneously parrying the masked fighter's attacks. Skilled as he was, even he had trouble keeping up on all three fronts and eventually allowed the clown to blindside him. A blast of fire knocked Torrin to the side sending him rolling to the edge of the building where he crashed into the parapet causing him to drop both of his blades. His right sleeve was burnt through leaving his arm singed. His keyblade reappeared in his left hand now in one piece and he used it to force himself back up to his feet before aiming it back at his three opponents. He gritted his teeth and gripped his keyblade with both hands readying to push on.

"No last words? Good! Time to die!" Torrin prepared to take another hit from the clown when Aria's voice chimed in followed by bolts of lightning striking down at the clown that caused him to pause and jump out of the spell's area of effect, sparks arcing on his clothes from having taken a hit. "Oohh! Goody two-shoes! You'll burn for that."

"Aria you don't want to get involved here!" The only thing now running through his mind was that Aria had been reckless by coming to his aid. Before he could further scold or warn her to stay back the sound of a keyblade glider came overhead and with it came Qamar who went in to attack the masked man. The masked man held up a hand and summoned a green barrier that stopped her attack before it could touch him. This appeared to greatly amuse the clown who burst out in a high-pitched laugh.

"Oh you kids are so cute!"

"Evening the numbers will not improve your odds of victory."
The masked man spoke in a monotone.

"Our work here is done and with that we bid you adieu and..." No don't say it. Don't you dare say- "BOMB VOYAGE!" All at once every explosive Bomb Voyage carried was thrown at the trio. Several explosions tore the roof of the building up and lit the sky up with a plume of bright fire. Everything went black.

Qamar, Aria, and Torrin were standing back on the park not far from where they had started. Streams of black smoke faded away from around the three. Torrin eyed the building they were fighting on that had been damaged by the blast but it appeared the explosives were incendiary and didn't have the power to destroy the floor beneath them. He sighed in relief that no one had been hurt and none of them had been roasted alive. Though now the villains had escaped... Torrin looked back at the burning building. It seemed that, in a few moments, the last of the people trapped inside would be saved and that was some good news at least.

Torrin glanced over at Qamar. "Thanks for the assist. But you..." Torrin looked back at Aria and stepped closer to her. "You're a Princess of Heart. You need to stay safe and-" He stopped himself short as he reminded himself of the speeches of responsibility he received all the time came to mind immediately. From what he had seen of Aria he knew she wasn't going to be the type to sit down and listen to rules about staying put in a crisis. He never did. "Just...just be careful okay?" He spoke in a softer tone.

The flames raged on and grew more intense as time went. Floors 5 and up are now aflame. Those entering the building will now take 25 Damage when saving those still trapped inside. You can still only save a maximum of 3 people. They must all be from the same floor.

The Party took 20 Damage from the flames!
    Takehiko: 55/75HP
    Tinarah: 30/50HP
    Aria: 40/60HP
    Qamar: 30/50HP
    Glyde: 20/40HP
    Boreas: 60/80HP
    Chrono: 35/55HP
    Illiana: 25/45HP

    Floor 10: 3 people left
    Floor 9: 7 people left
    Floor 8: 4 people left

Every person carried out and into safety was treated by Master Thallasa with her magic to cure them of their burns and injuries they suffered in the escape. Now that time had passed a crowd watched as the young heroes rescued those still trapped in the apartment complex. For every person brought to safety came a cheer and round of applause.

Torrin flew past the man running away and narrowed his eyes. He cut the man off and landed in front of him, aiming his keyblade at the villain. "End of the road, bomber."

The man had not looked anything like what Torrin would have expected a bomber to look like. In fact, with the white face paint and strange getup he almost looked...comical. Immediately reached for one of his spherical explosive strapped to his crossing belts and grinned at Torrin. "It's Bomb Voyage to you!" He spoke in a thick French accent as he lobbed a bomb at Torrin only to have the keyblade master swiped his keyblade upwards and launch the bomb straight into the sky where it exploded harmlessly in the air.

"Nope. Don't think so. You're going down." Torrin stepped forward and almost as soon as he did so a bolt of lightning came and struck near his feet, causing him to stop and turn to come face to face with another face-painted weirdo in a clown outfit standing on the ledge of the building. How did that guy get there without me noticing? Torrin wasn't sure whether to laugh or to be concerned at the sudden appearance of another costumed person but he wasn't going to sit around and get double-teamed. "Alright. Game's over." His keyblade split in two.

"Oooo! Looky looky! This one's got the dark broody archetype down to a T! Time to kill the pooooser!" The clown spoke in a sing-song voice, bouncing off the ledge to close in the gap while Bomb Voyage pulled out several bombs from his bandolier.

"Two clowns go down just as easy as one."

"And would your friends say the same thing?" Another voice spoke. Torrin spun around and narrowed his eyes to catch sight of a man dressed in white wearing some kind of cat-like mask. In his hands he held two rapiers that looked more like oversized bolts.

    "What do you mean?"

"That's for us to know and for you to never find out!" The clown shouted. Just then Torrin began to sense a coming darkness that wasn't there before.

"El Cee knocked her out, huh? Yeah he did the same with ours when we brought one over. Honestly I think it was a good idea. Those princesses can be feisty." Dentro stated.

"Yeah...is it me or has the master gotten...scarier as of late? Now that we're actually going out and collecting the Seven he seems so much more focused. Intense." Koa added in.

"I agree." Zeno took another sip of his wine. "You're not old enough to drink are you? At least not according to this world's laws. The bartender is out though so if you want to have a go at it we won't stop you."

"Uh there's some kind of strange fruit juice behind the bar. I think I overheard that it was called...Pineapple Fruit Juice?"

Zeno chuckled. "No, dear boy. It's Paopu Fruit." As he spoke Dentro hopped over the bar to pick up a large glass bottle with an image of a star-shaped fruit on it. "Yes, that's the one. However, I do not recall seeing that fruit anywhere on this world...hm."

"Here you go. Not sure where the bartender is. Or where any of the usual patrons are. But we're here and a few free drinks seems like fair payment for saving this world."

"The Master did it. Not us." Koa corrected, raising an eyebrow as a Dentro began to hastily pour the bright yellow liquid into four glasses. "Kinda looks like orange juice." Koa leaned in and sniffed his glass. "Smells...tropical? Is that a thing?" He blinked and looked over towards Chrys, pushing a glass towards her. "Ladies first." He said, obviously hesitant to drink it first himself.

Alder scratched his chin as he zoned out, only partially hearing what Daeni had to say about her memories while he focused on what he had read. "I...I think I can put it all back together." He reached out towards Daeni. "Mind if I take this? There's some schematics here that'll really be helpful." Alder was eager to return to the cave to try out what he had learned. "I just remembered that I've got some gloves stashed in the cave that'll make moving that core safe. And...there's this little thing about a username and password...I think I can work out the password but I'm stuck on what the username was."

"Apparently the username for the control panel is related to..."
He cleared his throat. "A hero of my world, lost in time." Alder continued with saying, "The console's password is a string of numbers and this hint that was jotted down had a bunch of letters...K, C, M, X, D, A, C, R, C, A. I figure those are the first letters of our names and our numbers but there's some repeats in there...so I'm sure exactly on the order. 1, something, 9, 5, 6, something, something, 8, something, something..."

Arctus switched his sword from his left to his right hand, a little store that his earlier attack did not work and only ended up causing pain and loss of feeling in his left arm. Before he had regained his composure and recovered Lima was already fleeing the battle and there was now some keyblade wielder around who, from what he heard. also knew Karina. Was there anyone who didn't know her? He sighed. It didn't really matter right now. There was still another battle going on with Little Miss Hothead and someone else using fire magic.

"Alright, techno-freak. What'll we do about you?" Arctus shifted gravity on himself to 'fall' in the direction of Echo before shifting it once more to fly up into the sky to get the high ground advantage. Once Arctus was several dozen feet above Echo he returned his own gravity back to normal and as he began to fall he called on his magic to rain down a barrage of small comets onto Echo as he dived down adding his own sword strike into the mix hoping to either pelt Echo with his magic or cut him down with his blade.

Gero stepped forward and gave one passing glance at Takehiko before making his way over towards Aria. He had wished things had gone better in their interaction but for now it was good to have simply spoken with him. Gero passed by Torrin when nearing Aria, glancing over at the boy with distrust. The stench of darkness was strong with him and though it was not as potent as the other he had come across with it bore the same scent. "In two days time a very important day will be upon us. I'm hoping that time will permit you to return here on that day." He spoke lowly while giving her a slightly smile before stepping away and raising his voice to speak to everyone now.

"Now that everyone has gathered here, there is a technique that I wish to teach you all to help you on your journey." Gero scratched his beard. He had been made aware that both Adalric and Qamar had already learned this lesson and no doubt the two from the Realm of Darkness already knew it. "It is an ability that will boost your strength significantly but I will warn you all to not throw caution into the wind. It will not make you invincible and between each use you will need to rest before calling upon its power again. Only use it when necessary." He paused to let the warning sink in. "Now, on with the lesson."

Illiana, Tinarah, Chrono, Takehiko, Aria, and Glyde have learned how to use their first Drive Form! Information can be found in the OOC Thread.

"Alright! With that out of the way, let's head out." Thallasa called for her keyblade. A light shot out from its tip and a portal was opened. Without waiting for any response from the others she stepped through the portal.

The team stepped onto the edge of a grassy park, the sky was a hazy orange, the sun could no longer be seen as wherever they turned they would be greeted with sights of skyscrapers and large buildings. In the distance the siren of a police car could be heard. People walking along the sidewalks paid the group no attention as they were too preoccupied with the city life to care that strangers from another world had just portaled in on them.

"Looks like a fairly standard large city. I'm not sure why the Council decided to send us here." Torrin folded his arms, looking up at the rays of sunlight that peeked through the spaces between buildings. He took a few steps forward and looked around. Just barely he could pick out traces of darkness on the world but there wasn't enough around to call in the Heartless. "Unless something major happens I think we're safe from having this world fall into darkness." He commented.

"What now?" He turned to Thallasa expecting an answer but as soon as he spoke top floor of the building behind her fireballed as the windows shattered. Smoke plumed out of the windows and screams came from within the building. From what it appeared to be it was a ten story apartment complex and the fire had already begun spreading fast. Windows on the the flowers beneath where the fire had started began to shatter as the flames expanded. Just barely visible atop the building was a silhouette of a man hiding behind the smoke. The man took off running and leapt to another building and was soon to be out of sight.

People were pouring out from the building but there was no way those on the upper floors would be able to escape on time. "Dammit! He can't get away with this." Torrin tossed his keyblade into the air, damning all sense of subtlety as it transformed into a glider. Torrin jumped atop his glider and flew after the man who ran shouting, "Get those people out of that building! Let me worry about this!"

The 10th, 9th, and 8th floors all contain civilians who are trapped in their rooms by the flames. You can only save 3 people at a time and can only save those on the floor you are on.
Floors 7, 8, 9, and 10 are aflame. Every post while on a burning floor will damage you by 20 HP through heat and smoke inhalation.
10 people trapped on the 8th floor.
13 people are trapped on the 9th floor.
15 people are trapped on the 10th floor.

When saving civilians post which floor you are on and how many you have saved.

"Good work, Adalric. Though I believe you've had enough training for today. It's time you got your hands dirty with a real assignment." Aster stepped onto the training grounds. "Go out the front entrance. That's where everyone is waiting on you. Master Thallasa is leading the mission." She directed. "Oh, and good luck Adalric. You're a capable student working alongside other capable students. I do not see any reason why you can't make friends of them. ...Just be wary of the two from the Realm of Darkness. They seem to have good heads on them but after hearing of Tinarah and Master Gero's experiences I'd rather not have you taking any unnecessary risks."

"We're going to a rather exciting world. A quite colorful one if I do say so myself. I am sure that there will be plenty of opportunity for you all to test your strength there." She answered Boreas, looking back to the entrance to wait for the others to return and for the last student to arrive before they depart.

After Aria had come to see him he was left in good spirits but eventually after waiting he realized that no one else was coming. Choma stepped out of the castle when Tinarah had not come to him to bid him farewell. "Tinarah you're leaving already?" Choma stepped over towards the girl, giving a faint smile. "I wanted to see you off and wish you safe travels."

"Well it's good to see that you're getting some air on another world." Kide commented, barely looking up from the book he was reading. On the spine of the leather-bound book was a single letter golden letter too damaged from the book's abuse to be legible anymore. He turned to another page and nodded to himself then placed a bookmark before he set the book down on his desk. "It's a surprise. There's sections of the castle that have been sealed off for my work...but let's just say this will make combat training fun. The basic functions should be up and running by the time you return. Honestly my work would have taken me another decade to complete without some of these technical books Master Stamatis has allowed me to use. Another master had the same idea but just never started work on the project." Kidemonas looked back up at Qamar.

"Anyway, good luck on the trip. I've still got a lot of work to finish."

At the sound of the door opening Dentro turned to look at who entered and flashed a wide grin on his face. "Hey look who showed up!"

"Oh? Chrys? What's up?" Koa spoke up.

Zeno turned in his seat at the bar and took a sip of his red wine. "Oh my, the prodigal daughter has returned. Welcome back."

"So how'd your mission go?" Koa curiously asked motioning for Chrys to take a seat with him and Dentro at the table they were at.

"Did Avra boss you around? She can be a really pushy." Dentro kicked up his feet onto the table before Koa pushed them off. "Hey!"

"That's because you have no manners. I'm still confused why the master ever picked someone as uncultured as you."

"I'll show you uncultured." Dentro tossed a crumpled up napkin at Zeno who ducked his head and glared at him.

    "Guys really...not today."
